His professionalism, knowledge of the body, and ability to identify exactly where tension is coming from is unmatched. Updated review: I've been seeing Abdel every week for about 6 yrs now and he's still consistently great (unlike many in the past who tend to slack off once you're a regular). I've recommended many others to him at least 4 of whom are also regulars now. Have to say the nasty review by 'Susan' is bizarre and completely unlike any experience I've had w Abdel. He's always been professional, considerate of female modesty and a really nice man. But it's clear that reviewer has issues: massages are always one on one, not chaperoned, Abdel is an individual practitioner (thus no other staff there although his next client is often in the next room), and if there were cameras in the room where we get un/dressed, THAT would be a problem. So basic common sense can tell you whether to believe that seemingly malicious claim. Abdel's the best! Don't know what I'd do without him. read more

I've gotten many massage over the past 30 years and only 3 rank at the top 10 and MTP - Abdel Elyousfi is at the number 1 spot. Abdel is unbelievable when it come to customer service. The facility is clean and quite. He finds area that you didn't know need to be worked on. His massage does not stop till he is satisfied that he relaxed every spot that needed work. I've had neck and lower back issue for over 3 years and since going to him there is very little to no pain anymore. The location is great plenty or parking or just a short walk (7 minutes) from the subway green line D train. Appointments are easy and he responds if not that day definitely the next day. You rarely have to wait no more than 5 minutes to get in for your massage. He starts by asking if there are any spots that need work or other issues. Once he gets going there is no talking just his hands working to release all the knots and stress. Price is great. When I was recommended to go to MTP for my sore shoulders and lower back, I was hesitant because I've never gone to a non-asian male therapist. However, the offer for new patient was too good to pass up plus I was really in a lot of pain. Making an appointment with Abdel was super easy and he is prompt at responding. The location in Newton Center is very easy to get to and there is no need to worry about parking meters or finding a spot. Needless to say, he worked wonders on my shoulders just in one session! Recently when I had a stiff neck that gave me a severe headache, there was no doubt I was going back to Abdel. After 2 sessions, I've had so much mobility with my neck and my headache is almost gone. Even my co-workers are amazed at the speed of my recovery. One thing I love about Abdel is that he asks the right questions about your aches and pains. Like the other reviewers said, he is very skillful and experienced in knowing where the tight knots are and how to work them.
