I was on my way back to Georgia and my car started making a strange noise. They were extremely nice, and let me and my dog wait inside while they checked it out. It turned out to be a very simple and inexpensive problem to fix. They got my pup and I back on the road very quickly and didn't try to sell me a lot of unnecessary repairs. i have a 2004 hyundai sonata with a muffler system that needed some attention. went to voss hyundai in centerville and they said it would cost me $2100 to replace the exhaust system, just to fix a hole in one pipe. took it to midas, just down the street. they said $1700 to replace exhaust system. the car is only worth about $3000, that was not going to work. saw muffler bros on internet and a fellow on there took a lexus to the dealer for the same problem. he took it to mufflers bros and had it fixed for $100. $189. later and they fixed mine too. i have found a mechanic I can trust. most of these big name places will just rip you off. it is all about money. read more

As a young woman, vehicle repair shops make me nervous because of the dreaded up-sale, but I've never had to worry about pushy or intimidating salesmen here. Everyone is friendly and accepts that you only want what you came in for, not to mention, I can stop in anytime and not worry about a long wait. They also helped me by cutting out and affordably replacing the pipe between the cadillac converter and muffler after it rusted through. Great, super fast service! I have a 2006 Lexus GS, had two holes in the exhaust. My dealer and my body shop both recommended Doylestown in Franklin. They had both quoted about $2k to replace the whole exhaust. I called Muffler Bros at 8 am, dropped the car off after getting a quote for $180, and got a call 3 hrs later that it was ready. After seeing Christopher R's rating here on Yelp (along with very positive reviews on a site that sounds sort of like giggling), I called them. I explained that my 2003 Subaru WRX sounded like there was an exhaust leak, and asked if they could take a look at it. There was no hesitation on their end - "bring it on in." Muffler Brothers made it quick, easy, and relatively painless. Once I got to their shop, there was no waiting. They had me pull my car up onto a lift, checked out my car, and found the source of the exhaust noise. It turns out that it was not a blown catalytic converter (as the tech had originally suspected). Instead, it was just a corroded exhaust pipe near the middle of my car. I deliberately chose Muffler Brothers rather than a "big name" shop, out of reluctance to pay "big name" overhead & prices. My trust was apparently well placed. They made NO attempt to "upsell" me, offering hundreds of dollars of unnecessary work. Instead, I had my car back in less than half an hour, having been charged exactly the estimated amount - about $60 for the repair. Very impressive. I'll be back. read more

Called to get a quote for a new muffler and tailpipe on my 2011 Nissan Titan. I was quoted a price of $189-$229 from Doyle. When I arrived to my scheduled appointment, They said they didn't realize my truck took a 2 in 1 out muffler. I was told they didn't have the muffler in stock and the price is now $429. I drove from Cincinnati to Franklin to be told they don't have the muffler in stock and oh by the way the price is $429. Terrible service. They didn't even apologize for the inconvenience. Ended up down the street at a competitor who installed the same product much cheaper...BEWARE! read more

I was recently referred to Muffler Brothers in Franklin, OH when I needed to have the catalytic converters replaced in my 1996 GMC Yukon. I had received estimates from four other establishments prior to contacting Muffler Brothers. They beat all four estimates handily without knowing what they were.
