They ignorantly put orange antifreeze into my 1998 F-150--any amateur knows that's a death sentence for an older engine. By mixing the wrong chemicals, they turned my coolant into sludge and completely destroyed my motor. ​This place is unprofessional, negligent, and clearly staffed by people who don't know the basics of their own trade. They essentially totaled my truck through pure laziness and stupidity. If you value your vehicle or your bank account, stay as far away from this shop as possible. 1 star only because 0 was not available. Total waste of time. After 4 days, they had not even looked at my truck. Older truck but they said it was a popular Toyota model/engine and would work on it. After 4 days of no activity, Service Manager said they took it as a courtesy being older, when I did not ask for courtesy or a favor only service paid for in cash. Don't waste your time!! read more

DO NOT GO TO MUELLERS!!! THEY WILL BLEED YOU FOR ALL YOUR WORTH, BREAK YOUR CAR WORSE THEN WHEN YOU BROUGHT IT IN, THEN TELL YOU THERE IS NOTHING ELSE THEY CAN DO. THEY ARE A SCAM -CONSIDERING LEGAL RECOURSE- I do not recommend, will not ever recommend to anyone, will warn everyone I meet about not going here. At first I was told they were a decent shop, they were close to where I lived and was told they had reasonable rates. Took my car in the first time, told them the most likely culprit was a fuel pump issue. They said that they would do the work, did a bunch of minor repairs like wiring and fuel lines that didn't actually need to be done and said that should fix the issue. They charged me over 5,000$ for the work, forcing me to take out a snap finance loan. I would have been happy to have made that payment whatever, except the issue persisted. I took it in again a few weeks later, told them for sure this time the issue was the fuel pump. They apologized, charged me 100$ for yet more work that wasn't necessary and said that should do it. Someone had written "Karen" on my window,but whatever, so long as the job got done I didn't care about the unprofessionalism. Not even three days later the issue came back, almost causing me to lose control of the vehicle on the highway with MY FAMILY IN THE CAR. I took it back in, told them this was ridiculous, and that they never fixed the problem I was breaking my bank to get done. They said that they would do the work if I paid them another 600$, and at this point I had already paid way more then what I bought the damn thing for, and it was either fix the car or lose my apartment, so I told them they should have fixed the issue and they needed to make things right. The dude at the front desk was the ONLY ONE who even made an attempt to help at all, and gave me the part number I needed because they said there was nothing they could do unless I paid them. When he gave me the part number he told me "Not to say anything to anyone about the lack of service." And at this point as much as I dont want to get him in trouble, they REALLY fucked me over. I have been debating taking them to court, and with how many issues that have come up, and how much more work I have had to put into it since then due to their negligence and lack of ability to fix the issue they were more then overpaid to do, am now looking into legal representation for it. read more

I would never recommend Mueller's. My car was NOT even worth the work they said needed done. Paid over 2000 dollars and was told I needed an additional 2000 more work. My car started doing the same thing within a month. Had it towed to different shop where a diagnostic test was ran, I was told at that time. All the damage that was going on in undercarriage, and the shop where my car was said. "They should have told me my car wasn't worth all the money that needs to get fixed. " Needless to say . Lost over 2000 on work that was done on it. The axle broke in 2 months time. I would not recommend the shop. Overpriced. I looked to see if they had a profile with BBB. I recently went to Mueller's Auto to have major work done on my 2003 Toyota Avalon. I knew what the problem was, and Mueller's confirmed it. Very honest and upfront about the project; it was a complete engine replacement. I was appreciative of their willingness to explain everything involved in easily understood terms. They prepared an estimate, explained the entire process and gave me a two-week time frame to complete the job. They finished everything 1 week ahead of schedule and within $25 of the estimated budget. I'm very happy with the result and would not trust anyone else with my car. read more

In one word incompetent. They had me Jeep for over 3 weeks and after charging over $1000 they couldn't tell me what the problem was only that they got the symptoms to "not replicate" They told me to bring it back if the problem returned. Well it did and I am going elsewhere. The long history: I brought my 2009 Jeep Wrangler in at the beginning of the summer to have some break work done. It was leaking break fluid, the breaks were making noise and the parking break didn't work. They fixed most of it and I got home to find out the parking break still didn't work. I am pretty sure that the guy who works the desk and answers the phone stops listening after a couple of sentences. I brought the Jeep back latter in the summer because of warning lights and a loss of power. At the time I had them fix the parking break that they missed too. They said the issue was a vacuum leak, they replaced the oil cap and a hose. The problem returned and they made me wait a week before I could bring it back in. I looked under the hood and found wires hanging in the fan belt! Wires that had been nearly stowed away prior to me brining it in. They were supposed to replace those wires for free, upon inspection they only patched them. I brought the Jeep in a day earlier than the appointment and a day AFTER the appointment they still hadn't done anything or looked at it (they cited being under staffed for various reasons). Over the next three weeks they would never call with an update, I would always have to call them. Each time I got the story that they "almost had it" and they were checking something different. I went in once to get some things out of it (I am Traveling and living out of the Jeep) and it didn't even have the hood up and no one was working on it. I have a friend who lives in the area and he said that he saw it parked in the lot most of the time. All I can say is they are incompetent and I will never go there again. read more

NO RATING. Mueller's Auto, in Pueblo Colorado. They quoted and charged $271.21 for a new tie rod on the front passenger side of car. They also quoted front brakes along with other repairs; All quotes were VERY competitive and I passed on the brake job. The sales employee NEVER MENTIONED the tie rod will only work correctly with new front brakes. Had I known, I WOULD HAVE REPAIRED THE FRONT BRAKES. All phone conversations are recorded between me and the sales department. I have been employed for 6 years with NAAG. I am temporarily working in Pueblo. I will make a formal complaint about my experience with this company. I will follow up when I get answers. read more

took my Volkswagen in for an a/c recharge and they messed up my car they called me a liar tryin to tell me something was wrong when my car was perfectly fine it jus need an a/c recharge I talked with a second mechanic and he said that could be caused by overfilling the a/c now they're trying to tell me it's bad! how does it go from being fine then all of sudden it's broken after they have it for 3 hours...at first they were very polite but once they broke my car and I told them they got rude and defensive...they did issue a refund but actually lexi was upset by how I was talking to her so she double charged me and smirked about it leaving my account empty for 3-5 biz days till they refund all my money not to mention I drove an hour to this place then jus for them to mess up my car! read more

I CANNOT THANK MUELLERS ENOUGH!!! I drove from San Antonio TX to Pueblo to purchase a 1988 Camaro Iroc-z from a company called Elmer Sheet Metal Shop, specifically dealing with the owner, Doug. Doug assured me that the Iroc-Z was in prestine condition, and functioned 100%. I made the drive from SA TX to Pueblo Co to purchase the car after A LOT of checking up on better business bureau, Doug himself, and his company, Elmers Sheet Metal Shop. When I arrived in Co, the car wasn't in the shape I was told, but the seller did offer to reduce the price, almost instantly, which was already a red flag. I told him I would require a shop look at the car. I called Muellers, directly speaking with the owner who quoted a very inexpensive pre purchase inspection. I drove to the shop and they confirmed with their precise eye that the auto had been wrecked... not only that, but was beaten back into "a driveable car". when we lifted the car on the jack, the undercarriage was in VERY BAD SHAPE. it appeared as if the car had been dropped from a height of more than 5 feet and had lots of areas under the car where the frame was bent. Then they ID'd that the front spindal was bent up into the a frame support and ty rod end, so the front tire would drag when turing. needless to say, I didn't buy it. it was a long trip back feeling very lied to by the owner of the car, but MUELLERS SAVED ME FROM BUYING IT. I thought well the price dropped greatly, I am a decent mechanic, and I could repair the issues. without the guys at muellers I would have bought it and may have broken down half way, but they gave me a fair price, put me in front of the line since I was from so far away, and not just gave me their opionion, showed me phyically where the damage occurred and why it wasn't a wise investment. They pointed me out to lots of fun things to do for the day since I was not familiar with the area... I ended up chatting with them for 20-30 minutes longer than I would have normally, but they are VERY VERY NICE PEOPLE. also, when I got back to the owners shop, he told me he never heard of them and got upset when I handed him his keyes back. I ended up talking to the secretary who confirmed he did know who they were, he just wanted to act as if he hadn't... the secretary confirmed that Muellers also helped her when she broke down one day on the hightway behind Muellers shop. they went to her aide, got their car into the shop, and since the lady was broke, they didn't charge her... AND THAT WAS THE SECRETARY of the person I was supposed to buy from... THEY ARE SUPER NICE AND MY SUGGESTION IS TO CALL THEM FIRST. fair prices and you are treated like a person, not just a pricetag walking into the shop... conversely, do not use DOUG or Elmers Sheet Metal Shop. read more
