I've always used Nissan in the past. After their last quote on services, which was through the roof and ridiculous, I went to Coastal Automotive, and they provided a much more reasonable quote, better service and honesty about repairs that would be best to have done at Nissan, as well as honesty about what services didn't really need to be done at that time. I feel they truly care about their customers and won't charge for unnecessary things that a car doesn't need until it actually needs it. They will have all of my service going forward with the exception of things that really need to be done at Nissan. read more

Gave my truck the worst "alignment" I have ever seen in my life, I would be surprised if it ever saw the rack. It looked like a camber car when I picked it up but the technician claimed it was "in spec". Also left the crown nuts on the new upper control arms HAND TIGHT with NO cotter pins on either side. Absolutely terrible workmanship. Do not go here unless you want your vehicle falling apart on the road. read more

On a road trip with my young daughter and two dogs in 95° weather from Miami to South Carolina my Jeep broke down, leaving us stranded in Georgia. I called another mechanic first and they actually recommended coastal automotive and I am so thankful that they did! Everyone I spoke to was exceedingly friendly, helpful, and understanding of my situation and frustration. One of their employees even picked us up and gave us a ride to a hotel, my daughter and senior pups were melting! They were able to get us fixed and back on the road in 24 hours and didn't overcharge or act like I was just a clueless woman, they were awesome and I can't thank them enough. Really disappointed. I had been going to this garage for years. The shop is now struggling. They have lost many of their long term employees. I needed an oil change and shift cable replaced on my Jeep. The technician working on my vehicle broke the 4 wheel drive shift cable while trying to repair the 2 wheel drive shift cable. They did not try to make it right in the least. My options were leave with the 4 wheel drive not functioning or pay double to have another cable replaced. And, it took a week to do this as a technician quit while my vehicle was there. The individuals at the front desk were horrid. The young man looked oblivious and disinterested. The young woman at the front desk's idea of customer service was to refer me to the garage where one of the long term employees had gone. Just really disappointed in the lack of professionalism and customer service. read more

I took my truck here to have the tires swapped out.. I told them I was keeping the original tires because I had somebody lined up to purchase them. When I picked up the truck the new tires were mounted fine but the old tires were ruined. They ripped gaping holes into the sidewall with their machine.. I called and spoke to Dale who was very nice. He told me to bring them down and they would take a look. When I brought them down the owner was there. He completely denied that it's even possible that his machine could do this damage. I said clearly you can see the damage and all the marks from the machine on all of tires. He kept saying I don't understand how this could happen my machine couldn't do this period this. I don't think you did this here. Meanwhile there's a receipt showing that they did last night and I paid for that service at their location. Then he proceeded to curse at me and told me to get my s!!t and get off his property. And said spread the word I don't give a f!!k.... I looked around for a second because I thought I was getting punked but it was actually happening this owner is a complete idiot.
