I had a blown tire over the weekend. I tried to replace the tire myself, but the security lugnut had chipped apart while trying to remove it. I called the first tire replacement link I saw online. I explained the issue and that I would need an impact tool to remove the tire and that my car was parked in the rear parking lot (of a local pub). They said a team would be there within an hour. I wait 1 hour and 15 minutes and no one showed up yet. I called back twice for an ETA, no answer, left a voice mail. I sent a text message and got a response that the crew would be there in 10 minutes. They showed up shortly after that. The repair crew were never told that I was in the rear parking lot. Also, they did not have the tools to remove the tire as they were never told about the chipped security lugnut. They tried to remove it, but could not... They offered to tow it to a Daves repair shop, I said not a problem. Handed them the keys and Ubered home. Next day, I get a call letting me know that my car may not be ready until the following day. No rush for me, I waited until the following day, called back and my car was ready for pickup. I am unsure if Daves repair shop is, or at one time was, the same place as Muffler Masters, or somewhere somehow the repair shop changed without anyone telling me, but I picked up and paid for repairs at Muffler Masters. The professionals there were kind and to the point. I really appreciated their help and work and I expect to give them my future business when I need it for my old 99 Lexus. I would give the repair crew/tow crew (a separate company, but I forgot the name) that showed up a 5/5 as well just for how kind they were and even offering the added assistance/recommendation of Daves repair shop that at the end was Muffler Masters. The dispatch company however (a third separate company), charged me double what the individual tow and repair ended up being, something that I am going to dispute, as they were unable to solve anything. Last weekend, a friend walked up behind my truck and said, "Wow! That sounds badass!" Compliments are great, but this was from girl who is not a car enthusiast. Even better. Reminded me of what a great job MM did on my 2006 Silverado. It not only has a mellow-yet-powerful tone, but the rear ports have a custom bend and very unique to my truck. The quality is great and their willingness to do whatever it takes to please the customer is second to none. That's why I previously took my Mustang and a F150 before that.
