I took my 2005 pickup truck in for an exhaust system estimate and dropped it off. I advised the guys at the counter that because it's a high mileage vehicle I'd appreciate if they can keep the price as low as possible. They gave me the feeling that were truly listening to me, making eye contact and were very courteous. They pulled it in almost right away and on my way home they called with an estimate surprisingly low and explained how and why they were able to keep it at a minimum. I gave them the go ahead and less than two hours later they called to say it was done. They also texted an app to me, making the credit card payment process super easy. My truck is so quiet now I'm afraid I'm going to hear whatever else may be wrong with it (smiling). I am totally sold on Big Al's and have already started spreading the word to my friends and family. We came in with a Hyundai Sonata, it had a myriad of issues ranging from a run of the mill oil change, broken window motor, thermostat issues, and total brake overhaul.. They managed to fix everything over just a few short few days. They had great communication about our issues and upfront about pricing. The only sticker shock was the window motor which I'm still not sure how it was $400 but it's fixed and that's an expensive lesson but with kids what are ya gonna do? The guys at Big Al's are nice and honest. The dealership quoted $1200 for a new muffler (apparently they were going to replace anything related to the muffler). Big Als said I only needed a new resonator and out the door it was $241 and some change. Wow! I also made an appt and let them know I would have to wait. They got me in and out in just over an hour. Staff was friendly and personable. I was not in a hurry so an appointment for an estimate was made for the following week. I dropped the car and keys off the night before.
