In April, 2025, due to the excellent previously provided in 2024, we decided to upgrade the heat pump in another unit that we own, and immediately contacted Lawrence Air Systems in Seekonk for our project. We installed another Mitsubishi Energy Star certified heat pump. Once again, I need to call out at least the following: Ray Martin; David Briganti; Christine Glazier; Installers-George and Matt. I'm sure that I am missing a couple of names, but you know who you are. Everyone worked together for a very smooth installation, at least from my viewpoint. I still cannot believe the balancing act performed with the actual air handler installation with just two men working very hard to lift the unit carefully into place. This was an upgrade to an older heat pump that still had some life left in it, but we wanted to get the newer, more efficient, quieter heat pump that we could rely on for many years to come. It was particularly important for us to get the new line set installed, as others in our condo complex have used other companies who reused the older line sets with soldered joints that ended up leaking, causing them great additional expense and discomfort. Our philosophy remains to do the job correctly the first time, and thereby minimize future problems. Lawrence delivered on all fronts. We feel that they offer great value overall, and we would use them without hesitation in the future. We did sign up for the service contract for 12 years. We want our systems to be only serviced by people who installed the system, are Mitsubishi certified, and have all of the records from our installation.

On the second to last day of my three week stay, their hot water heater sprung a leak. To make matters worse, this was Saturday and I was leaving for Los Angeles at 3 AM Monday morning. My parents were panicking. I got on Yelp and found three plumbers to come out that day and give us an estimate for replacing it. The first estimate was a bit steeper than we hoped. The second estimate (from GEM) was outrageous --almost double the price of the first estimate. My parents were freaking out. Then Brandon from Service Professionals (Somerset) arrived. He took one look at my parents' water heater and said how new it looked and that it should still be under warranty. (The other plumbers hadn't noticed this and my parents didn't remember that they got it only 3 years ago). Brandon went on to explain that because it was probably still under warranty, he would be able to take it out, bring in and get it replaced for much less. He said he could do the switch out with the warranty replacement first thing Monday. OMG! I had to leave my parents' water heater replacement job in a stranger's care. My dad is 89 years old and my mom is 84. To say that it would be easy to take advantage of them is an understatement. I couldn't sleep wondering if I had chosen the right plumber for the job. I just finished one of my bi-weekly Skype visits with the folks. They are thrilled with the beautiful work that Brandon did. What a relief! Brandon did exactly what he said he would do. He pulled out the old water heater, brought it in, got it replaced under warranty and installed the replacement for the price that he quoted. I am so grateful!
