I've worked with them for a while now, but I feel with this incident only proved my point. They didn't fulfill their promise by providing compassionate care and a trusted professional. My doggie, Benny is known to resource guard his pen, which was communicated and discussed on how to handle it. (So I thought). Each time I was provided by a "trusted" professional they had no experience with small dogs or dogs who resource guard, (per my conversations with each sitter), which per their company they claim to match sitters that work best with each pet. Personally, I feel their sitters are not trained and have no experience with all dogs especially this last sitter Brian. He didn't listen, I was a little uncomfortable due to the fact they placed me with him last minute and didn't tell me the other sitter canceled until days that I had to leave the state (last sitter still has my key card smh), so I had no choice. I get it most of these sitters are doing this for a side hustle and I understand safety b/c I don't want anyone to get hurt. But a sitter with resource guarding experience should have been placed with Benny. Each sitter I have told them about Benny's resource guarding and each time they disregarded what I say and tell them he's too aggressive with his pen, which I have already discussed with them about so I don't understand why these sitters would be placed with us. In addition, when I spoke with you all, I was told after the 2nd or 3rd sitter he was doing that not knowing it until it started getting worse. You stated, "they probably didn't tell you because they didn't want to worry you" No transparency at all, that should have been told to me at the very beginning so it could have been fixed. Upon further review via video, the sitter (Brian) did not have experience and mishandled my baby. Picking him up from his pen knowing I told you how he is with it and him almost getting dropped (knowing I told him how to walk him into his pen, he chose not to listen) followed by him using gloves to handle him, what kind of person does that? This is Benny's first time meeting this man and he is doing that, when you meet anyone you have to give them time to warm up to you, which he did not do. There was no care from that man and Shawna didn't care either when I expressed my feelings. I should make a report for y'all's negligence knowing I'm out of town and y'all can't take care of him. But it's ok. As Shawna stated "we have no sitters" I wonder what she would have done if I didn't have anyone to stop by? Just cruel and complete bs. Do better. If y'all were so trained you should've stepped in to care for my baby but you didn't. I feel I've been loyal and given y'all my hard earned money and this is how y'all treat Benny? I didn't see any aggression when my friend stopped by per the picture. Luckily I had my friend come by and take care of my dog but if it wasn't for her and my faith in God coming through Benny would have been without food, water and a place to relieve himself for a day in a half while I'm out of town. Again Complete bs, never again! The invoice will be paid as soooon as I get back to Charlotte!

My only hesitation for pushing to five stars is scheduling. I had to call five times across three days before someone actually answered the phone. There was a voicemail option. I suppose they are so busy which is a good sign though. Next time I'll make my next appointment while I am still there.

When I interviewed them, they said they would do what was on the list and then sit quietly for 30 minutes and read a book. I suggested they could turn the TV on and they literally said no they did not want to disturb the cats, and sitting quietly would be best for the cats. I got anything but! The person that came completely disrupted the household. First, I had a 6 foot screen that sectioned off a part of the house that I did not want them going through - she literally moved the screen to walk throughout that part of the house!! That was an immediate violation of privacy. Next, she took it upon herself to move my garbage pail out for garbage day. I never asked her to do this, because I can get fined by the HOA for having the pails out overnight. Plus, I did not want her walking through the garage either! Again, another area of the house that should have been kept private. She also went out the back door to put feed in the birdfeeder. This was something she did ask about in the chat, and I was with friends and on reflex I said yes. I immediately regretted saying yes as I realized the cats would be disturbed and also might get out. Honestly, I didn't need that conversation when I was on vacation. Birds are wild and should be fine. It was just way too much. When I returned home, I saw that she moved all of the cat toys to make decorations. Cats are very sensitive to smell. I had a very simple list: change the water, food, and add one cup of litter to the litter robot. Otherwise, I liked their approach to sit quietly to see whether my shy cats might come out. Moving around the house, opening all the doors, had to be disruptive for the cats. I also was extremely worried that one of my cats might slip out the door. She also changed the litter in the litter robot drawer. Again, this was not on her list to do. Now I had to worry about whether she put it back together again correctly, Ironically, she sent me a picture of the litter box, and I noticed that the sand was considerably below the fill line. When I asked about it, she said that she forgot to add litter that day.‍‍ In the end, instead of just coming in the front door and leaving by the front door, she roamed around the entire house, and went through every entry in the house. I was stressed and distressed as to whether things were properly locked, whether a cat would slip out from one or the doors, and I hated the fact that from my cats' perspective, she was everywhere. Finally, they take your key and make a copy of it and keep it. I am so extremely not comfortable with this. Yes, they told me at the interview, but I didn't realize how much it distressed me. So I had to spend the money to get my locks changed. When I provided her this feedback, she said that clients liked that she took initiative and shut down my account. So this review is written for those people that would prefer to have a cat sitter come and just be there for 30 minutes to reassure your cats they are not alone. That's what they told me they would do. If you like somebody to roam around and act on their own initiative in your home, then the service is perfect. I also want to emphasize that nothing was taken and they did an excellent job in posting pictures on the app. For me, it was just that the initiative was way too much.

Our first board booking had a pretty serious error occur and the owner addressed and corrected the issue quickly and professionally, mistakes can happen so it was nice to see they care and were happy to resolve the issue and didn't minimize my concerns. Since then I've boarded my dogs there several other times with no issue and lovely experiences. My pups are always happy and safe and it's nice to have somewhere I feel that way about for them. The prices are also really affordable. I love how they post pictures and I get to see my dogs and know they're making friends!
