We had a really great experience at Thai Rhapsody overall. The food was genuinely delicious, full of flavor, well seasoned, and clearly prepared with care. Everything we ordered tasted fresh and well balanced, and the portions were satisfying without being heavy. The service was another strong point. Our dishes came out quickly, which we really appreciated, especially since the restaurant was not empty. The staff was efficient and attentive, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. One thing that deserves special mention is the halal menu. It is a big plus to see halal options clearly available, and it makes the restaurant much more accessible and welcoming. It is great to have quality Thai food with halal choices, and it definitely sets this place apart. The only downside of the evening was that my husband received his meat dish cold. Unfortunately, that really affected his enjoyment of the meal, as cold meat is not very pleasant, especially for a dish that should be served hot. It was disappointing given how good everything else was. Aside from that issue, the experience was very positive. My rating is 3.5 stars, but rounded up because of the hard work the servers put in. I've been a couple times in the past few months and had varying experiences. First off the Pad Sew Ew and Papaya Salad were good both times. They're solid dishes. I really liked the garlic chicken the first time and was underwhelmed this past visit. I suspect it was because of how busy they were - they might have rushed cooking it because it was as crispy as I remembered on my first visit. The first time I had it, it was the star of the show. They seemed a little understaffed the last time we went and could barely keep up with the rush. But the servers did their absolute best to accommodate the crowd so no complaints there. Overall I will try to time my visits when it is less busy. read more

We came for dinner around 5 PM on a Sunday. The restaurant was spacious and beautifully decorated. I enjoyed my hot apple cider. We ordered the tofu satay, duck curry, ribeye crying tiger with sticky rice, and coconut ice cream -- all were very delicious! Note: the jasmine rice that came with the duck curry was an additional $2. At the end of our meal, a staff member came to our table to ask for feedback and whether there was anything they could improve. The thoughtful service was greatly appreciated. I was introduced to Thai Rhapsody recently, loved it and had to bring my husband for dinner. I had gotten him Chicken Pad Thai the last time, we both loved the Pad Thai but decided to try other items this visit. Their menu is unique, with items we haven't seen in other places. The chef told us he is trying to bring authentic central thai food to the Seattle area. We got Spring Rolls, Mango Drop, Emerald Lamb Curry, and Hawaiian Curry Fried Rice. Food was good- wait time not so great. We had reservations for 3... waited about 20 minutes for the waitress to take or drink order so we took the opportunity to order our food. The restaurant was pretty empty but we ended up having to stand up to remind them we were waiting for our check. We have a child and wasn't expecting to spend an hour and 45-minutes there. We went to eat elsewhere the night before with a party of 12 and was in and out with much better service in a much busier restaurant. I don't know that I would go back based on the slow service and just shy of $9 for lemonade. Enjoy. read more

I originally came here for a yelp event that was top tier, so I wanted to give it a try as a normal customer. The food was wonderful! We had pot stickers, a Thai noodle dish, and a seafood dish. The noodle dish was by far the best. I also enjoyed the cucumber cocktail - it was very tasty. I don't like spice, and my husband does, so they brought him out a spice tray to adjust to his liking which was very nice! We were there at 8pm for a late dinner and they weren't busy at all, maybe 2 tables? It did take us almost 25 minutes before we even placed a drink order so I'm not sure what was going on with that, but after we finally ordered, the service was much more prompt. Pros: Ambience, services Cons: The food! I ordered a tofu appetizer platter, which contained spring rolls, fried tofu pieces, and egg rolls; and tom kha. The tofu spring rolls contained the thinnest slices of tofu I've ever consumed, the egg rolls were mushy, and the fried tofu pieces were almost crunchy and devoid of flavor. But it was the tom kha that was super-disappointing--it tasted like fish sauce and sugar, and must've been devoid of galangal root, lemon grass, lime, and perhaps even chicken stock to lend it some depth. read more

Definitely, my favorite version of this I have tried so far! We also tried the yellow curry and holy basil. Everything was seasoned well. We ordered through Uber for my wife's birthday, as she loves Thai food. Obviously, we knew we were spending more due to the method we were receiving our food. However, the portions have gotten skimpier since the last time we ordered. The rice we received was good enough for one person... we ordered for 4, this presents a bit of a problem that was not an issue in the past. We thought about calling in because we didn't even think we got rice, as it looked like sprouts wrapped in shrink wrap. Prices and/or portion sizes could be improved -- $250 (with taxes and tips) for 4 people (no alcohol) is a bit steep for a regular restaurant. Ambience is decent. Clean, and spacious, and overall comfortable. The lady serving us was genuinely kind, polite, and welcoming. We made sure to thank her properly through some extra tip. But unfortunately, the younger woman at the front desk who showed us our table seemed like she was having the kind of day where even sunshine and flowers would annoy her. Permanent scowl, zero warmth, curt replies... basically the human version of a "Closed" sign. It really put a damper on the mood right at the start. I almost said something in the moment, but I didn't want to create a scene. Note to the owners: first impressions matter. The front desk is the restaurant's face, and one rude attitude can undo a lot of your investment and the hard work happening in the kitchen. It definitely undid one start in this review. A little more training (or maybe a mandatory smile break) could go a long way. read more

Cute restaurant inside Mill Creek town center. Very nice service and fast. I had the samurai pad Thai and the combination of fried tempura shrimp and pad Thai was so good. Boyfriend got the massaman curry and he said it was the best he's ever had. They have a lot of colorful drinks and cocktails listed but we did not try. What an amazing lunch deal! I went in for the first time last week and was excited to find out that they were running a lunch deal- an entree with pad Thai and rice for $14.99! It ended up being a ton of food and I was so thrilled with what an amazing deal it was. The ambiance is really cool- they have a full bar and really updated feel. There is also a lovely patio and tons of windows so we were able to enjoy the nice weather. The food was amazing and a fabulous value. I also loved that their take home boxes are the reusable kind. Today we visited Thai Rhapsody in Mill Creek for a late lunch. They have a separate Halal menu for their Muslim guests. We ordered a Thai beef satay, a Thai beef soup, and a Tofu noodle dish. The beef in both dishes, had a peculiar smell to it. Seems like the beef was spoiled or on the verge of spoiling. Definitely not fresh meat. I should know. I have owned or worked in restaurants for the last 50 years. We ate a couple of bites and left the rest uneaten. We informed the server. She told us that we should have mentioned it to her right away. She advised us, that next time we come to the restaurant, we should inform her immediately. We politely told her that we are not planning on returning to the restaurant. She just brought us the bill and no apology. We used to come to this restaurant long time ago. This place is super spacious compared to other Thai restaurants I've been to. There's lots of seating available for large groups with a mix of booths and chairs. They have a giant TV in one corner, if you can see it from where you're sitting. I feel like I officially can't order beef (except ground beef) at any restaurant anymore, and the crying dish here confirmed it for me. The meat was so chewy and dry with barely (if any) sauce on it, even though it's supposedly marinated. I'm used to getting the crying tiger dish at Thaiku or cooked by my cousin, and this was nothing like theirs. The beef was too bland, even with the sauce on the side added, and not as grilled brown as others I've tried. Others in my party ordered noodle dishes with at least 4 stars (pad see ew, pad thai), and they all said their dishes weren't that spicy or even spicy at all. Another issue was I ordered the lychee Thai ice tea, and it didn't even come with milk in it! The drink was translucent brown colored. So the extra $2 is for the 2 lychees they add into the drink and possibly some lychee syrup/flavoring?! I wouldn't come here again unless I desperately want Thai food and have no other options, and even then, I definitely would choose noodle dishes next time instead. This is more like the Thai food you get from a food court rather than something more authentic. read more

We came here a few weekends back to experience halal thai food which is a rarity in the seattle area. Here's my quick review of the food and experience. Service was slow. Sometimes if felt like we were forgotten. The appetizers were good. We had calamari, beef on a stick and crab rangoon. We had a big order of food. The food all looked good. The dry noodle dishes my friends got all looked good, but not that's not what I ordered. I got the phad thai with lobster. It was not good. The had thai was really mushy and the lobster was non existent. There was barely any meat in the lobster tail. I felt like it was a ripoff. The kitchen forgot to make one of our meals, which sucked for the person that was waiting. Lastly, I was surprised by the bill. The amount was ok because we were charged for what we ordered. What surprised me were some of the upcharges for halal food. We had to pay extra for the halal meat. What was really weird was we had to pay extra for halal shrimp... shrimp is already halal so there should not be an extra charge for it. read more
