Even asked to restrain my non reactive dog without asking any questions prior. The rest of the team seemed pleasant. after they took my dog back the first visit the vet came back pretty passive aggressive and upset that her and her team could not handle a 85 pound husky. he needed water after returning back to the room with me and i was told three times by a vet assistant that it doesn't seem like he does. i asked once again and they brought it in placed it down while saying "i don't even think he's gonna drink it" and my dog drank the whole bowl. he was stressed, panting, this was his first ever vet visit and i reiterated that a number of times. he wasn't aggressive he is just jerky when inexperienced vet techs try to touch him with no warning. the second visit was much smoother. he had to just get shots and the lady on the counter was someone with more comprehension. They were much more kind and understanding of a big dog and how they can act. they took him back for two minutes and he came back smiling. the vet this time did make it clear he didn't like the needle but everything went smoothly. i return a third time and its a automatic request my dog wears a mussel because he bit someone. wouldn't specify who, and the reason "the who" was asked because no biting was ever mentioned and the dog just doesn't bite. so just to make it clear theres people there with different levels of experience and understanding than others maybe they can only handle dogs under 40 pounds. The ironic part is i don't think they wanted me to return because i've had the right phone number and email on file since the initial intake, and never once received reminder for any appointments. each time i asked they said they definitely called, but they didn't. i rechecked the number on file twice. they just don't notify. definitely get a new front desk person, she has no conversation skills!

UPDATE- Your response is completely false. I did not treat any member of your staff in a rude,…read moreracist, abusive, political, or otherwise inappropriate manner. I never made any political statement, racial comment, insult, or personal attack. Nor would I ever. I did absolutely nothing that could justify the accusations you have now publicly made about me. Your response appears to be an attempt to discredit me and put me on the defensive, rather than address the misconduct, or the harm, which is consistent with your previous unethical mistreatment of us. I came to your clinic as a new client seeking only routine care for my dog: preventatives and a fecal exam. From the moment Dr. Mohamed entered the room, she was abrupt, hostile, and repeatedly stated that she "did not understand" why I was there, despite my calmly explaining multiple times exactly what I needed. Then, without warning, without first trying to make my dog comfortable, and without any introduction to my dog whatsoever, Dr. Mohamed forcefully inserted the otoscope into my dog's ear hard enough that my dog yelped loudly in pain. I had never heard my dog cry out like that before. We had been to other vets before who checked her ears using this tool, without any issue. I witnessed how unfriendly and roughly she treated my very sweet submissive dog. What shocked me most was that Dr. Mohamed did not react at all. She did not stop, apologize, acknowledge my dog's pain, or show any concern whatsoever. Again, as my previous review which you replied to stated- to this day my pup will no longer let a vet touch her ears. Dr. Mohamed's handling of my dog fell far below an acceptable standard of care, and directly caused lasting trauma. Your response to hearing this report is once again shockingly unconcerned, and dismissive. No vet should ever roughly handle and harm a dog because they are for whatever reason bothered by the human. That behavior is entirely unethical and unacceptable. Again, as stated previously to which you responded- we have no idea what prompted this behavior on her part and that is really the most baffling component here. Because we are friendly, reasonable and professional people. I work in customer service. I was excited to meet what I thought would be our new vet! I was polite and respectful from the jump. NOTHING in my behavior was even remotely close to what you describe, even AFTER she harmed my baby. I did not yell or get aggressive. I simply asked immediately to end the interaction and speak to the manager. My only possible guess was that my shirt had an American Flag on it, and this was some kind of politically motivated retaliation. I cannot confirm this, but have no other explanation for what was seemingly a very personal attack from a total stranger. Again, I immediately told Dr. Mohamed in a calm manner that I was ending the appointment and requested to speak with the clinic manager. At that point, Dr. Mohamed abruptly changed her tone, apologized, and asked if I wanted to continue with the appointment after all. I declined and again requested to speak with a manager. Dr. Mohamed then left the room. I remained there for more than twenty minutes waiting to speak with someone. No one came. No one checked on me. No one asked what had happened. After waiting, I finally went to the front desk myself, at which point I was told to leave without ever being given the opportunity to explain my side of the situation. I was left in tears. The only person who showed any kindness or professionalism was a member of your front desk staff, who came to me in the parking lot w/ tissues and apologized. Her practiced manner in this strongly suggested that this type of incident is not unusual there. You have now publicly accused me of being "abrasive, rude, racist, and abusive." Those statements are false. I unequivocally deny them. I will not allow false accusations to be used to deflect from what occurred. I will not accept being falsely maligned in order to protect your staff from criticism. I stand fully by my account of what occurred. I did absolutely ZERO to deserve the way Dr Mohamed treated me or my dog. In fact, there exists no possible justification for the rough way she was handled, nor the lasting pain Dr Mohamed's misconduct caused. Both of these are points which you have, yet again, completely neglected to address. I further object to your implication that, because I posted this review years later, my experience is somehow less valid. It took me years to feel removed enough to seek any justice here. As clinic manager it's your duty to ensure correct conduct by staff. You never even gave me an audience, and conducted no investigation. You neglected your duties, and as a result have not obtained the truth. I am formally demanding that you retract the false statements you made about my conduct within 14 days. If you do not, be aware that I am preserving your response and all related communications for further action.

It made me hesitant to come here at first, but I'm glad we did! Dr. Vincenzi really knows his stuff! We came in to continue the vaccine schedule that our breeder had chosen for us, but he recommended that we tried a different set of vaccines that only had one shot at three different dates. He's very knowledgable and explained to us the benefits of what he had told us to do instead, so that our puppy (who was 10 weeks when we had first brought her in) wouldn't have to come in for that one shot the breeder suggested so many times that it would take forever for her to get out and socialize with other pups. He's very outgoing and has a great sense of humor that made us feel comfortable with our pup. The reason I'm giving them 4 stars (which might be silly) is because we couldn't go back with our pup during shots. When she had gotten her Rabies shot, my mother-in-law heard her scream in pain and it was terrible to hear. The receptionist at the time told us it was a different dog but when they brought our puppy out, our puppy was quivering in fear/pain. (which I understand) The receptionists can be a hit or miss since it does get hectic from time to time. But regardless - great clinic in Everett. They know their stuff! We will definitely continue to bring our pup to Dr. Vincenzi.

This place used to be called Value Vet, now it's called "Intercity Veterinary Hospital". Well you…read moreget exactly what you pay for here... Cheap, uneducated doctors.. I brought my cat here a couple years ago because he had a seizure. They did all kinds of work and ultimately diagnosed him with epilepsy and prescribed him phenobarbital twice a day. I remember when they did testing they mentioned his lymph nodes were swollen and just assumed he had an infection and gave some antibiotics. Maybe a year went by and he had one other seizure within that year. Then one day he just didn't want to eat. Brought him back and they did more testing and scans and then said he had fluid built up in his abdomen and he wasn't looking good. Said he might have lymphoma Cancer and I need to take him to an Oncologist for more testing. I did that. Turns out he never had epilepsy, his beginning seizure was from his lymph nodes being attacked by cancer and it caused him a seizure and by the time ( a year later after they misdiagnosed him with epilepsy) that I took him to the oncologist they said it had already spread to his major organs.. was also informed lymphoma is the leading cancer in felines. So my question is, when I originally took him in and they told me he had swollen/enlarged lymph nodes, then why didn't they do more testing or recommend going to get more tests to make sure it wasn't cancer and was in fact epilepsy like they diagnosed him with? Y'all are the professionals right? Shouldn't you have known lymphoma could have been a possibility? Sounds like you should have known from what I was told by the Oncologist, and they were even shocked no follow up testing was done after discovering his lymph node problem and seizures. Y'all should have made that connection FIRST and not just automatically diagnose him with epilepsy.. So, in the end my cat was put on phenobarbital medication for a year that he didn't need, misdiagnosed with Epilepsy instead of Cancer by this "vet". I say that term loosely! My cat unfortunately ended up passing away from his Cancer. It hurts to think that if this place actually put in the effort and care with his testing and diagnosis that they could have caught his cancer early before it spread. He was only 4 when he passed, 3 when they diagnosed him with Epilepsy... My cat could possibly still be alive today if he had gotten the right diagnosis and then got treatment with the Oncologist. I WILL NEVER bring another pet of mine to this place and I highly recommend nobody else does either!! If you truly care for your fur baby and want the best treatment, pay a little more and take them to a more reputable vet. This place is not it!
