Iced Horchata latte & Cheese jalapeño bagel
    Veronica P.

Small local spot in Whittier. Very clean on the inside and outside. I've driven past this place plenty of times and have been wanting to give it a try. So today was the day. I ordered from the "popular" menu. I ordered a Iced Horchata Latte. I'm not sure what it was, but the first half of the drink it was nice and tasty. Perfect blend of sweet and coffee. Once I got to just abt half of it all I could taste was all black coffee. It was the weirdest thing I had never experienced with any coffee. I couldn't even finish the drink. I also ordered the Cheese jalapeño bagel which was just a decent bagel. Service was good. Maybe I'll give them another try if in the area.

I've been to the San Dimas and La Verne locations but recently visited the Whittier location. Was happy to see there was a drive thru because parking isn't the most convenient. To no surprise, the coffee was amazing and customer service was top tier!! Thanks Mugs, you never miss!!

I have been coming to this spot since it opened and I would consider it a must spot to patron in Whittier. Their drinks are so delicious, coffee and non-coffee alike. Their pastries are a perfect sweet treat and they change periodically. They have several non-dairy options. The baristas are always friendly and polite and service is very fast - even when they are packed. The coffee bean itself is very good. The only reason I am giving it a 4 star and not a 5 is because the sweetness is not always consistent. Sometimes it is perfect, sometimes it is heavy. This café is a small Lil stand on Whittier Blvd next to the laundromat. It has outdoor seating and a few seats inside. I love the feel of it. Very comfy and homey feel. I will continue to stop here, even if it is a bit of a drive for me.

Enjoy dinner in Pico Rivera, wanted some coffee afterwards, drove down to Whittier, only to check out this place because it offered Cold Brew Café de Olla. An hour before closing, only drive-through was open, not disappointed at all, the cold brew was excellent! I ordered the MUGS Mexican mocha, which was really good too. Customer Service was good. See you next time we're in the area!

Happy Hour is 50% off from 4-7 PM. They have BOGO bagel deals on UE/DD. I tried the cafe latte with oat milk this time, and it was okay. I think it would have tasted better with a flavor shot. It was mostly milk, which I didn't mind, but I went home and added lavender to it. My partner got the cold brew with an added espresso shot, but it wasn't as strong as I expected it to be. The inside is small, so it feels cramped when a line starts to form. Also, it's hard to see the menu with all the deco in the way. I hope one day their horchata is veg*n-friendly!

*Note: TDLR at the end of the review Banana Horchata Latte: 5/10 The banana tasted pretty artificial and I think they use 2% milk. Espresso isn't super strong, but it was decently priced. I wouldn't go out of my way to get it again. Service: 10/10 They were super super friendly and definitely bring the energy. Great customer service Ambiance: 8/10 It's super cute!! There's very minimal seating on the inside and outside, but it's a great hangout spot or somewhere to catch up. Just note that there isn't a restroom for customers. There's not a lot of parking, but there is a drive thru if you're looking for something convenient. TDLR: A very cute spot to hangout or catch up. Minimal seating. No restrooms. Drive-thru available. Minimal parking. Do not recommend for studying that requires electronics. There are no outlets. Good for sketching though!

I ordered the Neapolitan Latte, Vanilla Latte, and a Cake Pop The Neapolitan Latte was good but it was overly sweet for me. There was no burned flavor which is a sign of good coffee. If you don't mind a really sweet, then I'd recommend this drink. The Vanilla Latte had good flavor, wasn't overly sweet, and coffee didn't have a burned taste. I would recommend to order this. The Cake Pop was pretty average, I wouldn't go out of my way for it. Wasn't bad but I'd probably pass on my next visit. Overall this is a great place to get coffee, the prices are similar to Starbucks but I think it is better. The drinks came out quick and the staff were friendly. Ambiance is casual, limited seating inside, this wouldn't be my first choice to study since there's no outlets.

Dulce de leche latte is phenomenal. Actually an incredible price for a fancy flavored coffee in CA. Customer service was great. Super cute drive through shop. There is also seating inside. Plenty of parking. Loved it and will be back.

Mission Statement: At MUGS Coffee Roasters we love two things great Coffee and helping Dogs! We roast coffee weekly to ensure that we provide the best tasting drinks to our customers. We also donate to no kill animal organizations every month because its something we hold near and dear to our hearts. Current Promotions: 50% every day between 4pm-7pm (Happy Hour). If I lived/worked near the area, I would be there every day! :) Background On Visit: Needed a caffeine boost after attending a viewing at Rose Hills. Thought to myself that this place would be a great place to go if we were in the area. Credit Cards: They're accepted. Restrooms: There's no restrooms. Location/Parking: Major cross streets are Whittier Ave. and Glengarry. There is parking in their private lot. Ambiance/Decor: Small little shop with minimal modern furnishings. There's also a outdoor patio and a drive thru if you don't want to get out of the car. Service: Service was great. Barista was friendly, attentive, and engaging. She was very informative about the shop and their other location in San Dimas. Drink came out at a decent time. Drink Of Choice: 1) Drip Coffee: Solid! Very good! 3) Mocha Latte: Mmmmmmm! Nice chocolatey flavor! Mugs Coffee For Thought: Will visit again and so should you! :)

While in the area I decided to try this coffee place. I've wanted to try Mugs Coffee Place for a long time and it did not disappoint. The drink I ordered was good. I ordered a low-calorie cold decaf horchata drink. The taste was amazing. The ingredients were incredible. I love their menu because they already have a menu for low calorie, so if you want to watch your weight. They have happy hour every day starting from the afternoon to evening which is great. I will try a pastry and a hot drink next time. Note: They have a drive-thru and the place is very modern with indoor and outdoor seating.,

I was up early this morning and running errands. I found this small coffee shop in the area that has good reviews, so I decided to stop by to get some coffee. Drive thru is available. There is a small parking lot outside of this small coffee shop. However, it might be difficult to pull out your car when you leave due to the drive thru line is right behind the parking spots. It was not the perfect set up. I ordered an Iced banana horchata latte and MUGS Mexican mocha. The drinks came out with perfect sweetness and flavorful. The coffee has strong flavor. They were not watery at all. This coffee shop is pet friendly, and I saw dog owners brought their dogs with them. Will come by again for coffee if I am in the area.

I was in the area and was looking for some quick coffee to get me through the morning. I came across Mugs Coffee Roaster from my search and wanted to give it a try. My first impression was that the store was small, but cozy. There were some seats available inside and outside. This store also had a drive thru. I went around 11:30 am on a Sunday and it was busy both inside and in the drive-thru. I was debating on some drinks, so I asked the staff about the Banana Horchata Latte. The staff said it was generally sweet. With that in mind, I got it as a large with 50% sweetness. Overall, I felt I should have gotten this at 75% sweetness, since it was a bit lacking. You could still taste banana and horchata but it was a hint of it. The drink was 6.5/10, but I'd think it would be 8/10 if a bit sweeter. American Express is accepted.

Stop by on a Sunday afternoon, the service was pretty quick. They have outdoor& indoor seating which is nice, they had music playing indoors. I decided to try one of their popular drinks, the strawberry horchata latte. Honestly it blew away my expectations! It was delicious! 10/10 I definitely recommend trying it out.

I stopped on a Friday morning for fuel (coffee) before running errands, and went with the strawberry horchata cold foam. I was pleasantly surprised. It was perfect and not overly sweet. Zack helped me today, but the other ladies making the drinks were welcoming, per usual. The drink I ordered was delightful! I was skeptical to try the Lavender New London because I am a creature of habit, but it is featured on their spring menu and LORD knows I can use some peaceful relaxation right now. I always get the New London because it is phenomenal. Or I might venture out and drink a Spanish Latte, both iced because I love cold drinks.. But because Zack has the best customer service when I placed my order for my normal never step out of the box New London, he told me he could give me a sample of the lavender! I sampled it.I fell in love at the first sip, and I ordered it for the first time today! I also ordered the Turkey Arugula Panini and it is the best panini I've ever had. I will be ordering it again the next time, I'm starving and forgot to eat breakfast! So I am sitting outside of their beautiful Enchanted Cafe, where little magical moments happen, because the EMPLOYEES are kind, you slow down to pick up a coffee, maybe get a sandwich because you're starving, you encounter kind people behind the counter, and that culture permeates the ambiance and creates a warm community within the glass windows of the Enchanted Coffee Bar. As I was sitting outside, enjoying the cold breeze and the palm trees, about to listen to something on my tablet, a young lady walked by me and inspired me because there's a gym next door. I simply complimented her and told her that I want look like her because I am an old lady who has spent the last 21 years of my life taking care of everybody else and I go to the gym now, too! She is my inspiration today. We struck up a conversation out of this enchanted place, because it's just chill here. It's friendly here, you can slow down, pause for a minute, and instead of letting the clock control your time, you can take a few minutes out of the busyness of your day to relax.. This beautiful young lady's name is BELLA, and I hope I cross paths with her again because she is a light in the world and I could see it in her just by the brief conversation we had. Shout out to BELLA and the graduating class of 2026 from LA HABRA HIGH SCHOOL! I highly recommend Enchanted Coffee. I have visited there La Habra location countless times, they also have a very big, recently expanded location in the perfect downtown area. A week before the announcement was made, I came here to try their famous blue tortilla breakfast burrito. [Parking]: There's a free public parking structure located one block away from the coffee shop (6738 Comstock Ave, Whittier, CA 90601). [Atmosphere]: Super crowded on Sunday & I was not able to find a place to sit. I ultimately ordered my breakfast burrito to-go. They also have a section of cafe that sell vintage clothing. [Menu]: For the signature breakfast burrito, they actually have 6 options - classic breakfast burritos (bacon - $16.50), Prime Steak (grass-fed prime steak $20.50), the Ultimate Burrito (grass-fed prime steak + avocado + bacon), Chilaquiles ($15.50), Chorizo ($16.00), and Vegan ($16.00). They also sell their cold brew cafe de olla in giant plastic bags that look like IV drip bags at the refrigerated section. [Ordering]: Customers can order at the cashier counter or order via kiosk (they use Toast). I reviewed their breakfast burrito options at 12 PM and they ran out of classic breakfast burrito. I ended up with prime steak breakfast burrito instead. Unfortunately I waited 45 minutes before they had my order ready and I could tell other customers were not too patient with their orders as they kept walking up to the pick-up counter & checked the ordering status. *** Prime Steak Breakfast Burrito (grass fed prime steak, scrambled egg, Monterey Jack cheese, crema, pico de gallo, tri-colored peppers, hash browns - $20.50): Unlike other breakfast burrito I have had at other places, this breakfast burrito had blue tortilla. The portion was a bit smaller than I expected, but chewy steak + crispy hash browns + roasted peppers + red salsa = one delicious and s-tier tasting breakfast burrito. *** While LFTD serves one of the best 5-star worthy breakfast burritos I have ever had in LA + Orange County, I have to take off a star due to extremely long wait time on food order. Please do yourself a favor and place an online order at least 30 minutes ahead of time if you want to try their breakfast burritos ( https://www.toasttab.com/local/order/lift-6701-greenleaf-ave ).
