Monique is by far one of the craziest people I have ever met in my life! She's also one hell of a dog groomer! She is by far one of the most reasonably priced! I bring my mini Goldendoodle Korra to her, and she always does a fantastic job! Korra always comes home looking like a little cutie in her little bows and the cutest handkerchiefs! If I have one tiny beef, sometimes it takes a very long time to finish your pet. She's in great demand, so try to book as early as you can, but remember, if you don't want your dog there all day, try to get the first few appointments! read more

I just picked up my pup from Muddy Paws, and she looks great! This is definitely a place that knows what they're doing with a haircut. My pup doesn't need a full blown haircut like some dogs, but her hair gets overgrown and rough around the edges all over. I can clean her up a bit, but she needed more than I could offer. Immediately upon walking in the owner knew what I wanted, just by looking at her, before I said anything. And the product is exactly what I wanted. They were friendly and genuinely cared about the pups. The place itself is not as big or fancy as some other places I've gone, but don't let that fool you. The physical building does not reflect the level of skill. They do a really nice job. They were also very friendly. One note to the owner: Might want to consider better signage outside, both for parking (they have a nice sized off-street parking area) and the shop itself. This was my first time visiting you, and it took me a few trips around the block to realize where you were (right on the corner of St. Phillip and abroad, in case it's useful for others). Needed to find a groomer ASAP because I just got my family dog back after my sisters passing. The ladies at Muddy Paws made room for him to get in for a bath and haircut. Jerry has a history anxiety with groomers, as he came to the US after being abandoned at a groomer in Mexico. I was worried he'd be anxious, given he just arrived in town yesterday, but given how overgrown he was asking with how dirty he was and the fact that it's August, anxiety was the least of his worries. Flash foward a few hours to when I picked him up... he was happy, well loved, looks like a new dog, and was in no hurry to get out of there at the end of his service. He's only had one other groomer he liked so much, and I couldn't be more pleased at how he looks and clearly feels. Thank you, Muddy Paws! You've got a huge fan in us! read more

This place doesn't take appointments and when I bring my dog in at 9 AM IN THE MORNING, I call to "check in" at 3:45 PM IN THE AFTERNOON and they are just now asking me how I want my dog trimmed. Meaning they haven't even looked at my dog yet. Not recommending or bringing my dog back. Please take appointments. read more

My dog loved this place.. they gave him the best haircut he ever had and he was very comfortable in the building.

She took me fast for a suddenly stinky dog, but neither she, nor her assistant, nor another customer inside were wearing masks, right as covid numbers are starting to spike again. Smh. Also - she sprayed an unnecessary after wash perfume so cheap and nasty after the wash that I got a headache in my car even with the windows open on the way home. Dogs have incredibly sensitive noses, it must have been hell for her. I wiped her down with wet rags when I got home. I won't be back. read more

Very disappointed in my experience with this groomer. She threatened to shave our pom multiple times regardless of us telling her not too. He has a double coat and it's normal for it to feel some what tangled. I even told her upon drop off this to not cut his hair and that we had a made an appointment for him to have a conditioning treatment to get rid of existing tangles/mattes. None of the Mattes she ever mentioned were visible nor did we ever find them when brushing him at home. If you shave a Pomeranians coat it NEVER grows back the same. At this point i'm not sure if she doesn't know what she's doing or if she chooses to not follow directions that the owner gives but it's ridiculous. I do not recommend you take your dog to this establishment. A lot of aggressive dogs are always in the building and the dogs are not properly separated to ensure your pup is safe. We were loyal clients but this is the final straw and we will never be returning. Not to mention the fact that she had us drop off at 8AM and our dogs weren't ready til 9:30 at night. read more

UNPROFESSIONAL & DISRESPECTFUL. This place is horrendous! Do not bring your dog here. I had an appointment to have my dog groomed on Monday 7/27/20 at 8:00 AM (which I scheduled the Tuesday prior). When I arrived for my appointment at 7:40 AM (Yes I'm an early bird) I noticed that the building had been painted and had no signs or insignia. I wondered if the business had moved so I called the business. The voice message said, "We are closed for Covid and will reopen the day after the restrictions are lifted. You can leave a message but no one will be here to checking the messages". I thought to myself, "surely they just neglected to change their answering machine message" and left a message. I stayed in my van in front of the business and waited with my dog. At 7:55 a woman who obviously saw me arrived with her Yorkie got out of her car and waited at the front door (basically jumping in front of me in line). At 8:07 the owner showed up and I got out of my car and asked her if they were going to be open. She gave me a dirty look with no response so I said, "your answering machine says that you are closed for Covid." She said, "well call back in 45 minutes and it will say something different!" I said, "well, I have an 8:00 appointment". She looked at me and the woman with the yorkie, opened the door, let herself in and said, "well, give me a few minutes", (closing the door behind herself. As I went back to my van disgusted with the unprofessional behavior and business practices I thought to myself, "I waited for this appointment and it's hard to get an appointment during this pandemic so I'll wait." 10 minutes later as the woman with the yorkie paced in front of the door I realized that no one deserves such disrespectful treatment from ANY business anywhere. I sat in my van for the next 7 minutes making an appointment at a different groomer. As I drove off I noted that the business owner had still neglected to return to open there door (27 minutes after my appointment time). I WILL NEVER TAKE MY DOG TO THIS GROOMER AGAIN! I suggest that if you want professional service and decent treatment from a business DO NOT patronize this shoddy groomer! read more

Unreliable. Scheduled an 8am appointment only to show up and find she's closed for the week and didn't communicate with her clients....

Went to muddy paws about three months ago everything was fine payed with debit card (I was told the cost was 47.00 dollars) but when I got in my car and look at my Receipt she took 52.00 dollars call and ask her why she said my dog was Capitated ok I let that go so I decided to give her another try today 1/30/21 ask how much again lady told me 47.00 dollars ( if the dog is not Maddie ok she wasn't) so left her there so I go to pick her up she started saying how bad she was and she Scratch her and showed me a little scratch on her hand so I ask how much and another lady told me 67.00 dollars and I ask for what then she went on and on about the scratch ( BUT I THOUGHT THAT COME WITH THE JOB‍‍) so now I wondering how many customers she told that story to about there dog the crazy part she was so busy trying to sell me the story at the end she said her nails was not long wow really BUT ITS OK THAT WAS HER LAST TIME GOING THERE read more
