Their, father was in the plumbing business back in the fifties, and very early sixties. He operated probably, the best plumbing business within the area, and at the same time, he trained his sons to follow within his own foot steps. His sons took over their own businesses after the passing of their father. I called this company for some much needed services,as my home drainage system had completely failed, and was clogged, and backing up inside my home. The fine lady, whom I experienced the great pleasure of speaking with was the most helpful. She informed completely as to their busy schedule, while taking my order request. She informed me of the approximate time their representative would be at my home, and kept me posted, as they were a day or so behind within their work. I agreed to remain in line for my much needed work to be completed. Upon my time for their super fine service, I received a phone call informing of the fact their very confident worker was on his way to my place. Upon his arrival,as agreed upon, he began to inspect my complicated job requirements, and began to unload his super powerful routing machine. It was much more powerful, less than my very own, and some what powerful unit, which proved it could not perform the task at hand. This fine highly trained, and very pleasant technician hook up his super over powerful machine, and began working. It required his continuous working, for a period of two hours of hard work, in order, to clean out my main line, as it has some tree roots, and additional garbage stopping up the drain piping, growing within it. This, highly skilled, and very fine person, whom I had the great pleasure of discussing some of the many well known rip off artists, whom were serving within the heating, air conditioning, and plumbing business within our county. This great highly skilled worker got down, and got with the titty greedy work at hand, and performed for me a truly great experience, as I witnessed his hard difficult task, which he took full charge off this nasty, and difficult task. Far too many of them are serving only as percentage sales persons, only out to sell some new product, as they are not skilled at making any required service task. However, they excel at ripping off their customers with new sales offers, which are not need, or required in most cases. This wonderful workman, only charged me some over $200.00 for his wonderful services, so I provided him with a tasty bonus. I cannot recommend this great company, and their highly skilled workmen enough. highly enough. When, ever I require, any plumbing tasks to be done, I truly do know, whom to call. I had a lot of projects, one being a split a/c unit, so I paid him a deposit so he could get that ordered. I was fine with all of this. However, he never showed up when he said he would. He gave me the estimate in July but has never returned to my house to do any project. All of our correspondences have been through text messaging. He would say he would be at my house on a certain day/time but then he would not show or call or text to say why. I would have to initiate when he would be there. I have repeatedly asked for a refund of the deposit and have been more than accommodating to his situation; however, this is not a way to run a business or treat a person. I am now forced to take him to small claims court.

Randal Collier at Rocket City Home Repair:…read moreI had hired Randal to do some small jobs around my house previously, so when he learned I was planning to have my house painted and offered to give me a quote on it, I was happy to accept. His price was lowest of the bids I received and I hired him for the job. Almost immediately I started regretting it. After paying him $1000 up front to purchase paint and supplies, he then no showed for several days. Eventually he responded to my texts and said he had run out of money to purchase a paint sprayer and was working other jobs to get enough money for that. Supplies for this job wouldn't have cost anywhere near the $1000 I paid him. He had previously told me he had a paint sprayer and had painted at least one other house before. After work finally began it became very obvious that he did not know what he was doing. I repeatedly told him to arrive in the early mornings to paint as the daily temps were almost 100 degrees each day. He agreed but not once did he ever start work early - many days did not even arrive until afternoon. Then he wanted another $1000 because he didn't buy enough paint in the beginning and had no money to purchase more. At this point the painting was about 1/2 - 2/3 finished and wouldn't take more than 2 or 3 gallons of paint. I refused initially but since the job was taking so long, gave him another $500. He became upset on more than one occasion, raising his voice and arguing with me. Then since I didn't give him the entire $1000 he wanted, he did not speak to me at all and I never knew when he would show up to work. It took about 3 weeks for him to do this job when everyone else who bid told me they would do it in 3 days. Also, he finished in the evening when I couldn't do a thorough check on his work. I even paid him extra because he was clearly in over his head and frustrated. The following day I found several problems with the paint job he did, including missing spots and paint overspray on my fence. Contacted him again and he said he would return to fix - twice he said he'd be here and never showed up. I have given him every opportunity to make this job right. I DO NOT RECOMMEND HIRING HIM!
