I'm really surprised by all the 1 star reviews for this clinic! My mother-in-law found this clinic for our 15 week old shiba inu/husky mix puppy to start getting her vaccinations. It made me hesitant to come here at first, but I'm glad we did! Dr. Vincenzi really knows his stuff! We came in to continue the vaccine schedule that our breeder had chosen for us, but he recommended that we tried a different set of vaccines that only had one shot at three different dates. He's very knowledgable and explained to us the benefits of what he had told us to do instead, so that our puppy (who was 10 weeks when we had first brought her in) wouldn't have to come in for that one shot the breeder suggested so many times that it would take forever for her to get out and socialize with other pups. He's very outgoing and has a great sense of humor that made us feel comfortable with our pup. The reason I'm giving them 4 stars (which might be silly) is because we couldn't go back with our pup during shots. When she had gotten her Rabies shot, my mother-in-law heard her scream in pain and it was terrible to hear. The receptionist at the time told us it was a different dog but when they brought our puppy out, our puppy was quivering in fear/pain. (which I understand) The receptionists can be a hit or miss since it does get hectic from time to time. But regardless - great clinic in Everett. They know their stuff! We will definitely continue to bring our pup to Dr. Vincenzi. read more

This place used to be called Value Vet, now it's called "Intercity Veterinary Hospital". Well you get exactly what you pay for here... Cheap, uneducated doctors.. I brought my cat here a couple years ago because he had a seizure. They did all kinds of work and ultimately diagnosed him with epilepsy and prescribed him phenobarbital twice a day. I remember when they did testing they mentioned his lymph nodes were swollen and just assumed he had an infection and gave some antibiotics. Maybe a year went by and he had one other seizure within that year. Then one day he just didn't want to eat. Brought him back and they did more testing and scans and then said he had fluid built up in his abdomen and he wasn't looking good. Said he might have lymphoma Cancer and I need to take him to an Oncologist for more testing. I did that. Turns out he never had epilepsy, his beginning seizure was from his lymph nodes being attacked by cancer and it caused him a seizure and by the time ( a year later after they misdiagnosed him with epilepsy) that I took him to the oncologist they said it had already spread to his major organs.. was also informed lymphoma is the leading cancer in felines. So my question is, when I originally took him in and they told me he had swollen/enlarged lymph nodes, then why didn't they do more testing or recommend going to get more tests to make sure it wasn't cancer and was in fact epilepsy like they diagnosed him with? Y'all are the professionals right? Shouldn't you have known lymphoma could have been a possibility? Sounds like you should have known from what I was told by the Oncologist, and they were even shocked no follow up testing was done after discovering his lymph node problem and seizures. Y'all should have made that connection FIRST and not just automatically diagnose him with epilepsy.. So, in the end my cat was put on phenobarbital medication for a year that he didn't need, misdiagnosed with Epilepsy instead of Cancer by this "vet". I say that term loosely! My cat unfortunately ended up passing away from his Cancer. It hurts to think that if this place actually put in the effort and care with his testing and diagnosis that they could have caught his cancer early before it spread. He was only 4 when he passed, 3 when they diagnosed him with Epilepsy... My cat could possibly still be alive today if he had gotten the right diagnosis and then got treatment with the Oncologist. I WILL NEVER bring another pet of mine to this place and I highly recommend nobody else does either!! If you truly care for your fur baby and want the best treatment, pay a little more and take them to a more reputable vet. This place is not it! read more

This veterinarian hospital doesn't give a damn about your animals. They want your wallet. The veterinarian doesn't even read the chart and knows if your animal is a boy or a girl. They don't care! They charge over $600 for a visit! The doctor could really care less of your concerns, or your description of symptoms. They just insist that they can run a lot of tests that will run you into the thousands of dollars and then don't bother returning calls if they have any results yet. These people only want money. They look at your animal like a dollar sign not like a family remember. I would never go here ever again. Why would these people get into animal medicine if they don't care about animals? read more

Edit: This morning we woke up to my dog having a huge, terrible hot spot all over his abdomen and genital area. His scrotum is quadrupled in size from all of the irritation and swelling and he is in immense pain. This is because his Apoquel prescription wasn't approved when I ordered it from Chewy and Chewy contacted Value Vet for the prescription multiple times and never heard back, therefore they had no choice but to cancel my order all the while I thought it was being delivered. Huge hot spots like this can be totally prevented by giving Apoquel, normally we can treat them at home as long as we catch them early and clip the fur and keep everything clean. Unfortunately since Nugget went multiple days without his medication, the hot spot got gigantic and went from completely normal, intact skin to a huge infected hot spot in a few short hours while we slept. I called Value Vet and explained the problem with them not responding to Chewy and told them that as a result Nugget has a terrible, painful hot spot that will require veterinary care. They denied any wrongdoing, said Chewy did not contact them. WTF Why would Chewy lie? They want people to buy medication from them, I was signed up for monthly delivery, Chewy absolutely DID contact them and they failed to fax the prescription. With covid it has been difficult to get vet appointments without scheduling weeks in advance, I told Value Vet that Nugget needed to be seen today or needed antibiotics, pain meds, anti inflammatory meds and Apoquel. Despite Nugget being a patient for years, they will not make room for emergencies even if they have caused them. They will only fill the Apoquel which has an active prescription. I asked if they could suggest a vet that he could be seen at and they told me to take him to an animal hospital. If vets cannot get current clients in for a month they should stop taking new clients. But they won't because they don't care about providing good veterinary care. I spent over an hour contacting every vet within 50 miles, including Diamond Hospital which I was told is currently closed. Finally I found a vet, Martha Lake Vet Clinic, that would make room for Nugget despite him not being a current patient. They even called to let me know they could see him earlier since I told them it was an emergency. I am very thankful to Martha Lake Vet for getting Nugget in immediately. Our bill was over $300 due to how severe the hot spot was, sadly it could have been totally prevented if Value Vet sent the prescription that we paid them to send. It's not only the money, though, my dog is in severe pain and that's even worse than being out $300 in the middle of a pandemic where everyone is strapped for cash. I will say the vet techs are kind and caring and the little blonde receptionist (or she may be a vet tech) is also wonderful and they have always tried to help me and been kind to my dog. Unfortunately due to repeated poor care we won't be returning again. We've been taking our dog here for over a year, I loved Dr. Vincenzi but he no longer seems to work there and the other vets we've seen haven't been ones I'd like to continue getting veterinary care from. Getting someone on the phone is challenging, you get through and are then placed on hold for 20 minutes before you can talk to anyone. Even when going there everything takes 10x longer than necessary because they don't have enough employees. Last time we went there it took 45 minutes to check out because there were only 2 vet techs and 1 receptionist. read more

I was so worried about my dog being so itchy and they were so kind to me and my puppers. It turned out to be fleas! I never found them so I was afraid it was mange or something bad. I felt a little silly for bringing her in for what turned out to be fleas, but the care we received today was genuine and focused on the well being of my itchy golden husky Shepard mix. They even checked her all over for anything else that could be alarming and to my relief she is in great health. The staff was. Irving but awesome even though she is the loudest possible animal. They made sure and they care so much I really had a pleasant experience today and I'm certainly feeling relieved. This is a great group and knowledgeable animal lovers read more

She said something about it being too big... well they get a mask that fits. Its REQUIRED. And then a customer comes in with his bandana mask down on his chin and she says nothing. I brought my litter of puppies in here for their first check up and first round of vaccines. They check out healthy and we took them home with no problems. Two days later all four of my dogs are on their last leg literally waiting to die. I call the vet they told me to bring the four puppies in for a 170$ parvo test. They just got vaccinated for pavo and you want to test them for it? Then hang up on my wife when she asked for lawyer contact information. We understand how vaccines work that's why we asked why would a 170$ test be required for antibodies that where just injected in them 2 days prior. Shady business all the way!! I took my dog there about a year ago right after we rescued her to set up a home vet. Everything was good until my dog got sick last May. I took her there and all they cared about was her teeth. My dog was in pain and all I got was a lecture about her teeth. She ended up getting emergency surgery at another place. I took her somewhere else and they did her shots and exam with me in the room instead of taking her away like this place does. They just seem money hungry, so be careful. read more

EDIT: After reading other reviews I will be finding her a different vet. It's clear this one has fallen on hard times but it doesn't look like they care to the same extent anymore. Due to a heavy background in animal care and nutrition I am no longer comfortable sending her here. Took my dog in for a check up, she's a one and a half year old blue nose pitbull, and the vet said she's "too vocal" and even though they weren't bad vocalizations he said it "makes people feel unsafe because she's a pitbull". The same vet told me the first time I brought her in that I should look into a behaviorist. I've brought my other dog here multiple times but honestly I don't appreciate the discriminatory remarks against my dog breed. She's nothing but well socialized and friendly. read more

The options and support not only I received but my animal received were of top quality care. They walked me through every bit of what was going on and what they wanted to do, I asked what they needed more (I couldn't afford both an x-ray and blood work) they told me they needed the x-ray more. We went ahead with that, within a few days the dr was back with me promptly and explained everything very detailed and knowledgeable way that I could still understand. I would highly recommend taking your animals here, the staff was caring and helpful aswell as kind and full of understanding. read more

I have been taking all four of my dogs here for quite some time, and usually have excellent customer service. The staff is great and understanding, and take care of me every time I've brought my animals here. However, the customer service I got today blew my mind. I called because I was having issues getting prescription filled, despite paying the 10.00 fee associated with getting it filled. The man I talked to on the phone, Micah, was so rude to me I could not believe it. He was yelling at me, didn't let me get a word in, and then proceeded to HANG UP ON ME. wow. I have worked in the service industry for years and have never encountered anything even remotely close to this. I really wanted to give more stars but just couldn't. They desperately need to be staffed more. I understand with COVID things are challenging but the customer service has gone downhill. I'm sure the girls at the counter are doing their best, but being placed on hold for 30+ minutes is unacceptable. No one bothered to check in and apologize for the delay or anything. You just feel ignored. I'm in healthcare and if my patients have to wait, I make sure that I check in periodically to assure them they haven't been forgotten. The check-in/check-out process takes a long time as well. Management should really consider a better workflow if they don't want to lose patients to other businesses. read more

If you care about your pets, take them elsewhere. Paid over $600 to have a tumor removed from my pet, only to find out after I picked her up that they removed the wrong tumor and on the wrong side of her body! There was a clear lack of communication that the surgeon admitted, and they offered to do another surgery and remove the initial tumor for free. No thank you. I immediately made arrangements with new vet to have her stitches removed and to get a second opinion. I requested to have all records transferred, which they weren't. The new vet questioned why a biopsy wasn't done BEFORE opting for surgery. (??!) Good question. Biopsy was ordered and the initial tumor in question was nothing more than a cyst -- no surgery needed. At this point I feel a refund is mandatory and will be looking into legal options. read more

Something has changed. Just not the same. Came in for a regular nail trim for my beagle (who has been coming here for 11 years). There were only a couple people in the lobby who were waiting to buy dog food. No pets waiting. I checked in at 2:10PM. After waiting for 25 minutes, I asked how much longer it would be. The cashier went back to check on someone to help me. After a few more minutes, the young girl came out to escort my little guy to the back. My beagle has always been very nervous about nail trims and he usually cries pretty loudly during the procedure; the main reason I bring him to the vet for nail trims. This time he didn't make a peep. I asked what was different, and she said that her and another girl just talked to him and fed him treats to distract him while they cut his nails. That was great, or so I thought it was great until I saw his nails. They didn't even look like they were trimmed at all. I had the cashier come out to look at them, and she agreed. She went back to talk to the trimmer girl, and the trimmer girl said she didn't want to cut him too close because she didn't want to make him bleed. I raised an eyebrow. So the cashier gave me a discount. Which I appreciated, but really questioned if I should have paid at all. I now plan to look elsewhere for nail trims for my dog. read more

Underwhelming. The waitng area is void of any decor and lined with uncomfortable chairs. The woman behind the desk had no clue about customer service. Soooo unfriendly...with the personality of an old wet sock. I actually asked her if she liked her job...as it appeared she hated it and customers. Absolutely no interest in any of the pets. The room in which we were abandoned had all these old tattered posters that were designed to instill fear and convince unsuspecting pet owners that they needed more expensive procedures. The Vet showed no interest in my beautiful dog, as well. His interest is in upselling and stringing along pet owners by recommending more procedures and services. Shallow and insincere. He took my dog and left me in the stuffy stark room for a long time while he was busy composing lengthy quotes to inspire me to empty my bank account. I was quoted one price on the phone and was shocked when the charges were twice that amount. I was given several quotes for other expensive recommended services. The waiting room was full of unsuspecting pet owners seeking value. I wanted to warn them. Two follow-up appointments were scheduled. I never returned. The place is a poorly run heartless busine$$. Disgusting! Somehow, I didn't see the value of Value Vet. read more

I have brought all of my 4 Chihuahuas and also my Daughters Siberian Husky here. We were treated with compassion and respect from both Dr. Sekhon and Dr. Khanoff. I would highly recommend this Vet. My baby "Mouse" had swollen glands and I was very concerned about what to do and the doctor took wonderful care of her and now she is on her way to recovery. All of our Dogs were vaccinated at this clinic as well for a good price. The girls that work there take pride in there job and are very sweet. read more

My family and I have been taking pets here for the past 15 years and have never had issues. In fact I was shocked about all the bad reviews I seen when I googled the number because that was never our experience. I took my new puppy for a wellness check up and after checking in was given a room after about 5/10 mins. Very fast service unlike some of the current reviews mention. Also the young lady I'm assuming the receptionist who was checking people in was very nice. This is where things went left. When we got to our private room where I've always done check up appts with my pets, the tech said she will have to take her in the back to do the check up alone due to Covid. From my understanding that's where the procedures happen. I have never had any of my pets taken out of the visit room to the back. The tech asked if I was ok with it and I said "uhh no but I guess it's fine because she needs a check up" she told me It wouldn't be long and the vet will come in tell me how the visit went. I was never told about this at any point from making the appointment to check in nor were there any signs posted my puppy would be alone. I thought it was weird but everything is right now due to Covid. The vet Came about 10 minutes later without my dog and told me that everything was fine, about the visit and said "she's a healthy puppy " About three minutes later the same tech brought my puppy back and handed her to me. Immediately I noticed she wasn't spry or herself but didn't think too much of it. The tech told me I can check out and do paper work out front and left. I was about to put the leash on her and noticed that her harness was backwards so I took it off to turn around and she was dozing off while sitting there which was completely out of character for her. We went to the front and my husband was sitting in the waiting room and I handed the puppy to him and he immediately noticed something was off I tried to stand her up and she would not stand or respond to her name or whistling/noises she basically kept dozing off no matter how she was positioned whether it was standing or sitting. I asked the receptionist if I could Talk to the lady who handed me my dog back to see what is wrong or if something happened in the back when she took her. About five minutes later the tech and dr came out. The tech said said nothing happened and that "that's how she came in" and nothing happened to her (Which was very untrue because she walked in on her leash and at that point she would not walk and was dozing off when she stood). The vet was very dismissive and kept asking me what do I think happened to my dog over and over and i asking me "what do you think I gave her vaccine or shot or something" which was very weird. I never even had that thought. The vet and tech were very rude the only one who had some type of compassion was the receptionist which she was the only one trying to rectify the whole situation and help even while she was getting the brunt of my anger about my dog. She even try to offer for the vet to check my dog out again... which was a HELL NO! The vet left, like got in his car and left (maybe he was off). It was all too weird for me. I'm extremely upset about my puppy and will never recommend or return to this place. They never called or email to followed up to check if she is ok. My dog is showing signs of a concussion so I will be taking her to get checked out from another vet. This is very Unfortunate because this is where me and my family have been going for over 15+ years.I will never recommend this place or return. My family and I brought our very sick 18 year old dog there with the intent to have her euthanized because she was declining fast and it was very obvious to us she was suffering. After 18 years we knew her inside and out. She was blind, deaf, had a brain tumor, heart failure, seizures, and could barely walk anymore, on of her back legs had no strength in it anymore. The last few days she wasn't eating anymore and she had bloody stool. The vet very coldly stated that he would not euthanize her because refused and said "her body is still in good condition, I want her on her deathbed before I'll feel comfortable euthanizing." Despite everything I listed above. I asked him What about her quality of life? Her dignity? Her soul? He had absolutely no compassion. read more

I originally found this office many, many moons ago and went in because they took walk in patients. My cat had a wound, needed to be seen, and there was no emergency office visit charge. That was YEARS ago and they were good. That was the old regime... the new regime, I LOVE THEM! My English Mastiff had swelling in her neck, she needed to be seen ASAP! Remembering Value Vet took walk ins (which is OLD information, I think they will still see walk ins, but now they take appointments!) I sent my husband with my dog. She needed emergency surgery to remove necrotic tissue from her neck. She popped her stitches, my husband had to bring her back in (the were stitches on the back of her neck, it was not Dr. V's fault, it was a risk with the placement of the stitches, had to be done, big dog, she popped them.). My husband was out of work, so I working as much as possible to provide for the family, so I couldn't be there. I love my husband, but he's not good at passing on the necessary info, so I called for clarification. Expecting to talk to front desk, maybe a tech, but noooooo! Dr. V got on the phone and he explained what was going on, what to watch for, the changes in meds, I got to ask all the questions I wanted, he spent as long as I needed on the phone. Yeah, that's pretty awesome! Well, Lexi has an autoimmune issue, hence the need for more meds. All the follow up visits were done at no charge. My dog popped her stitches like they feared, I make them look at it, no charge... that is excellent service! She eventually recovered and life was good so I brought her in to get spayed. Easy, right? Routine, right?!? Nope. I requested Dr. V because my whole family thinks he's awesome. My dog is my soulmate, she loves the family, but she is my dog and I'm her person. Knowing she has had issues in the past, the only person I wanted responsible for her health was Dr. V. I don't know the owner vet (Dr. V is an associate doctor, he does not own the practice, he must be good if he hired Dr. V, but I wanted someone who knows her and her history!). That was a great idea! Lexi had cysts on her ovaries. There weren't any complications that were unexpected nor unusual for such a large breed, but the cysts may tie in with her autoimmune issues. So glad Dr. V was there to connect the dots! They had TONS of chances to "pad the bill", today for example, Dr. V asked if I wanted the cysts sent to the lab for analysis, I asked him what he thought (he's the doctor, he knows better than I do) and he straight up told me no, there's not much that the lab could tell us. Well, I was not expecting much with a name like "Value vet". But, I was pleasantly surprised. This clinic is amazing. With the exception of a rather long wait time before getting seen... This is one of the best vet experiences I have EVER had. Dr Robinette really really cares about your pet in a very genuine way. She is such a breath of fresh air, and fun to talk to.. and so so so SMART. I have been to vets at more expensive clinics who come off as "fake nice" and just try to process you quickly to make their buck (especially when they know you are not made of money and you are not going to buy every bell and whistle they offer you). You will not experience that here. Their front counter people are just as inviting and kind. Which is such a relief when you have to wait a while to be seen. Even if I could afford a fancy clinic, I would still love to come here. You can't buy genuinely good people. I wish they allowed a mix of appointments/walk in though. Currently, they ONLY do appointments if you are getting surgery, or a procedure done on your pet. $40 appointments + cost of meds or any lab work, ect. Medications included, I got my dog taken care of for a $80 and I was treated better then any place I had been to before. That is pretty rad. read more

3 years ago we took our kitty in to be looked at because she was very sick. The Veterinarian told us she had kidney cancer. He gave her an IV and gavevus meds to keep her comfortable. 2 days later my kitty died at home, comfortable and surrounded by her loved ones. The next day that Veterinarian called me to check up on her, he was soooo sweet to me when I told him of her passing. He told me there was nothing any of us could have done to prevent this. Took my cat in a few months ago for general concerns about her behavior (tail limp, hiding, throwing up, etc). Got there about 15 minutes after they opened, so wait time wasn't a problem. All the staff were very gentle and patient with my cat. The nurse waited until my cat stepped out of her carrier (which took her a bit since she was a little scared) before picking her up. The vet addressed her concerns that my cat weighed less than she did last year, was dehydrated, and her kidneys were a bit small. So another nurse came back with a quote for how much it would be to run some tests on her to find out what's wrong. The itemized receipt is as follows: Fluids S.Q. Under 40 lbs - $49 Urinalysis-Add On - $30 Geriatric Panel-Feline (Antech) - $110 Blood Collection/Lab Prep. Multiple $16 Exam (Office Call) - $45 Total: $250 Not so sure about the affordable pricing, especially for a vet clinic that doesn't take appointments unless it's for surgery. To me they don't really save you much money, but with nice staff like they have at Value Vet, it may well be worth it. read more

This is place is the worst!!! I've experienced way better - but I guess you get what you pay for, which is not much. It's always busy on Saturdays, which is expected. But the receptionist (who's worked there a long time) instead of saying Hi or Welcome, she immediately tells everyone "it's busy and I'm short staffed." I understand the situation, but this may not be the best business practice to set every person walking through the door with this mentality, that not only can you not handle the amount of traffic, but you don't have the ability to do so. Hmmm....you may want to think of a better welcome greeting. I waited almost 2 hours to be seen, which I'm okay with in general. But if your new to this location, just be prepared. 2 of the seasoned vets who have been here forever left, and so I was greeted by a new female vet who was just about the worst experience ever. I came in because my dog had his first bout of fleas ever. She proceeded to tell me that my dog was too thin (that's funny, because every vet I've seen said he had to lose weight), and after she asked if he had a dewormer in a while, I shrugged and said I didn't recall. Then promptly she was gone and a nurse came in and BAM - gave him a dewormer. Not only did no one formally ask me if this is what I wanted, but no permission was given AT ALL. She then took a look at his eyes, which i was concerned about and gave me medication for it. She again, didn't ask me if I wanted the medication or anything. So, as I'm checking out and paying my bill, it's almost double what I thought it was going to be, because the vet was sneaky and tacked on a bunch of stuff I never EVEN asked for or gave permission about. I was so angry I asked to speak to the business manager, who then apologized and gave me a refund on the things I didn't ask for. This place robs you blind and is not really caring about animals at all. I think in general, the vet literally took two seconds to look at the real issue, which was fleas. But instead, spent the rest of the time, giving me items that I had to pay for and didn't ask for. It's just a business wanting to make money!!! Go somewhere else! read more

I'm not sure why this place is called "Value Vet" because it's pretty much the standard fee everywhere charges. However, they did a nice job with my cat and correctly diagnosed him and treated him. I appreciate that because Diamond Veterinary Associates on Rucker cost me $750 in dental surgery which did NOTHING to help him. Value Vet also gave me good advice on over the counter things I could buy to help him, and that's value, right? My only caveat with this business was that it was filthy. I only went in once, so I don't know if that's always the case, but it was enough to make me not go back. It was the waiting room, there was about half an inch of pet hair in there and all the couches were dirty. The exam table was metal and very sterile looking, but it didn't give me a lot of confidence. read more

I cannot say enough GREAT things about Dr. Robinett and this vet clinic stafff. Unfortunately we have had to utilize their services for urgent care matters twice in the last month with our cat Taffy. The service, care, and complete understanding and knowledge was outstanding. Dr. Robinett truly cares about the animals she cares for and takes the time to explain everything. Amazing experience. Taffy stepped on the stovetop and burned her paw - Dr. Robinett used the laser on her paw and it was like a miracle! The paw has healed so quickly it seems like magic. Never take your animal here. They really should take the "value" part out of their name because all they want to do is rip you off. We took my Siamese cat here about a year ago because she was having issues. My cat isn't thrilled about the vet. She's a fighter for sure but they couldn't handle her at all. They dumped her out of the carrier and wondered why she hissed and tried to claw anyone that handled her. They traumatized her to be honest. And the second time we took her in we were waiting in the room and we could hear the vet techs loudly talking about how awful my cat is and how they don't want to handle her. How unprofessional! They had to drug her to handle her while the vet we saw today handled her so well and saw no reason to do that. And then there was the cost. They diagnosed my cat with cancer and told us the surgery to remove it would cost $1k-$1.2k. The vet we took her to today quoted us $300-400. She's had cancer for a year because these guys wanted to over charge us. They also told us that they did a biopsy for her cancer and charged us over $300 for that particular procedure. The vet she saw today told us that the procedure they charged us for was not, in fact, a biopsy but a much simpler procedure that truly should have only cost about $100. So unless you want to be overcharged and have the vet techs mishandle, traumatize, and then talk about how much of a nightmare your pet is amongst themselves, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. read more

I will never ever take my pets to this place! First time, I had to wait extra 30'. The dr. was superficial in terms of providing instructions . Second time, again, late in checking in with the waiting area full with other patients. On the top of it the nurse who took my kittens was not wearing. Actually, she said she has one extremely dirty... No way!!!! I asked to speak with a manager or a dr. No one is available was the answer!!! read more

Switched to this vet clinic because my previous one was getting too expensive. One day I noticed my dog had a swollen leg. I brought her in here and they ran some tests. It turned out that she had a sarcoma. Cancer. I was devastated. The ladies in the office are amazing and answered all the questions I had or had a Dr call me. The entire staff here is very knowledgeable and will take the time to answer your questions. My dog needed an amputation in order for her to get rid of the cancer. When I dropped her off the ladies informed me that the surgery would take a couple hours and I should feel free to call as much as I want to check on her. I did call in once and they were patient and very caring. I called more after I took her home, I had so many questions. Again they were patient and knowledgeable. And answered all my questions. Its been about 6 weeks and my little tripawd is doing great! Thank you all so much! read more

I have 4 cats and a dog. I take all my animals here for all their needs. The staff is very friendly and helpful and truly loves all the animals that come through the door. The office is very clean and the Dr's are amazing. Very good bedside manner. They have always taken very good care of all my babies. They are also very reasonably priced. Dr. Robinette has always been extremely thorough in her examinations. She answers all of our questions, lays out our options, and respects our wishes. She even sent us a condolence card when we had to put our 15 year old kitty to sleep due to kidney failure. She is the only one that I know outside of our family that can handle my brother's semi-feral cat without hurting him or getting hurt. They helped us treat his broken leg when he was 10 months old with as little medical intervention as possible. The staff are all kind and courteous people who adore all of their furry clients and understand the value of a calm environment for stressed out pets. read more

Giving a 1 star review is giving too much.. I have been bringing my dogs to value vet since 2009 (for shots only). After being led on that he had a "Hotspot" which turned out to be cancer (cancer diagnosed at diamond animal hospital). I have decided to close my account and never refer another family member there to value vet again. I had to make the sad heartbreaking choice to have my dog euthanized at diamond animal hospital yesterday ( unexpectedly) We had our dog for 8 years.. He was aging but still had life left in him at least 3-5 years left. We had 3 different vets see our dog more than 4 different times and they didn't explore all areas. You do not get what you pay for here... Do not even consider this place. . read more

I wrote a review on Google couple months ago about this place and I'm pretty sure it's only gotten worse since. Stopped by to pick up my dogs allergy medication that my dog has been taking for 2 years. The price seemed 2 times more then what I usually pay so I asked the front desk lady about it right away got defensive and rude and kept repeating this is what u been paying. Definitely not what I have been paying. she with an attitude stormed to the back and changed my prescriptions to the regular dose and rudly rung me up. If they treat there customers that way can't imagine how they treat my dog. It's definitely time to look for a better vet it has been nothing but problems with them the last year. The manager tried to say it's because they are short staffed due to covid but it's no excuse to treat people the way they have been treating me. read more

UPDATE: my dog had to be put down. Because of the negligence of the staff, my dog is now dead. IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET DO NOT TAKE THEM HERE! They almost killed my dog. My dog was recently diagnosed with diabetes and NO ONE from the Value Vet team gave me the correct information on how to treat my dog. I got more information from Mud Bay than these money grubbing idiots. They ran a series of tests on my dog but never gave me the information needed to properly care for my dog. After three weeks of doing what I thought was correct care according to the information given by the vet techs and vets my dog had 4 times the normal glucose levels, was not eating, would throw up anything he drank and was on the verge of going into a diabetic coma. When I brought him back to them they tried to make me feel bad because I "wasn't taking care" of my dog. They have no idea what they are doing and will kill your animal if you take them here. read more

I have been with Value Vet for more than ten years. They have always treated my dogs well. When I was dealing with a reactive and aggressive dog, they assisted me with any hairbrained idea I wanted to try. They never said no. They never told me to give up on him. But when it was clear that my poor boy would never find peace, they helped me to let him go with empathy and compassion.
