We had some bad weather and he stated that they needed until Wednesday to complete the job. I paid him $40 for diagnostics and then $150 for the tow. Then sent $550 for parts. I also got a rental for 5 days through budget rent a car which cost me 500$ Wednesday came and it wasn't done. He said it would be done Thursday. I got the rental another day. Another $68 and $15 extension fee. Friday came and he said it's still not done. So after a week I have paid over 1k and it's not done. He promised it would be done the following Tuesday by 8pm. I returned rental that morning. At 9pm when he didn't show up he texted that he was done but there was still an oil leak. WHAT!!!!! He said he had parts and needed until Monday. Monday morning I asked him if it was going to be completed as promised and he said no. He needed til Wednesday. So 13 days he has had my car and it's in the same condition. I just had enough and sent a tow truck to their shop to get my car. When tow truck arrived it was at someone's house. They told me it was a mechanic shop. It's a random house on a sketchy neighborhood and my car sitting in front untouched with snow covering it still. He misled me as he had a shop. He just paid google bc he was the first to pop up. I trusted him and he lied several times. I am now at a mechanic shop hats legit and have had to get ANOTHER rental car for the week. This guy has lied and set me back almost 1500 and my car is in the same condition as it was 13 days ago. Do not trust him

I was told that another technician would test drive the car to see if he noticed anything. He did not hear a rattle, either. I settled on the distinct possibility that the rattle I was hearing was in my own head. They checked everything out and assured me that everything was fine. When I went to pick the vehicle up, I asked how much my bill was. I was told it was zero. This was a situation they could have taken advantage of, but they didn't. Whenever my car does (legitimately) need service, this will be the place I take it. I am more than confident in their integrity and, while I had no services performed, I am equally confident that anything they do will be done correctly.

A mechanic I can trust, who pays personal attention, who charges fair prices, who wont nickle and dime its costumers while charging for an estimate or a examination separately. A mechanic I could stop by any time and who'll treat my car the same day. It seems like I finally found one. I stopped by one afternoon after my friends referred to check this place out. I described two out of three problems I had with my car, even though it was late in the day and crew was busy working on other cars, the owner actually switched cars and put mine in right away. Soon after, the owner figured out another problem. It was the third problem, which I knew about but didn't mention due to time and financial priorities. The owner then offered to fix all three problems at once, estimate of 2 1/2 hours and an amount of money which was a quarter than the estimates I got from several cookie cutter big chain mechanics all over town. The car was actually fixed and running perfectly an hour early while the sane price I paid saved me hundreds of dollars. All in all, professional, fast, affordable with great customer service. JB's earned a loyal costumer.
