This place I've been SO EXCITED to try because I'd pass it on the way to work and it was good but not great? I think living in Cali my whole life has definitely set high standards for Mexican food The horchata was very yummy-needed a LITTLE more sweetness BUT I devoured that! So many choices on the menu! I ended up going with the cheese enchiladas which I thought again were good, not great. The texture of the tortilla I thought would be better with corn tortillas? Just thicker and better tasting. Rice and beans were an extra $2.50 to add on.The portions for the meal are big so it's worth the money if you're hungry! They give you complimentary chips and salsa:) The elote (Mexican corn) I think could definitely use Parmesan cheese on top of it because it was really juicy. The waitress was very attentive and polite! So a decent place to eat if you're in Sevierville but not amazing

Pricey for a mediocre food. Service was not bad. The server checked on us from time to time. Ambiance is inviting and family friendly just a little on the crowded side since they maximize the space with sitting areas. Sorry, but I wouldn't come back for the price for sure. We've had way better Mexican food for an affordable price and memorable meals. The Elotes were good though! Horchata, rice and beans are definitely a thumbs down.

Overpriced food. Nothing a la carte offered. The decor was neat for a Mexican restaurant. Would not go back.

This Floridian tourist and her party of four to Muchacho Alegre tonight on the recommendation of my sister-in-law. She wasn't lying about how good the food is. We started with an order of guacamole, which I forgot to take a picture of, and which was excellent. It was chunky and had just the right amount of cilantro, etc. The 4 entries (pictured below and in order) were Carne Asado, enchiladas, grilled shrimp chimichanga and steak flautas. All four of us enjoyed our meals. The ingredients were fresh and tasty and serving sizes were ample. The prices were very reasonable. I would recommend this Mexican Restaurant to locals and tourists alike.

We were hoping for a restaurant with a dog friendly patio and they welcomed our guy with open arms and offered to bring him water but we brought our own in his bowl. The patio is very festive and the umbrellas made it completely shaded. Our server came right out with chips and salsa. The chips were hot and fresh and very crunchy. She took our drink order. My husband ordered unsweetened tea. It was fresh brewed. We weren't starving so we ordered the Loaded Nachos. They were delicious with jalapeños, cheese, ground beef, refried beans, guacamole and lettuce. We ordered them without sour cream. You can sub the beef for other meats if you prefer. We dug in as soon as they got to the table and I almost forgot to take a picture. We will definitely be back. The meal was delicious and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. They checked on us often. Our server, Sabrina H. was excellent!

a local family recommended it, so we thought we'd give it a shot! We had a big group and our server was super sweet. She brought out a mountain of chips and salsa, which was a great start. We ordered a few different things. The steak and shrimp was... interesting. Instead of the usual skirt steak you find at most Mexican places, it was a really thin, dry piece of grilled meat, and the shrimp were overcooked. And the tortillas? Oof, not great. Seriously, how can a Mexican restaurant have less than stellar tortillas?! We also got the carne asada same dry meat, sadly, no shrimp this time and some tacos. You can only order tacos in sets of three, and they all come with the same filling,no mix and matching allowed. And it wasn't served like a traditional taco dinner, felt a little overpriced for what we got. The steak tacos were skimpy on the meat and over seasoned, almost burnt. The al pastor tacos were better, mostly because of the pineapple the tortillas were still a let down, though! Our server noticed I hadn't touched my tacos and asked if everything was okay. My wife voiced our concerns, and then the manager came over and chatted with us. I told her honestly what we thought, and that I wasn't looking for anything free, just wanted to pay for what we ordered, even if we didn't eat it all. We did, and it's fine, but honestly, I wouldn't exactly call the food "authentic Mexican." Just thought I'd share our experience!

I'm pretty hesitant to return in the near future after today's visit... I had the pleasure of eating here days after the grand opening. I tried the guacamole, taco salad, churros, margaritas and left feeling so impressed by the food and service! Prior to posting a review, I wanted a few more visits under my belt. I've returned twice during lunch and twice during dinner. While service has been just as good as my first visit, the food has been pretty underwhelming during my last three. From the appetizers to my entrees, everything seems to be a bit bland. The guacamole has lost its fresh taste; it's been super cold the last two times, way too heavy on the lime last time but nearly flavorless this time. The meat doesn't seem to be seasoned enough in any of the entrees I've tried. I'm not someone who needs a ton of intricate flavors or seasoning to be impressed, but it seems to be lacking quite a bit in that area. The drinks have been great consistently. I don't find them to be strong, but they are definitely very tasty! My servers are always very attentive and food comes out in a timely manner. Even when I reluctantly provided feedback today, it was received so well! I love supporting the local businesses here and I really do enjoy the staff here, so I'm writing this in hopes that the food quality will return to the way it was when they first got started! I'm hesitant to return with there being so many other good and reliable options in the area, but I think this place has great potential!

I went for dinner tonight and thought this restaurant was a little better than average. I got the quesa-birria tacos. I gave my order to the server and had just asked for water to drink. After you're a few minutes, another server came over and she was taking the place of the original server who was now behind the bar. I had to reorder my food which wasn't a huge deal but I'm not sure why the first server hadn't put the order in. A third person brought my food over then the first server returned to apologize for the delay and ask if everything was ok. The plate was crazy hot, to the point I couldn't touch it to move it closer. The food on the plate was less hot than the plate itself. The refried beans were way too thin, almost runny. The meat in the taco was good and tender but a bit bland. There was an excessive amount of cilantro which overtook the flavor. I also found the consommé and tacos slightly bit greasy. I found the price a bit expensive for the amount food. $23 with tip for 3 tacos, even with beans and rice, and only water, seems high for this type of restaurant. Overall, it wasn't an awful experience and the food was decent. It just wasn't amazing to where I'm craving to go back soon.

The loaded tots with cheese, bacon, chives and hot sauce was not too spicy and was big enough to share with four people. We originally sat a table close to the bowling lanes but moved to the bar to try to get away from the noisy bowling alley. The prices for the food and drinks were pretty reasonable.

We were greeted and seated promptly in a lovely little alcove near their patio, the perfect spot for old friends catching up. Our server, Olivia, was phenomenal, offering insight and recommendations into their seasonal menu items. We started with cocktails and appetizers. We loved the Roasted Beet Salad and Crab Bisque. Deee-licious! We then moved on to our entrees: Filet mignon (prepared Medium) w/caramelized onions & garlic mashed potatoes. The filets were seasoned and cooked perfectly - melt in your mouth, oh soooo good! Prime rib steak sandwich with caramelized onions & melt cheese. Opted for a side of grilled zucchini instead of fries. Also a big hit with our friend. I chose the night's feature dish of halibut and couscous. Nicely prepared and delicious. Though we didn't have room for dessert, once Olivia brought the dessert tray by, we quickly made room! My husband chose the Blueberry Bread Pudding. Of course I had to taste! I'm typically am not a fan of bread puddings due to being heavy and somewhat gummy! This one was absolutely light, and yummy allowing the blueberries to shine. Our friends shared the NY cheesecake with fresh strawberries. Also, light, fluffy and delicious! I chose the key lime pie with toasted coconut sprinkled on top. Incredibly good with light tartness though I prefer more tart. Still, it ranks up there as one of the best I've found. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the cocktails, food, ambiance, decor, and our server, Olivia. Ample portions, reasonable/comparable pricing, and delicious/creative menu. Bravo, Seasons 101! Bravo!! Maybe "pet tolerant", but not "friendly": - hostess was visibly & audibly afraid of dogs. We have two sweet chocolate labs, not exactly menacing creatures. Why in the world would you send a dog-fearing employee to get us seated? - we expected an offer of a water bowl for our pups. Nope. Had to find a server and ask for one. - the outdoor area we sat at is enclosed & gated. A door separates this outdoor area from the inside dining room. In spite of this, 10 minutes after being seated, a separate employee came out and simply said "do yall have leashes?" 1- of course we do, you saw us walk them in. 2- no greeting or "hey, I'm blah blah"... cold & impersonal. 3- why bother with the cost of a gated enclosure if pets have to be leashed anyway? We've been to many pet-friendly restaurants. You are NOT pet-friendly. You happily took our money for the meal, and added a 20% gratuity yourselves (which was not earned btw), but you barely did enough to accommodate our pups, let alone be considered "friendly". We didn't feel they were welcome, and certainly no "friendly" environment experienced. We won't be back. See how Calhouns defines "pet friendly". Y'all might learn something. To diners with pups: You want "pet friendly"? Skip this place.

As soon as we walked into this location, we were greeted by a super friendly young lady who had a smile on her face. We went around 1 PM and there were about five people in front of us in line. But the line went quick and in less than five minutes, we were at the counter and ready to order. Of course we got the viral cinnamon bread and was on our way. There is no place to sit so we got back into our vehicle and dug right in. In my opinion, it is a little pricey at approximately $15 for a loaf of bread, but when on vacation, we think it's fun to try different things. Before opening the box, you could feel how warm and fresh this bread is. As soon as you open the box, you get this wonderful aroma of a sweet cinnamon bread. There is a small container of icing sitting on top of the bread. Before leaving the parking lot, we each tore off a piece of bread and dip it into the icing. This is both good and bad at the same time. The warm bread and gooey icing was so incredibly good, it made me want to go back for more and more until the entire loaf was gone. The bad thing was was that the cinnamon crumble bits wanted to fall off as soon as you touch the bread and it got all over myself and my vehicle. I guess that's not really a bad thing lol. There are some that say that this bread is better than the cinnamon bread from Dollywood, I would leave it up to you to make that decision. The only reason this did not get a five star was because I did feel that it was slightly overpriced in my opinion.
