Easily one of my favorite spots in Mukilteo. This Thai spot has all your favorite hits. We did a family dinner nearby and stocked up on the Thai go-to dishes. This included a Thai fried rice, pad see ew with chicken, orange chicken, steamed veggies, and fried spring rolls. Each dish was incredibly tasty and perfect for sharing. In long This is one of the longer-running Thai places up here, and word of mouth seemed mixed on it. I'm glad I checked the online reviews--things are either picking up in here, or I was talking to the wrong people before. It's a modest strip mall, and seems dimly lit from outside. Once you're in, though, there are lots of charming old photos and bits of art framed on the wall, and maybe the owners' kids are doing homework and munching on some food at a table in the back. Clean, welcoming, and low-key place. The menu isn't too awfully long--soups, salads, curries, noodles, some other options. Focused. I ordered hot green tea and got a single-serving pot full of loose leaves, along with a small china cup and saucer. Feels like visiting a relative for a fun afternoon meal. Tom Zhap Not sure I aced the spelling there, but this is a true hot and sour beef soup. So many places add cream and sugar until you can hardly recognize the soup anymore; this one is all sparkling with lime and deep with shrimp paste (I think) and has the tenderest, most buttery beef slices you can imagine. Lots of fresh basil cooked just through, too. We ordered 3 stars and it had a great kick. I could happily have the big bowl of this for my whole meal. Beef salad Mountains of buttery-tender beef (again) with tons of fresh veg and noodles. Probably the best version of this dish around up here, and every Thai spot has their version(s) on the menu. The dressing is amazing--tart and savory, hints of sweetness, so much flavor that works so well with every other part of the dish. Great stuff. Chicken cashew Comfort food for me. Everything's lovely--balanced sauce, nice fresh ingredients. Ordered 5 stars and it was milder than the soup, but I'm gonna try again and next time maybe I oughtta encourage them a little more to lay it on thick. Definitely enjoyed every bite even if it could have been spicier. Prices here were very fair, and service was very friendly. Definitely coming back. read more

This place is the best Thai food in the mukilteo area. Normally there aren't as many sit-in customers but there are plenty to go orders. The portions are very well portioned, and the pad Thai here is very well made. The other dishes are average, but the wait time is very long because there aren't many workers. It may not be Hong Kong's subway system, but this MTR (in the modern parlance of our times) is FIYAH! Literally, I definitely ordered one star too many and paid the price. I ordered duck,a specialty, tom Kai soup, and calimari. The duck refried and tough, the soup was good but filled with shrimp with dirty tails still on. The was a cup of fried calamari. I had to ring a bell to bring them out of the back. When I got home all the duck sause, had leaked from the cheap Styrofoam container into the plastic 7 11 bag. All this for $77.00. It's hard to find really great food in Mukilteo. I never knew I could like Thai food so much! I've ordered thru Uber Eats twice from this place. They're efficient with getting your order done in 20-30 mins and having Uber Eats deliver (if you live in Mukilteo that is) haha. Tonight I had their pho soup and WOW, it was delicious! I requested without pork but left the chicken and tofu part. I'm GLAD they didn't have chicken and just tofu tho. Their fried tofu holds so well together and it's not soggy and such when you eat it! The broth was not like pho, but their own unique broth, with bits of roasted garlic. It was such a simple soup that a few ingredients really made it unique and tasty! I guess they ran out of cilantro so they had put spinach, along with bean sprouts and green onions which said so in the description. I LOVED their noodles that were in the soup too. Their Phad Thai is pretty good, along with the Phad See Yu and their Mukilteo Thai noodles. The Mukilteo Thai is unique with ground chicken and yet so flavorful! I haven't seen the ambiance of the restaurant just yet but plan to check it out one of these days. If I had to name a few great places that is yummy in Mukilteo, this is one of them! read more

Maybe the best Thai food I've had, with good portion sizes. This is a regular place for me and my wife.

I ordered the pad Thai, no veg no nuts 7*, spice was good, foods were good, selfie was good. The lack of tamarind, and the lack of egg left me disappointed, think I got 6 or 7 shrimp, but I'm all about the fresh tamarind and at least one full egg. With a Thai iced tea, for $20 I don't forsee a return visit. Some amazing Thai in Lynnwood that I feel makes the drive worth it. This place was amazing. We went on Christmas Eve, I had the garlic chicken and my husband had the crispy duck. WOW. Flavors were intense and amazing. The duck was spectacular on a sizzling platter. Very impressed. The cucumber side salad was good for dealing with spice, they take the 1-5 scale seriously. I was perfect at a 2 when I usually get 2 or 3. I made a pit stop at the southwest corner of 84th Street SW and Mukilteo Speedway on a Wednesday evening. There were three restaurants in the lot: Mexican, Chinese, and Thai. Because I hadn't had Thai food the longest, I ended up choosing the Thai restaurant, which was creatively named Mukilteo Thai. As I walked in, I saw a man eating by himself to the left. To the right were two Thai women dressed in black sitting at the far table. They both immediately got up to greet me, and that's how I knew they were working the restaurant. They presented me with a menu so large I took an eon to decide what I wanted. They were pretty patient with me, but one of them must have had their patience broken when she offered some advice. She didn't have perfect English, but it wasn't hard to understand her, even though we did have a few slip ups here and there. I wanted to order more than one dish, but it was hard for me to tell how much was too much. She asked me how many calories I was shooting for and what types of dishes I was considering. After some discussion, she told me to take the menu down to one of the chairs by the front door and come back up when I made my decision. After a few more minutes, I finally decided (initially) on the full appetizer plate, duck curry, and the Mukilteo Thai noodles. She didn't really like my choice mainly because the full appetizer plate was all fried, and the other dishes had rather thick ingredients (e.g. coconut milk) that would have pushed the calorie counter over my proposed limit. I decided to swap out the full appetizer plate for an order of spring rolls. It was only about a 10 to 15 minute wait before my food was presented to me in a tightly tied plastic bag. I had asked for an itemized receipt, and they presented me with my receipt listing what I ordered...except the Spring Rolls showed up as A1. It wasn't clear to me what A1 was (steak sauce???), so I had them write down "Spring rolls" on the receipt. I will admit...I was being incredibly fussy that night, so I have to give them a lot of credit for dealing with a rather difficult customer like myself. Compared to their counterparts at other restaurants I've been to​, they were still quite far from the best I've seen. As for the food, it was great! Except one problem: the curry didn't come with rice! Oops! That was my bad! I must have overlooked the small text in the menu that said "we suggest ordering rice to go with this dish". Welp...as a result, I had to improvise and use my curry as a dipping sauce for the spring rolls. Not wanting to mix my curry with the noodles, I ended up with a lot of liquid at the end of my meal. Ever try eating a few nachos when you have a ton of nacho cheese left, and you don't want to waste the nacho cheese? Yeah...that was me right there with the curry. But, on the other hand, if I did order steamed rice, it would have been excessive. I was full after eating all that! Also, there was a bone in my duck curry. No biggie. It was easy to see, and I just simply took it out. The noodles were pretty good too! However, next time I get noodles from a Thai restaurant, I'll be sure to go for one of my favorite dishes of all time: Pad Thai. I liked the Mukilteo noodles as it was a nice deviation from Pad Thai, but I still much prefer the latter. Overall, Mukilteo Thai is a great Thai restaurant! It's pretty easy to miss if you are driving on Mukilteo Speedway. If you see a Brooklyn Bros Pizzeria, the Mukilteo Thai restaurant is on the other side of 84th Street SW. Definitely recommend! Next time I'm up here, I'll have to see how good their Pad Thai really is! read more

Well this used to be my favorite go to Thai food but not anymore. The last time I will order from here. Throughout the years it was the best food around. Flavors were always good and portions huge. Not so anymore. I ordered Chicken Pad Thai 3 stars and Pad Kee Mai with prawns 3 stars and pineapple curry fried rice with prawns 3 stars. Went to pick up the food around 2 pm. The lady looked very unkempt like she just woke up. Hair tangled and greasy and acted incredibly put out. Got the food home and it was disappointing. The dishes with prawns had maybe 3 prawns each. Chunks of pineapple were huge. The presentation of all 3 dishes was not what it used to be. (Usually topped with cucumber slices cut in a pattern with julienned carrots making the dishes look pretty, cilantro sprigs) not this time. Flavor was lacking and the wide noodles were "clumped" together making it so most of the clump never hit the pan and never picked up the herbs and oil. Not good. Will not be back. Sadly this was my favorite but have a new favorite Thai Valley off of Hardeson Road in the food court. Always pretty dishes, bursting with flavor, savory and does not disappoint. read more

So the broth at this place is weird as hell. I've never had pho broth that tasted like this and I eat an ass ton of pho. This was like... I don't know man. Weird. Not right. If you're craving pho like I was and you are looking for the normal broth just go somewhere else dude. EDIT: I just attempted to eat this. Absolutely horrible broth. Terrible. It tastes like it smells, sour shoes. And then on top of that, I could not chew a single piece of the meat as it was incredibly tough and overcooked. The noodles were also WAY over cooked. They may make the best Pad Thai I've ever had delivered. It is slightly sweet, but also juicy. I've always had Pad Thai delivered that was dry. Also, on Yelp you can add extra chicken for a few dollars. I highly recommend adding extras! Also, they make a great Thai Beef Salad. For delivery; I get everything on the side. *Their medium spice is mild for me, but that's what I order and I control the spice level on my own. *Also, with Pad Thai, I order a side of rice, in addition to adding extra meat...it's that juicy! I've been waiting to try this place and I all of a sudden got the pregnancy cravings and needed fried spring rolls. They were SO good!!! The perfect amount of veggies and noodles and perfectly cooked! Their dipping sauce is sweet and sour with a tad bit of spice! It's just delicious. So delicious I went back 2 days in a row!! Today I got another order or fried spring rolls, sticky rice, and crispy garlic chicken with 3 stars! Oh my it was so good. I didn't get much of the sticky rice because my son ate it all.
