While it is one of the more scenic courses I've found the scheduling is awful as they try to squeeze as many people in and it becomes dangerous with the amount of people and balls flying around the same 9 holes. They even tried to group us with other people to condense the course even more. It is the only course in BV so if you're visiting your options are slim. A lot of improvements needed as it's very beat up but again I can overlook all of that for the amazing views.

First off -- it's a public course, and some argue the best non-private track in the country. That…read moremight be debatable. The setting is perfection: nestled at the base of the Gore Range with postcard-worthy views at every hole. Conditions: top-notch. Smooth greens, tight fairways, and the layout rewards smart play without being brutal. It is far more polished than most munis. Slightly sad fact? The course runs beside I-70, so mountain serenity comes with a symphony of highway noise. Other private courses in the region do too, but are set back further so the decibel level is lower or insignificant. This location nevertheless is a must-play if you're anywhere near Vail.

The views of the Mt Roseley and the beautiful green meadow are breathtaking. The outdoor gazebo where the vows are done is stunning! All of the staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. Christian and her assistant, Sarah were so responsive and personable that made our planning process easy and actually fun even from a distance (we live in Chicago). They were organized, eager to help and gave lists of top of the line vendors to work with. Christian was welcoming and made us feel so comfortable on their Ranch. She even gave my wife a warm hug and calming words of advice on our wedding day. Deer Creek Valley Ranch will always hold a dear place in our hearts. I'll never forget the amazing sight of my wife coming over the Covered Bridge on a horse drawn carriage to marry me. Now I hear the place is even better now that their Man Cave is done! I hope we get to go back and visit again soon!

Only snafu for me was the club rental. They have nice new Calloway rental sets. They asked if I wanted senior clubs and I said yes. Unfortunately the senior clubs were some beat up old Titleists so stay away from those. The rangers did keep play moving which I greatly appreciated. Some people spend too much time and psychic energy bonding with their golf balls and slow down play. You will definitely lose a few balls on this course so just expect it, live with it and keep moving. With the thick vegetation and the meandering creek these balls are gone forever so just let them go. II'd play here again anytime!

Lots of elevation changes. I rented clubs as well and they were very nice (Taylormade). Beer cart lady was on the course. She offered snacks, beers, soft drinks, and liquor. I wish I could play golf on courses like this all the time. I typically play up at Cape Royale on Lake Livingston. No comparison. If you get a chance, spend the money and play golf in Colorado during the summer. All the courses I passed on 71 in the many ski resort towns looked very nice.

We called when we got there and asked if we'd be able to golf because we had driven 3 hours and needed a good stopping point to get out, move around and stretch our legs. Although this lady was closing up, she allowed my friend and I to still golf because we were a party of 2 and could get it done within the 30 minutes. We were so thankful!! This mini golf course is so well maintained and the landscaping is beautiful. Very clean and fun to play on because there are different obstacles depending on the hole. Him? Then, the group had a tee time they were on time for, but the course was behind on their times... so they told our group we had to take a 2 HOUR break, so they could catch up.. but then later tried to say it was the groups fault.

I would have given this 5 full stars if not for the exorbitant prices. This is the highest green fee I have ever paid, but EVGC is NOT lacking in clientele.
