Cute and clean coffee shop. The service is great, courteous, and quick. The matcha is really good too.

I stopped by Favorite Coffee Museum in Whittier first thing in the morning when they opened I ordered the Monkey Banana einspanner and it was good not anything super special though. The cold foam was banana flavored but to me tasted a little artificial what I did like is you can actually taste the coffee, which I appreciate it isn't overly milky. They even topped it with a wafer cookie, which was a nice touch. The inside is very spacious, aesthetic, and has a great atmosphere to relax or get some work done. The customer service was welcoming, and I had a great experience from the moment I walked in. Another huge plus is that they open at 6:30 a.m., which is perfect since most coffee shops don't open until 7:00 or later. Another downside is the drink cost me $8.29 I didn't get any add ons or a milk substitute so that's really pricey compared to other coffee shops. I'll definitely be coming back to try one of their matchas because they looked absolutely delicious!

Cozy and not cluttered decor, great spot for work from cafe kind of day or even a quick coffee date with some girlfriends. They also offer stamp cards! Definitely will be returning. Sweet Maiz Einspanner -solid espresso, smooth and no tanginess at all. So solid that you can't really taste the flavored cold foam. Initial taste was great when you're sipping but mixing the cold foam in only made it really creamy. Corn flavor just wasn't enough. Monkey Banana Einspanner -also same deal, not enough banana. They would need to really enhance the flavor to shine through the espresso. Since I grabbed a few drinks, I drank this one at a much later time. After sitting for about 2-3 hours you can taste a bit more of the banana flavor but still wasn't quite enough. Maybe their lattes would be a better option to order! Coco Lychee Matcha Cloud -staff said it's not much matcha since the base is coconut water. After mixing in the cold foam with the base it was just right. Really really good, never thought to pair lychee with matcha. Would order again.

Okay so I've been coming here for quite a while and I haven't left a yelp review. Very bad of me. lol but I absolutely love this place. This is one of my tops in Whittier. The employees are extremely nice and very accommodating. Every drink I've ordered they have been to their perfection. As soon as you walk in, they always make you feel welcomed. definitely recommend this spot. Sometimes parking could be a little hectic and there's always the perfect times to go either early morning or later in the afternoon.

This coffee shop has easily become one of my weekend go-to's! I have never had to wait very long for my drink and it's consistently great. I love their Spanish Latte but their Einspanners are yummy as well. I'm especially grateful for their early hours as well - extremely convenient when I'm wanting to get an early start to my weekend errands.

I Happened to drive by this place and had to try it. I got the Cookie Butter Einspanner. It was the perfect strength and I loved the cookie butter taste. Nowadays most coffee spots are too sweet and you can barely taste the coffee. But this one was perfect. I will definitely be back! My only gripe was it was a bit expensive. It was 9.95 for what i think was a 16 oz. I'm not sure since it was only one size option. The price was increased because i subbed oatmilk and added cookie butter cream. But honestly it was so good I didn't mind paying.

Iced Banana Matcha Einspanner is yummy! Actually tastes like banana.

Drinks were tasty! Staff was kind. The atmosphere was flat. No vibe at all. It needed more. It needed a good playlist or an inviting setting to sit and stay a while in. We took our drinks to go and they were yummy! Definitely happy we found them while we were in the area. There is a shared parking lot with others in the strip center. Favorite Coffee Museum's entrance faces the intersection. It's difficult to find, at first, when you pull into the lot. Quality drinks and kind staff are key! The atmosphere can be worked on.

One of my favorite coffee shops! The cookie butter latter I was scared at first since it looked like a lot of milk meeting either overly sweet or too milky but the espresso is strong! It made it such a good balance of sweet and strong. The banana matcha was delicious, the cream top does have an artificial banana taste like banana laffy taffy but personally i enjoyed it. Staff is always friendly and theirs a lot of space.

Really enjoyed this little coffee spot in Whittier. I came here since I was in the area and saw online that they had einspanners. I ended up getting a Hazelnut Creamtop Cold Brew and a Hazelnut Einspanner. I loved the topping, and I liked that it wasn't overly sweet. It was refreshing, and the flavors were really good. There was a small amount of seating, but it's a nice spot to chill for a while. I would definitely get coffee here again.

    Biscoff Einspanner
    Sanny C.

This review is for the biscoff Einspanner only. More like a 3 stars, but the place is new so there is time to improve. The coffee was way too creamy/milky for my liking. The biscoff cream was amazing tho. It tasted exactly like biscoff. If I do a blind taste test, I could straight out say biscoff flavor. I am happy that they well executed the cream. Now, they just need to make the coffee taste like coffee instead of super creamy milk. Coffee was weak since the cream/milk used was overpowering. Customer service was good. Coffee shop was in front near the streets RR avail Parking avail

Vanilla latte hit the spot. Decor and atmosphere felt really unique and I appreciate the different look to a coffee shop.

Favorite Coffee Museum is one of my go-to coffee shops. I appreciate that they are now open earlier, 7 a.m., which makes it perfect to stop by and pick up a drink on the way to work. There is seating on the inside with some tables that can be used to get some work done and they also have a wooden auditorium like seating area. They do not have a drive thru nor an online application at this time. However, it has not taken longer than ten minutes to order and receive a drink. Customer service is quick and friendly. They do have a stamp card reward system. Every ten purchases, you earn a $5 reward. Some of my go to drinks are: pistachio einspanner, double matcha latte, and the mascarpone vanilla einspanner. Overall, I enjoy stopping by and getting a drink. I would definitely recommend to stop by and give them a try.

    Michi L.

I definitely recommend this place! I've been once before and got the biscoff cookie einspanner. This time, at the recommendation of the staff, I ordered the monkey banana einspanner. My friends ordered the pistachio einspanner and a matcha einspanner. All the drinks were very delicious! The cold foams are flavored well and when mixed with the coffee, it is perfectly balanced. Their cold foams are a bit dangerous cause I could eat a whole cup of them. They're that good! The matcha is good too and the cold foam adds a good sweetness. There is a good amount of seating but they usually have a line and both times I've been, there was usually more people than seating available. But if you do find seating, it's a good spot.

A week before the announcement was made, I came here to try their famous blue tortilla breakfast burrito. [Parking]: There's a free public parking structure located one block away from the coffee shop (6738 Comstock Ave, Whittier, CA 90601). [Atmosphere]: Super crowded on Sunday & I was not able to find a place to sit. I ultimately ordered my breakfast burrito to-go. They also have a section of cafe that sell vintage clothing. [Menu]: For the signature breakfast burrito, they actually have 6 options - classic breakfast burritos (bacon - $16.50), Prime Steak (grass-fed prime steak $20.50), the Ultimate Burrito (grass-fed prime steak + avocado + bacon), Chilaquiles ($15.50), Chorizo ($16.00), and Vegan ($16.00). They also sell their cold brew cafe de olla in giant plastic bags that look like IV drip bags at the refrigerated section. [Ordering]: Customers can order at the cashier counter or order via kiosk (they use Toast). I reviewed their breakfast burrito options at 12 PM and they ran out of classic breakfast burrito. I ended up with prime steak breakfast burrito instead. Unfortunately I waited 45 minutes before they had my order ready and I could tell other customers were not too patient with their orders as they kept walking up to the pick-up counter & checked the ordering status. *** Prime Steak Breakfast Burrito (grass fed prime steak, scrambled egg, Monterey Jack cheese, crema, pico de gallo, tri-colored peppers, hash browns - $20.50): Unlike other breakfast burrito I have had at other places, this breakfast burrito had blue tortilla. The portion was a bit smaller than I expected, but chewy steak + crispy hash browns + roasted peppers + red salsa = one delicious and s-tier tasting breakfast burrito. *** While LFTD serves one of the best 5-star worthy breakfast burritos I have ever had in LA + Orange County, I have to take off a star due to extremely long wait time on food order. Please do yourself a favor and place an online order at least 30 minutes ahead of time if you want to try their breakfast burritos ( https://www.toasttab.com/local/order/lift-6701-greenleaf-ave ).

A Welcome Addition to West Whittier…read more I visit this Philz Coffee location whenever I'm back in town visiting family, and it has consistently been a great experience. The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable, and they're especially helpful when I have questions about the menu. I don't actually purchase coffee that often. When I do, it's usually either Philz or a local mom-and-pop coffee shop/hole-in-the-wall. So whenever I walk into a Philz, there's usually something new for me to try or ask about. On my most recent visit, I also realized I had somehow created two Philz accounts. After placing my order, I asked the cashier if they could be merged, and they kindly provided me with the appropriate customer service email rather than leaving me to figure it out myself. I also asked about their cold brew. I ordered my usual Honey Haze, but I wanted to treat my grandmother to a coffee as well. She loves coffee and drinks it black -- usually a medium roast that she brews in a big batch at home. The cashier recommended the Mission Cold Brew, so I decided to give it a try for her. I delivered it to my grandmother later that day, knowing she would probably save it for the next morning since caffeine too late in the day can interfere with her sleep. I followed up with her the next day, and she loved it! That recommendation definitely earned some points with both of us. The Whittier location is consistently clean, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and I appreciate having Philz as another coffee option in West Whittier and The Groves Whittier. It's always nice when a new addition to the neighborhood actually feels like a welcome one.
