She was quite knowledgeable and knew her menu well. She started us off with the Waygu Wellington Poptarts. The flaky crust that covered the melt in your mouth beef was extraordinaire. For my entree, I had the Blackened Salmon on arugula. This was combined with shaved almonds, strawberries, avocado, and blue cheese! Ever hear someone get excited about a salad? Yes it was that good. Husband had the Sous Vide half chicken with his coveted homemade mashed potatoes and carrots. My husband, the chef was not disappointed. And no meal is complete in his book without dessert. The entrees took a while, in the meantime, they didn't bother refreshing our water or even give us more bread to help bide the time. Throughout the whole time, she kept passing our table, didn't even bother to glance or check in, honestly I felt like she intentionally tried not to catch our eye. Even when we asked the person who delivered part of our meal if we could have more water, we didn't get it until we were half way done with our entrees. After we finished our entrees, she finally came back and asked about dessert, I gave her an eye roll and a tone and she finally felt apologetic. She explained there were only 3 of them for the entire restaurant. Had she bothered to explain right from the get go and checked in once in a while, I would have been more accommodating. But simply ignoring us and providing poor service was not an excuse. I couldn't even enjoy the food because the service was that bad. Still left 17% since I normally leave 20-22%. I will NOT come back, Turf Room underwhelming at best.
