About a year and a half later, I brought it in for a recall on the front control arm. After the service, just two days later, the front passenger tire flew off on the freeway, causing a major safety failure. Despite this being directly tied to their work, they denied all responsibility. Even after I contacted the owner, I never got a response. Something I heard today reminded me of this incident, and it just goes to show, when you screw people over, time may go by, but they don't forget. I was a loyal customer for years, knowing many of the staff personally, but this broken trust was the final straw. I haven't returned since, and I hope others consider this before choosing them.

It's been a nice handful of months ago now since my last service there, but the experience was so fantastic that I made sure to take time to write a review even after quite a bit of time has passed. I'd like to start with one of the lead service managers/technicians, his name is Johnny. Johnny is beyond phenomenal. He's kind, intelligent, hard-working, and exemplary personnel. Not only did Johnny and his team make sure that my vehicle was fixed properly, but also very timely while working closely with me to keep me informed every step of the way. There were a few hiccups and snafus during the process (some a little unprecedented as Jon(who no longer works there) initially started working on my car) but Johnny picked up his slack and went above and beyond to make things right and fix my vehicle properly. As a customer, he made me feel like 1/1 VIP, and you can't really find that type of service or charisma like anywhere these days. An added bonus was that I had the opportunity to see him interact with another customer and I could tell he made that individual feel the same way. Johnny is truly an outstanding person and employee and should 100% be recognized as such. All jokes aside give that man a raise or an extra vacation or something lol. Another lead technician/service advisor that should be recognized for his exemplary work and customer service is Eric. Eric's knowledge in service, reliability and infectious positive attitude is truly something amazing and is the reason I've brought my business to Griffin's hub for multiple years now. The first time I serviced my vehicle at Griffin's was back in late 2020 and was with Eric. The experience was so grand I haven't looked back since, because of that I only take my vehicle to Griffin's for literally anything and everything. There are a few more folks I'd really like to take my hat off and give a nod to that added to my already great experience at Griffin's hub. This last time around, amongst the mild chaos with my part being shipped to Griffin and Jon no longer working there and the part getting mixed up in the warehouse or whatever, I had the pleasure of meeting Taylor (I'm like 90% sure that was his name. He was one of the head honchos, like top dog service manager) and he too, was an absolute delight. He greeted me with poise and respect and helped figure out the situation and make right of any wrong that may have been done along the way in the confusion. The last two individuals that deserve a shout out are both Dave and Carrie, the shuttle drivers. In my time with Griffin's, I've never taken advantage of or had the opportunity to use their shuttle service. (Which, sidenote, is f-ing amazing that they have that available for their customers!!!!!) however this last time around I did, and I enjoyed every second of each conversation I had along the ride with them! Major kudos to Carrie and Dave! Griffin's hub really knows what they're doing getting the best of the best in every facet and capacity, filling each role of every department of that establishment with the absolute greatest individuals. Thank you (especially) to all those listed above, as well as all those working at Griffin's Hub for continuously providing great experiences. - Jordan S. (Jeep Cherokee)

This review is for purchasing a new vehicle (4 runner 2024) from David Bridges (sales)…read more I looked at vehicles at other dealers. Found one however, the process at the other dealer was becoming complicated and difficult to accomplish in the amt of time that I had available. From the time that I walked into Napelton, David greeted me and was willing to help. It helped I knew what vehicle I wanted however, he was able to locate all like vehicles in a short amount of time. He didn't ask me the usual questions prolonging the process, he let me tell him all of the features I wanted and a few that I just did not such as color or extras that the dealer adds at times. I had a price that I was most likely expecting to pay and asked if they 1. had a vehicle and 2. Are they able to match the price I was going to buy at the other dealer. David was pleasant, personable and in my opinion appeared to be quite transparent and honest. He was able to locate 2 vehicles that were comparable and one that I wanted. Next... the reason for the 4 stars maybe 3.5 is the PROCESS. The sales person even though you may have purchased 50 cars in your lifetime, must take their/your numbers to the (boss)? This is ok however, this is where it became time consuming. It was Yes I think we can do that, yes we have that, yes is this the one. so on and so on of yes's. The "boss" for lack of better words then has this sales person go back in forth a number of times that is just relentless. Mind you I have a paper in my hand with the vehicle I want and the price another dealer had given me with a contract in hand honestly. this went on for quite some time with me deciding to leave and think about things such as going to another dealer. David, thank goodness, was more patient than I was and actually was able to keep me informed every step of the way. He was very reasonable and understanding. After a few more times of this, the "boss" began to talk to me about said vehicle and price. they wanted $1000 more but I just didn't feel comfortable with that since again, I had already done the homework at the other dealership. After about 4 hours --- no exaggeration, the "boss" agreed to what they seemed to have in the beginning and I bought the vehicle. It was a painless process with David and it was easy to find a vehicle and David was very attentive and knowledgeable. If he didn't know it, he did the research and found out. ---that's great! instead of guessing and giving false statements. I bought it! I loved the vehicle! I would recommend David B. One of the best sales people I have dealt with and would go to him again. Advice: Do the homework prior. Have an idea. Be direct on the possibilities you want to consider and David will find it for you! As for the process.... this is old school and unnecessary. It's designed to tire you out, wear you down and they continue with this process which is ridiculous. My last suggestion is... Do not make an appt. Go in on your time. AND.... go in an hour before they close so they can't keep you for 4 to 6 hours. If you have a trade, make sure you keep your keys to your vehicle. If they evaluate it, get your keys back immediately after. They like to hang on to your keys during the process until you realize you may leave and realize they still have your keys! Hope this is helpful and Thank you, David Bridges. Really. Much thanks.

One of them had sold before we got there which is totally understandable and the way it goes, especially on a Saturday. The salesman sat down with us, we talked over our dealbreakers and what we were looking for and why we singled out those two cars. Two of the dealbreakers we discussed was that it had to have a clean Carfax, no accidents of any kind or other issues noted, and the other was that we wanted an AWD car. We went out and test drove the remaining one we saw advertised, came back asked to see the Carfax since it wasn't on the listing and he left to go up to their podium, we thought, to retrieve it. The salesman came back with another document to show us how their price was fair and how the car ranked in the region and such. We again asked him to see the Carfax. He left again and came back with the Carfax, which in big bold text, as they do, indicated that there was damage reported to Carfax that he didn't tell us about to that point. Then the back pedaling begins and how they can beat the deal we had seen at a different dealership earlier in the day. He says they can match the deal on a new model of the same car we just test drove. My wife and I discuss it (since we had been there almost 2 hours at that point) and decide we aren't waiting for him to come back at this point and waste more of our time. As we are walking out the door he comes running over to stop us and says he has a deal on a brand new model. We told him we wanted some time to think, given our experience, and we would be leaving now. The sales manager then chases us out to the parking lot (literally running out of the building to catch up to us) with a flyer for a new model of the car we were looking at and we were both already in the car and pretty upset, but still trying to be professional with him. We took his information and the flyer with the handwritten price on it he was chasing us down with and the details of the car. It was a FWD model. The appearance of it all at the time was that either the salesman wasn't listening to us at all, or he was trying to bait and switch, get us to agree to a price on anything, just to get the sale and see if we'd notice. It's really a shame because we did like the car and the dealership is in a decent location, people greeted us and made us comfortable while we waited, but it now feels like to us that that was all an attempt to cover up sleazy, stereotypical used car lot tactics that definitely lost Toyota of Brookfield a sale that did go to their competitor and has left a lasting negative impression on myself and my wife, especially since the dealership that did get our sale didn't resort to any of that nonsense and was open an honest about their inventory and respected our needs and time as customers.

I was contacted by a salesperson named Daryl Robinson, who told me they were taking in a 2021 CR-V with about 40,000 miles that would be within our budget. He texted me saying the vehicle was in and asked when I could come in. I scheduled an appointment for 2:00 PM. Because I was driving over an hour to get there, I called around 1:30 PM while on the road to confirm the appointment and the vehicle's availability. Daryl confirmed everything. When I arrived at the dealership, the CR-V he referenced was not there, and they didn't have any similar vehicles available. Instead, he immediately tried to switch me to a different vehicle that didn't meet our needs. What made this even worse was how casually it was handled--as if my time and long drive were no big deal. No accountability and no meaningful apology, just a quick attempt to redirect the sale. This felt like a classic bait-and-switch and reflects very poorly on both the salesperson and the dealership. Terrible customer service. I would not recommend this salesperson or this dealership to anyone.

I proceeded to point this out the Collision Center manager, Matt Woodrum, who agreed that this had to be from them and that they'd take care of it. On 6/27/2025, Matt W reached back out to tell me it was fixed. (See picture 2). I show up, and see that it looks like they just put a blob of whiteout over the mark and wiped the scuff mark off. I did not take the vehicle and told them it was unacceptable. Matt W then told me that they didn't think it was their fault because their paint guy, with 30 years of experience, said the chip was there. (They did not take any before/after pictures). I left and said I would not pick up until it was fixed properly. On 6/30/25 I was told it was fixed for the 2nd time (see picture 3). This was again, just a smoother glob of white paint that was very noticeable. I again did not take the vehicle because this was ridiculous. On top of the fact this is not the 3rd time attempting to pick up this vehicle and the Collision Center manager Matt quality checked and OK'd this 3 times to this point. Fast forward to me having to CC their location manager to actually get something done and they wound up having to repaint the entire back end of the vehicle to make it right. I would never in a million years take my car for any body repairs to Lake Chevy. If you want to buy a vehicle, that's one thing and I would HIGHLY recommend Matt Kreckler. Before dropping it off, the car started. i was bringing it in for an unfinished repair (so it didn't at the time of bringing) but has been a great daily driver every single time. After their work, I was handed back a vehicle that would not start at all -- just a single click. Instead of taking responsibility, they immediately tried to blame: * a starter that was replaced two months ago (ACDelco), * and hinted at a battery issue, despite the battery being less than 6 months old. When I pushed back, I was told they would need to re-diagnose the vehicle at my expense -- for a problem that did not exist before they touched it. That's unacceptable. To make it worse, the car was clearly started, moved, and washed after the repair, yet returned to me non-operational in their parking lot. There was zero accountability, zero ownership, and a whole lot of deflection. The most embarrassing part? The issue was resolved in their parking lot, in front of them. A dealership charging dealership prices should not be returning cars that don't start, then asking customers to pay again to diagnose their own workmanship. If you value your time, money, or sanity, I'd strongly recommend going elsewhere

It was the mixed bag of awfulness that makes people like me dreading buying cars. Got a recommendation to go to Wilde and ask for Big Mike. Saved us. A year later, we needed a new car. Since Wilde is almost an hour from our house, the market had changed a lot in the intervening year, and weren't buying a used car, we tried looking at other places. Ended up calling Big Mike. He calmly addressed our needs and we drove away happy. Bought our third used car from them just a couple months ago. Obviously, there are a lot of negative reviews for Wilde. What do I make of them? Well, if I'm honest, I do t know if I'd go to Wilde if I had to play roulette and take whatever salesperson walks up to me first. I've never seen anything bad, but the place doesn't have a vibe of excellence that would put me at ease. I've worked with three difference finance agents. Wild variety of experiences--even the guy we used twice was different each time. Again, nothing unethical or problematic like I've experienced elsewhere, but rather I'm willing to put up with "ok" because I know I'm getting fair treatment on the front end of the shopping experience. Two years after buying used and a year after buying new, I'm still happy with the cars. I waited again for over an hour for a call that never came. Out of stubbornness and curiosity I decided to call back. All I wanted was the "Today's Price" that I submitted for and never received. Instead I received a condescending lecture on it must have been a while since you purchased a car, how their car comes with a warranty, has 10,000 (*6915) mile less than the other car and the price on the website was the price. Along with a convoluted yarn about if I bought the car from them and it broke in half, it would be covered under warranty. This is the strangest car buying or attempted car buying experience I've ever had. Now I'm beginning to understand his statement of it must have been a while since you bought a car. It must be an effective sales technique not to provide information to an inquiry for "Today's Price", not to return a call and when a prospective customer calls back to be insulting. I phoned the dealership and spoke with Andy who is one of the owners. He listened to my concerns. He did say they would be making changes to the "Today's Price" link.
