The Cioppino (Best that I have to date!)

This place was packed but the noise level was surprisingly very low. The atmosphere was very cool and the service was great. Our server Justin was a great guy. Keep his distance but was available when we needed him. He kept us informed and made us feel at home. All the food was fresh and the portions were perfect. We normally have to do take home but here we ate everything. This place is alittle pricey but the quality of the food and drinks is next to none. So well worth it especially if it a special occasion. Will definitely return as we enjoy good seafood and drinks.

Big space inside with nice decoration. Highly recommend reservations for big parties or going on peak time. Serving was ok. They were polite but needed to improve in service and familarities with menu. Vegetarian going to fish restaurant is unusual, but I like hardware, so I wanted to give this one a try. Limited Vegetarian option and in pasta they can remove meat but can not substitute with anything. So it's not worth paying a high price for it. Need to work for vegetarian options if you want to target those audience Old fashioned drink - 4.5/5 Mistake non alcoholic drinks- 5/5 - not super sweet and very light and refreshing Fava bean - 5/5 - Buttery bean dish, appetizer size must have. Foccasia bread - 4/5 - 3 sticks of bread fluffy and soft. Sauce was ok. Need a little more seasoning. Gnocchi pasts -5/5 - small portion but tasty. Baby zuchnii - 4.5/5 - as there was no other main dish we went with this side. But really tasty.

Went to Fortunato for the first time on a Monday night 12/22/25. We had a reservation and were sat right away. Decor and environment was very nice. It was fairly busy and all of the dishes coming out looked very good. Our server was very nice and helped us decide what to order. We ordered a peach bellini (all crafted drinks are $15), the linguini aragosta (creamy lobster pasta), the black sable (white fish with asparagus and potatoes) and our waitress asked if we would like breadsticks with our pasta and we said yes. Linguini Aragosta was very good and the breadsticks were fresh out of the oven. Highly recommend the Black Sable. So flavorful, light and fresh, but very filling. Our bill was $102 and our waitress gave us free shortbread cookies with our bill. I would definitely go back.

First time here! Sat at the bar and we ordered pizza oysters and salad. The food was littterly so good I would go back in a heart beat. Only thing I'd change is they had blue cheese stuffed olives vs provolone stuffed olives but tbh it was still 10/10.

On track to try every sandwich they offer... absolutely DELICIOUS!!!!! Best Italian sandwich in the area.

Pistachio Cheesecake. The wife said it needed a side of whipped cream. Lol.

Service was phenomenal and the food was very good. We were disappointed in the dessert and the meal was a bit pricey for North Aurora.

The fire pit in the middle of the restaurant and the fireplace in the porch-like portion are a vibe. I had the hummus trio, which had some really innovative and delicious flavors (a black bean option, a chipotle option, and some sort of balsamic thing I can't remember the name of but was my favorite). The pita bread they served it with was tasty. Everything else in our group looked delicious, too. They had been here several time and they love it. I'm not out this way very often (or ever), but if I were I would definitely come back.

Our waitress was so wonderful to start, she was attentive and offered some suggestions. We were taking some time to catch up, but we did order a few appetizers. This is when things took a strange turn... Our entrees started coming out, but the guys running the food didn't make any effort to clear our table or get boxes for our appetizer leftovers. So we had no choice but to put our empty plates on the table next to us - there truly wasn't any room and one guy giggled when I asked if he would take our appetizer plates. Our waitress came by shortly after and I said we asked for boxes and our plates to be cleared so we had room. She said she'd take care of it, which she did. After that, she was much less attentive. Finally, when it came to dessert... I asked for a recommendation, but unfortunately I was the only one who wanted a dessert at my table. I asked about taking it home, she told me the mason jar dessert couldn't be taken home and the others wouldn't last. I said okay forget it then. So no dessert was had and we were all VERY confused why our dinner went from stellar service to straight down the toilet. At least the food was good... I might stick to Hardware. It's a much more pleasant experience there.

On my…read morevisit here, I had the opportunity to try two dishes off the shareables menu and was super impressed with both of them. Service was also quick and friendly throughout the entire meal. The Birria egg rolls were a bit on the smaller side but made a big impression with its preparation. I've never had birria wrapped in anything as crispy as the wonton wrapper this was wrapped in. The birria was flavorful while being tender and not being too salty. The white cheddar and chihuahua cheese added a small amount of extra saltiness and a bit more fat, which matched well with the chipotle aiola. The duck poutine was incredibly flavorful, while sitting on the edge of potentially being too bold. The fries were incredibly crispy though there was quite a bit of gravy on the dish and the white cheddar cheese curds did a great job of keeping the entire dish hot throughout the meal, while adding a little bit of extra flavor. The bacon and onion added some umami though it almost made the dish a bit too salty and the duck confit added a nice protein element. Overall a little pricey, but given the more unique menu and quality of both the flavors and textures, it's worth the premium. The food here is definitely memorable and in line with excellent options available in Geneva.

Recently I tried the Ribeye (Medium Rare) and Mac and cheese for a very patriotic meal before the 4th of July. I really like the chimichurri sauce, hot tip - add a little to your Mac and cheese. So delicious. I'd say the steak could have used a little more of a crust but overall was still really yummy. The service is always wonderful, tonight Poncho was working and he always remembers my drink and makes my friends feel welcome. If you haven't been before the ambiance is really great. Absolutely fantastic! I originally didn't think much of this place when checking out the menu…read moreonline because the food choices didn't look super interesting and the prices were a bit on the lower side. I was pleasantly surprised to see that I was completely wrong --- the portions are enormous, the textures are great, the flavors are incredible, and everything I tried was done very well. This is on top of fast friendly service, and a very unique interior. I went here with 3 friends and would absolutely love to come back again soon with even more. As I mentioned, the food here is just awesome. It's clear how much care is put into every single dish with the great presentation, attention to small details, and refined product. I highly recommend the tuna poke, maybe one of the best versions I've ever had of this dish. This has plenty of fish on top of extremely crispy wonton chips. The mix of creamy avocado puree, jalapeno salsa, honey wasabi, and sriracha aioli is incredible. This reminds me of the bold flavor combinations at Girl and the Goat at a lower price point. The bang bang shrimp was another winner with super crispy tempura shrimp served with a delicious sweet chili sauce and cabbage slaw. For anyone who's ever had this dish at Bonefish Grill, you'll be thrilled with this version as well which comes with a very generous amount of shrimp. The burgers were also on point -- both enormous in size and full of flavor in every layer. In addition to perfectly cooked patties (this was great for both the beef and bison I tried), I was pleased that all the components of the burger were very flavorful and well done. That is, the brioche bread was slightly toasted inside, the pickles had just the right level of acidity and texture, the pork belly was super flavorful in itself and cooked great without making the dish feel too fatty, the egg was slightly runny, and the vegetables were all super fresh. Unsurprisingly, their sides were prepared to perfection as well -- with crunchy onion rings and super tasty fries. Overall, this restaurant is worth a special trip and I aim to try every single starter they make soon. It's not often that I'll be thinking about a restaurant long after dining there but the excellence displayed here has left a lasting impression both with myself and my friends that dined here. The excellent meal here definitely made for a very memorable birthday dinner for the party.

I had some of their cajun pasta and calamari, both were quite small serving sizes for their price. The pasta had nothing cajun about it and served on a big plate to look bigger than it is, far too big for the small table! I've seen the sign for Sea Shack from Route 59 and finally got to try it when my sister was visiting Naperville. I called in an order and it was ready in 15 minutes. What we ordered for 3 adults: 1 lb peeled shrimp, mild, + corn + potatoes 1 lb black mussels, mild, + corn + potatoes 1 lb clams, mild 1 corn on the side 1 sausage on the side onion rings chicken tenders and fries 2 orders of rice We had plenty of food and enough for leftovers. My favorite part might be the cajun butter sauce with white rice... even more than the seafood. I love white rice with basically any sauce. The food was fresh, the sauce was mild as requested, still flavorful and not too salty. If you order the clams on its own, no sides, the bag might seem a little small but that's just because the clam meat is so small. For takeout, your seafood will come double bagged so it was leak proof. We decided to empty the bags into bowls since we were doing family style, and it was a hearty meal. I can't comment on the ambiance since it was a takeout order, but we enjoyed our food. We'll be back!
