Mulberry's is the place I bring my garments to be cleaned and repaired when I need to have things done perfectly. I live near this location and while there are other cleaners in the area and they are also less expensive (they are almost NYC prices), these guys just do an excellent job at pressing, cleaning, and repairing, that I keep coming back. I especially like the way they carefully press my dress shirts without adding back any small creases and they press the collar area without flattening it. Very nice touch. read more

I signed up for a subscription and over the course of three months there were three separate pickup/delivery issues. As long as you don't have to contact their "concierge", you will be fine, if you have to communicate with customer service, hold on tight because you'll do better to go to the store and ask for help in person. While they have automation that makes it look like everything is very put together, no one responds to the customer service email address and if you call them you are sent on an endless phone loop waiting for a human until their phone system hangs up on you because there isn't a human to be found. When you call the stores directly they transfer you around until you hang up out of frustration. When you ask how to contact their corporate office, I was directed to the main store which has not a single corporate employee on site. Sadly while the job that is done is excellent, any positive experience has been negated by the poor experience with delivery and corporate communications. I stopped by on my way to work to drop off a few items for cleaning and was in & out in less than 3 minutes. I got a text when my clothes were ready 2 days later, and used the drive thru line to pick up. I had friendly, professional, speedy service all the way through, and my clothes are looking great! Bonus: the hangers my clothes were returned on are nice, sturdy hangers that I'll continue using. I also had an item lost by Mulberry's. A word of advice: If you have anything of value that you want cleaned, be sure to ask about insurance when bringing in your item(s). Confirm that you have appropriate coverage for your item in case it is lost or damaged, and get this in writing. Here's my story: I brought in a family heirloom tablecloth with an estimated replacement value of $400. Its sentimental value is priceless. Mulberry's in-store staff failed to escalate the issue or have anyone contact me to offer support. After more than three trips to the store to inquire about the lost item, I was finally provided a business card with a contact. Though the contact responded quickly to my email, they ultimately failed to locate the item. They claimed there was no video footage to track how the item left the location and that their payment system was down at the time, preventing them from tracking the purchase or release of the item. They offered store credit, but at a fraction of the fair market value. I assume incidents like this are rare, and I'm surprised they would not offer fair market value for the item to retain a customer when they failed to meet their standards. Like another dissatisfied customer, I do not want store credit. I no longer trust them to care for any of my garments. I might have a different perspective if I believed they would always do the right thing, but I have come to learn that this is not one of their core values. read more

On the plus side they do a very nice job with cleaning. On the minus side the prices and fees - dry cleaning in particular - are a HUGE ripoff. Brought in 4 sweaters for service, $75 + tax. Really?? Mulberry's tacks on additional "surcharges" like pet hair removal and "premium label" (i.e sweaters with a Polo or Ben Sherman label). The term "nickel and dime" could not be more apt when it comes to this establishment. Yes, they claim their delivery and pickup is "free" but at these prices it really isn't. Avoid this place. Or better yet, just buy some new, clean outfits - it's cheaper. read more

I used to love this place and had such high hopes. I dropped off a blazer to be cleaned and was so disappointed that the gal working was not wearing a mask at all. I thought maybe she took it off when no one was there but when I returned to pick up my items the woman was not wearing a mask. There is a state wide mandate and it is disappointing to see a business not enforcing it. When i went to pick up my items, the interior of the store was a mess and there were garmet bags all around and it was just not welcoming at all. The blazer had a spot on it when I dropped it off and while it was slightly fixed there was still debris left indicating to me that the effort was not put in, despite me calling this out the woman when I gave it to get cleaned. The service here used to be amazing and now the service is lackluster, the safety precautions are not there, the cleanliness of the store is not great.. read more

I brought in a down coat that I had washed in cold water on delicate cycle. This is what the tag had said to do. When I took it out of the washer it was as flat as a pancake. I let it dry naturally and it stayed flat with some areas of down/feathers stuck together in small balls. I thought I had ruined it for good. They sent me an email when it was ready to be picked up which was a day earlier than what they had originally told me which was a nice surprise. When I picked it up it looked brand new!!! I was so impressed! I would absolutely recommend Mulberrys Garment Care to anyone who cares about the outcome of their dry cleaned items. read more

Do not trust Mulberry's with your expensive or important garments. I sent in my suit that I am getting married in and it was returned with creases in the wrong places, wrinkles, and a massive STAIN on the lapel! When I returned to the store they did not apologize and acted like it was normal saying that they would "try again". I was told that the item would be ready the next day but it ended up being three days to get my suit back. They did fix the bad pressing and stain but I lost all confidence in their service and still had to pay for the bad pressings. Mulberry's markets themselves as a higher level of dry cleaner, supposedly having a better product and customer service than other local cleaners. I like Mulberrys because they are Eco Friendly. I don't mind paying more for dry cleaning that does not pollute the earth. I returned after my last problem with them not returning a ring that was in my jacket because I wanted to give them another try. I dropped off a suite, a shirt, and my 3 favorite ties. There was a problem with the auto drop off and the items never arrived at my house. After 3 days late I went to pick them up, I am glad I did. All 3 ties were destroyed and I had to look in the bag to see them. The person at the store was going to give them back to me destroyed and charge me for them. After 5 weeks I ended up getting a check to replace the ties. You decided if you want to go there. read more

Horrible first experience. I brought in two vintage down pillows for a sofa. The fabric is hard to find Fortuny. Had them cleaned and one pillow cover required stitching. Six weeks later, I received a text notifying me that items were ready. I picked them up only to find the other cover was missing. I was told it was not back from alternations. I followed up two weeks later and still not back. Last week I received a call that the item was lost. I submitted a receipt and Mulberry's settled for a store credit. This is their policy which I find totally unacceptable because as a first time customer I am done. What I explained is that items which requires dry cleaning are most often expensive. Why would I trust them again. The pillow cover cannot be replaced. They will not budge. They will not have a discussion. They simply want to hid behind email. The owner is now hurling accusations that are not true. I also talked to someone who uses them and they told me that they often misplace things or they get laundry back that is not theirs. This is an addendum to the awesome reviews so far. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!!! The bar has been raised. I have never been happier with a tailor. I took in a bridesmaids dress that was sufficiently torn and I can't believe how well they have restored it, even I can't tell where the tear is. My husband brought in 3 suits and 2 jackets to be tailored and he is equally happy with this place. The tailor is helpful, kind, and she knows what she is doing. I wish this was a better outcome. Do not be fooled by their fancy interior which looks nothing like a working dry cleaners does. First, we consistently have found the customer service at the location closest to us slow and rude. They are more expensive than most other companies. We use a different company now for dry cleaning delivery and pick up. But many high end vendors suggest this company is good for more expensive garments. They ruined a garment of mine, and though I was not seeking compensation, they would not even look at the garment. I work in a different state, and so I was not able to bring the garment back immediately. Regardless, their response was thoughtless and careless. I'd have appreciated even a thought about why the garment came back in such a terrible state. They did not even return a call. I had to email their offices. So beware, if you want something done properly and a company that stands behind their work, this is not it. read more

Be prepared for routine high prices and even higher prices at times. I've been using Mullberry's for the past seven years. Sure, it was expensive but I liked their wooden hangers. But my experiences in 2018 have me looking for a new laundry service. Mulberry's routinely picks up and delivers my cleaning. Two weeks ago I received someone else's order. I called them and fortunately my clothes were at their store. I brought the misdelivered order to them and picked up my order. I asked if I would be compensated for the inconvenience and they took my name and said yes. Two weeks pass by and no credit, not even a we're sorry for the mishap. This week I sent them two sweaters and three shirts. The total for five items came to $46. Some shirts were charged the normal $3.48/shirt (which is pricey to begin with) but others were charged at $. One sweater was charged the listed price of $7.99 (again pricey), but another was $10.98. When I inquired I was told the $7.99 shirts required hand pressing 7.99 (even though the receipt listed each as 'Shirts - Regular Shirt') and the $10.98 sweater had pet hair on it. These prices just seem way too high. read more

I actually joined Yelp to leave a review for this place. This is the second time i've had a terrible experience here. Dropped off repairs to two pairs of pants on a Monday, told they would be ready by Friday. Didn't make it in until Monday, at which point I was told they weren't ready. Fine. Stopped in Tuesday, was told they still weren't ready. Explained to me that they are 'really busy'. And yes, so am I, and I needed them for a work thing. They were delivered free of charge yesterday afternoon. Put a pair on to go to a meeting this morning, half way there I look down and see a huge hole in the seam was left unfixed. Called the store- was told by fellow who answered phone it was essentially 'out of his hands and i needed to communicate with the seamstresses directly.' What a joke.
