Definitely recommend this place! My wife ordered the Biscoff Cookie Einspanner (iced), and I got the Monkey Banana Einspanner (iced). Both drinks were excellent. The cold foam on each drink was incredibly thick and creamy, which made them stand out from other coffee shops. The Monkey Banana Einspanner had a very noticeable banana flavor in the foam, and it paired really well with the coffee. If you drink it without mixing, you'll get a strong coffee kick, but once you stir the foam into the coffee, it balances everything out and creates a smooth, flavorful drink. My wife's Biscoff Cookie Einspanner was just as impressive. She mentioned that the entire drink tasted like Biscoff--not just the cold foam--which made it feel like a well-crafted specialty drink rather than just flavored topping on coffee. The café itself was spacious with plenty of seating and two restrooms. While we were there, a line started forming at the counter, but the layout handled the crowd well and never felt cramped. There was still plenty of room for customers waiting to order and those sitting down to enjoy their drinks. We didn't get a chance to try any of the pastries, but they looked delicious and definitely caught our attention for a future visit. Great drinks, comfortable atmosphere, and plenty of space. I usually don't haunt around Whittier, so trying a drink from such a uniquely named cafe was a treat! Very relaxing and chill cafe. Love the display of teapots, cups, and ceramics. Plenty of seating to just hang out and chat or if you need to set up and study or work on something. There's also online order if you need to grab something and bounce ASAP (my case). Service is friendly, welcoming, and efficient with the morning rush. I was basic the day I visited so I just got their strawberry matcha. Not too sweet. Strawberry flavor with some after notes of the slight earthy matcha once mixed. This will sound insane to people who don't know, but the matcha is better than UG Tea and other big franchise spots, on par with other places that are essentially coffee shops that serve matcha (Dumbstruck Coffee, etc.), but is not on the same level as Yamari or Airoma. I stopped by Favorite Coffee Museum in Whittier first thing in the morning when they opened I ordered the Monkey Banana einspanner and it was good not anything super special though. The cold foam was banana flavored but to me tasted a little artificial what I did like is you can actually taste the coffee, which I appreciate it isn't overly milky. They even topped it with a wafer cookie, which was a nice touch. The inside is very spacious, aesthetic, and has a great atmosphere to relax or get some work done. The customer service was welcoming, and I had a great experience from the moment I walked in. Another huge plus is that they open at 6:30 a.m., which is perfect since most coffee shops don't open until 7:00 or later. Another downside is the drink cost me $8.29 I didn't get any add ons or a milk substitute so that's really pricey compared to other coffee shops. I'll definitely be coming back to try one of their matchas because they looked absolutely delicious! read more

My friend and I visited the spot as it's close by and ordered the Lychee Coconut Banana and the Spanish Latte. Even though it look trendy and modern, the interior feels flat. Like other people mentioned, the seating isn't the most comfortable and there little shade due to the windows facing the sun but no curtains or sun shade was present. Back to the drinks, they weren't bad but considering the prices, they aren't anything special. Not horrible, but prolly not a spot I would take anyone too. read more

I Happened to drive by this place and had to try it. I got the Cookie Butter Einspanner. It was the perfect strength and I loved the cookie butter taste. Nowadays most coffee spots are too sweet and you can barely taste the coffee. But this one was perfect. I will definitely be back! My only gripe was it was a bit expensive. It was 9.95 for what i think was a 16 oz. I'm not sure since it was only one size option. The price was increased because i subbed oatmilk and added cookie butter cream. One of my favorite coffee shops! The cookie butter latter I was scared at first since it looked like a lot of milk meeting either overly sweet or too milky but the espresso is strong! Sweet Maiz Einspanner -solid espresso, smooth and no tanginess at all. So solid that you can't really taste the flavored cold foam. Initial taste was great when you're sipping but mixing the cold foam in only made it really creamy. Corn flavor just wasn't enough. Monkey Banana Einspanner -also same deal, not enough banana. They would need to really enhance the flavor to shine through the espresso. Since I grabbed a few drinks, I drank this one at a much later time. After sitting for about 2-3 hours you can taste a bit more of the banana flavor but still wasn't quite enough. Maybe their lattes would be a better option to order! Coco Lychee Matcha Cloud -staff said it's not much matcha since the base is coconut water. After mixing in the cold foam with the base it was just right. Their cold foams are a bit dangerous cause I could eat a whole cup of them. They're that good! The matcha is good too and the cold foam adds a good sweetness. Favorite Coffee Museum is one of my go-to coffee shops. I appreciate that they are now open earlier, 7 a.m., which makes it perfect to stop by and pick up a drink on the way to work. There is seating on the inside with some tables that can be used to get some work done and they also have a wooden auditorium like seating area. They do not have a drive thru nor an online application at this time. However, it has not taken longer than ten minutes to order and receive a drink. Customer service is quick and friendly. They do have a stamp card reward system. Every ten purchases, you earn a $5 reward. Some of my go to drinks are: pistachio einspanner, double matcha latte, and the mascarpone vanilla einspanner. If you are looking for a light iced latte, you might like this place. I ordered the iced Spanish latte. You gotta mix it or else you get a mouth full of milk. I tend to prefer iced lattes that are more coffee forward, so if that's how you also prefer them, ask for an extra shot. Seating is okay if you plan to hang out for a little bit, but I wouldn't recommend this as a place to get some work done. Chairs are not comfortable and the dining area gets tons of sunlight since all the windows face the intersection. I dunno, wear your sunblock I guess. Favorite Coffee Museum is tucked away at the intersection of Beverly and Workman Mill Road, right across the Starbucks. Driving into the parking lot, I had to walk around the building to get into the coffee shop entrance but rest assured that there is plenty of parking in this shared plaza and that you are in the right place if you are following the GPS like I was. My hubby and I ordered the Hazelnut Einspanner and the Monkey Banana Latte. The cup in the middle is a regular cappucino. Their special drinks here are creamy and well-balanced. They have instructions on mixing the cream well before drinking. If you follow those instructions, then you will get to taste the coffee the way that it is intended. For me, it would be a 4/5. I am happy with the caffeine amount but mine did not taste like hazelnut. My hubby's drink definitely tasted like a banana latte though. I wonder if I can give this drink another try to see if I taste the hazelnut the second time around. I loved their cream puffs, one of the pastries on sale at the counter. The place itself is well-lit but at least when we came in, the tables felt awkwardly arranged. The arrangement of the tables were more on the uncomfortable side so I can't imagine staying here for too long, other than just catching up with a friend. I wouldn't come here to work or study but they do have plugs and wifi. On the corner, they have seating that reminds me of the interior of a sauna, which is nice for people to sit. Staff (receipt says Hyunjin) politely answered all my questions and moved purposefully. My drink took four minutes and five seconds. Good pace. As mentioned, I love the Biscoff Cookie Einspanner ($7.70). The drink is not watery nor diluted; the drink is not too sweet nor bitter. Rather, it cradles a robust coffee roast within a fluffy layered cream. Once mixed, the brew thickens, and a creamier & gentler flavor emerges. I broke into a playful grin as I bit into the fresh, crisp Biscoff cookie. "Snap!" Regarding ambiance, Favorite Coffee Museum (Whittier) is a wonderful study/work spot. There's customer internet and password; details are written on a tiny sticker stuck onto the counter's glass. There's also eight electrical outlets. I especially appreciated the delicate instrumental music that chimed along the speakers. The space also felt well-utilized. There's about five small tables, one counter, and several portable mini tables. The location is very clean and comfortable. There's also a customer restroom. Overall, I had a magical, memorable experience at Favorite Coffee Museum (Whittier). There's integrity, passion, and skill within these walls. If you love coffee, this is a must-try. Stopped by at approximately 3pm on a Monday - no wait to order. Ordered two hot lattes and two mint matcha lattes with almond milk and sugar free vanilla syrup. All drinks were ready in under 10 mins. Unfortunately, I didn't taste much of the mint in my latte, but the matcha flavor was very much present. Not too sweet, but definitely on the milkier side. Aesthetic-wise, this place is very hipster coffee lover coded -- lots of wood, cozy vibes, and definitely a spot meant for studying alone or sitting quietly with one friend. Very much a "people-at-their-own-tables" kind of café. I didn't really interact with the staff beyond ordering, which was fine. One thing I didn't love, though, is that the menu is only visible once you're at the counter -- there aren't menus posted around, so you kind of have to decide on the spot. Now for the drinks -- both were amazing. I ordered the Biscoff cookie einspänner, and it tasted magical. The coffee itself was strong, the Biscoff flavor actually came through, and the foam on top was Biscoff foam -- which I loved. My boyfriend got the hazelnut einspänner iced, and it was just as good. Stopped by Favorite Coffee Museum around noon on a Monday and stayed until about 4:30 PM. The cashier/barista interaction was pretty neutral nothing bad, but nothing particularly memorable either. She was simply doing her job. I asked about their top sellers and ended up ordering the Pistachio Einspanner. The presentation was nice and looked well put together. Taste wise, it was okay. I enjoyed how thick and rich the cream was, but felt like something was missing or off, which took away from the overall experience. Like I wasn't getting enough espresso flavor in there. The drink wasn't sweet which I like but the cream was too much for my liking. The interior is pleasant and comfortable enough, though it didn't really stand out compared to other specialty coffee shops. One feature I did like was the wall setup near the pickup area it adds a nice touch to the space. I wouldn't recommend this spot for studying or working for long periods. The chairs aren't particularly comfortable for extended seating, and the tables weren't very practical for notebooks or supplies. My pens kept slipping through the gaps, which became a bit annoying over time. Overall, it was a decent visit. Nothing was necessarily wrong, but there also wasn't anything that made me think, "Wow, I need to come back and tell everyone about this place." Second time coming here. First time I ordered a pistachio einspanner and my fiancé got the biscoff einspanner. Both were so good! If you like coffee with thick sweet cold foam on top, you should definitely try either! Today we are trying strawberry and hazelnut einspanner both very good! As someone who loves coffee but is not a big fan of spending 7-10 bucks on a tiny bit of caffeine, customer service at cafes truly matters to me. I've been to favorite coffee museum a couple times to try their drinks n have never really had a problem in fact in my last experience my best friend n I were helped very kindly by a nice woman who even helped us modify our drinks with brown sugar as well as other recommendations. However I'm unsure if after today I will be going back, I walked in looking for the same drink I got last time and very kindly asked the girl in front with pink hair about it or an alternative. Not only was she incredibly off putting during the entire interaction, the only helpful thing she stated was that they didn't have brown sugar (which they had last time) and then stared at me blankly. I've started to yelp more because reviews truly help with a curated experience, it's already a lot to be paying so much for basic coffee but to add in a negative customer service experience really sucks. It's still a new spot and in It's soft opening, so I am hoping this will assist them in improving. I got 3 drinks and the cream puffs for my daughter. My daughter got the hot chocolate latte (non-coffee), I got the Strawberry Latte with almond milk (it's a strawberry puree base), and my hubby got the Hazelnut Einspanner (iced). First, the Einspanner is dairy cold foam ONLY, there is no plant based option. My daughter said that the hot chocolate was all foam and she didn't like it. My husband said that his Hazelnut Einspanner was not good at all and didn't know if it was because of the beans, flavor, or all of it. My Strawberry Latte was HORRIBLE! The strawberry puree was so dang sweet it did not mix well at all. Good coffee needs a good bean and clean water. I don't know if the issue is the bean or water, but something needs to be changed.
