He seems to claim several names, Jeffery Anderson at times. Probably both fake. He said that we needed a new heater. So I paid him in advance for the heater as well as for that days service call. He subsequently blew off TWO following appointments without calling to let me know why or when he would actually be back to install the heater I paid for. So on top of everything else this cost me, I lost two days pay waiting at home for him for no good reason. He surely could have picked up the phone to release me from this unnecessary waiting game but chose to leave me hanging interminably instead. All this time I had space heaters on my tub, hoping it did not freeze up which would destroy it. When he finally did show up to install the heater, I had told him in advance not to wake me up until he had the job done. When he woke me up he told me that I owed $355.00 for that days labor. I trusted it was true and paid him as I had not idea how long he had been working. Later, I checked my security cams and discovered that it took him under 30 minutes. Since when do hot tub techs make $700 per hour? Knowing that this is an unreasonable amount to pay for hot tub service I contacted the store. Charlie the owner of the store, who had previously told me that he had personally trained the technician to work for him, told me that he was not responsible for what I was charged and it was none of his business! Really? So, even though the tech was trained at the store, and sent to me by the store, they claim to be...not responsible? That about sums it up. Avoid!

I was having an existing pool relocated. After coming out to measure, he told me, "$32,000. 00 was his final quote". I immediately declined the job and asked him to refund my deposit! He refused! Stating that all deposits were non-refundable. Today is March 20, 2026. I am filing a claim in Small Claims Court. I learned a valuable lesson. Do not do business with this man or company!

Jon was the tech, he called when they said he would, he showed up on time. Polite, friendly, professional, knowledgeable and WAY more reasonably priced than the other companies I called. If you watch the man work, its immediately clear that he knows what he is doing. And even though that knowledge and skill is how he makes his living, he was very good about answering questions I had; and even providing tips that would ensure that I would need his services less! I found his honesty and helpfulness refreshing, and after three years since his last visit, I'm hoping I can reach him again to fix a difficult-to-service leak. PS- I wrote this review for two reasons: 1.) because I was that satisfied by Spa Service's performance, and 2.) because the poor review from the Veterinarian below, in particular, annoyed me. I found out that they were in and out in less than 10 min and never vacuumed or brushed the walls of my pool. Their website says: Service Includes: Testing of pool water chemistry Addition of chemicals needed for water balance Skimming of pool surface Vacuuming of pool floor Alternating weeks of waterline cleaning and wall brushing Cleaning of pump and skimmer baskets Backwashing of filter as needed I let them know what happened and sent a video attachment. They offered to give me a credit for one service. They had been out over 20 times. Remember to Inspect what you expect, if you choose to hire them in the future.
