During hanging and obstacle exercises, there were moments when children needed help but no coach was nearby to assist or spot them safely. For a ninja-style program involving climbing, swinging, and elevated obstacles, consistent supervision and equal attention to all children should be a basic expectation. What was also disappointing was the lack of concern or follow-up when we chose to withdraw. No one asked why we were leaving or seemed interested in understanding our experience, which left us with the impression that parent feedback and individual student experiences were not being taken very seriously. For parents considering this program, I would recommend paying close attention not only to the facility itself, but also to how consistently all children are supervised, guided, and included during class.

I have been meaning to do an in depth review, but I wanted to get this five stars out there. If you are new to Sammamish, or have kids, this is a community worth being part of. Coleen at the front desk is helpful. Everyone is nice. I am also so so appreciative of the coffee. So a special thanks to everyone who makes coffee even when they feel like they just made it. Classes are very good too. All levels. Truly this is an approachable gym. Except maybe from 3-5. Then it is a high school hang out. Which is wonderful! What a great place for kids to gather to exercise and be together. A+ in my book.

At PLCP, we have found the perfect balance between flexible structure and the freedom to just play and be kids. Our family has had nothing but wonderful experiences the last two years with Teacher Kim! It's very evident that she is thoroughly experienced with these age groups and provides a variety of developmentally appropriate activities and lessons for the kids. There's no better feeling as a parent than seeing your child thrive in their first experience of school! I am grateful to have found a preschool where my son is safe, positively engaged with his peers and teacher, and excited to go to school each day. As a former K/1st teacher, I have no doubt that Pine Lake Co-op is a wonderful place for both you and your child to grow and learn together. This place checks all the boxes. The staff are very professional and kind, easily some of the best I've encountered in my many visits to different CF boxes. There is even more that I haven't taken advantage of such as personalized programming and nutrition coaching. I really leaned into the program and have been seeing results. They do gym events such as internal competitions and social outings, which helps with building community. My only critique would be that I wish I got to do more CF classics like the Girl WODs and Hero WODs. But hey, I'm stronger and more fit so it's hard to complain about a great gym like this.

I've attended the Club Teen Center for years, and there used to really be a community there of supportive and loving staff and people. There were actually alumnis who would return with college degrees or jobs or kids. But ever since the new CEO, Tim Motts, entered, he cut our funding, said he wanted to "stick [his] shoe up [a youth's] ass" for misbehaving, ignored blatant safety violations that have been properly reported (such as when Nicole aggressively grabbed a club youth), and worst of all, fired our staff who have supported youth for decades simply for disagreeing with him. It's absolutely unbelievable how badly he's hit our club, and I can't imagine how other clubs have also been impacted, in less than a year. I was really planning on coming back when I'm in college or after I get a job, now, I realize my last time will be in high school. Tim Motts does not have the youth in mind in his decisions and policies, he simply wants to feed his ego and reputation to impress the Boys and Girls Club of America and his other selfish goals. You can't have a selfish person be in charge of a child-care program, or stuff like this will happen, and your childhood places will turn bland and empty. Despite calling over 10 times and being promised a refund, it has been over a month with no resolution. Every time I speak to them, I get a different excuse--once it's the accounting team handling it, and another time it's the IT department, but nothing ever gets done.
