While it is one of the more scenic courses I've found the scheduling is awful as they try to squeeze as many people in and it becomes dangerous with the amount of people and balls flying around the same 9 holes. They even tried to group us with other people to condense the course even more. It is the only course in BV so if you're visiting your options are slim. A lot of improvements needed as it's very beat up but again I can overlook all of that for the amazing views.

The course runs beside I-70, so mountain serenity comes with a symphony of highway noise. Other private courses in the region do too, but are set back further so the decibel level is lower or insignificant. This location nevertheless is a must-play if you're anywhere near Vail.

Deer Creek Valley Ranch is one of the best venues in Colorado. We researched and visited a LOT of…read morevenues, and are so glad we finally found Deer Creek. First of all, the venue itself is just gorgeous. The barn has a rustic feel while still being super nice and comfortable - there's heating, air conditioning, and real (nice) bathrooms! I didn't even realize that was something we would have to consider until we visited a dozen other venues that were more expensive with no on-site toilets. There are 2 ceremony sites to choose from. We chose the gazebo site, and the views were amazing. Our guests were mostly from out of town, and they could not stop raving about how gorgeous it was. Next to the gazebo, there is a well-kept field with yard games to play, and our guests had so much fun. The only downside to the barn is that if you have more than 100 or so guests, some will need to sit upstairs, and it is a bit isolated. However, we really only had people up there during dinner, so it was not an issue. We utilized the amazing outdoor fireplace patio for speeches and first dance, and although it was a little chilly (especially for August), there was such a cozy feel. The "Man Cave" is also an amazing bonus feature. We kept having to pull guests upstairs to dance because everyone just wanted to hang out downstairs and play games because it was so cool. The venue itself is amazing, but Lindsey, the Site Coordinator, was awesome to work with. She was super responsive and was always there to answer my questions. You can tell she really cares about her couples and just wants everyone's day to go as smoothly as possible. Deer Creek Valley Ranch definitely ticked all of the boxes we were looking for in a venue. The value is really great for what you get, and all of our guests were super impressed. If you want a Colorado rustic mountain feel with elegance fairly close to Denver, look no further.

Christian and her assistant, Sarah were so responsive and personable that made our planning process easy and actually fun even from a distance (we live in Chicago). They were organized, eager to help and gave lists of top of the line vendors to work with. Christian was welcoming and made us feel so comfortable on their Ranch. She even gave my wife a warm hug and calming words of advice on our wedding day. Deer Creek Valley Ranch will always hold a dear place in our hearts. I'll never forget the amazing sight of my wife coming over the Covered Bridge on a horse drawn carriage to marry me. Now I hear the place is even better now that their Man Cave is done! Some people spend too much time and psychic energy bonding with their golf balls and slow down play. You will definitely lose a few balls on this course so just expect it, live with it and keep moving. With the thick vegetation and the meandering creek these balls are gone forever so just let them go. II'd play here again anytime!

I wish I could play golf on courses like this all the time. I typically play up at Cape Royale on Lake Livingston. No comparison.
