We have used this company on three separate occasions. Horrible customer service including management.

Unfortunately I have had nothing but bad service. The refrigerator was installed while I was out of town. The installer did not connect water line and when returning my kitchen was flooded. After it was "repaired" still had no working ice maker. Another repair not done right. Another service call. Of course the problem is always the guy before didn't do it right. Trim needed to be replaced. Service call. Installed. No problem. Next morning ice and frost all inside freezer and frig. Another service call. Answer was the service guy before didn't install the trim creating the seal not working. Now I'm waiting for that service guy. A $5,000 refrigerator and months later stil not installed properly, not working properly. Up to 5 service calls and still counting. l read more

I just moved into the area and found that our microwave was not working in our oven. Mullet came out and told us that a part needed to be ordered and they would call me back with a price. They did not call me back for several days and I finally had to call them and finally someone picked up the phone. Someone had to call me back. When that finally occurred they told me it could not be fixed and that they were out at our place 5 years ago and told the owner then that it could not be fixed. Mullet then preceded to charge me $99 for the visit anyway even though they had already been to our place before and found the microwave could not be fixed!! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! You make it seem I don't want to pay for your service charge when I have already paid you thousands! Now you say I need a $650 part to fix something I already paid you thousands to fix you promised me you would install it free of charge. That was right before the holidays. I said to the lady I was going to think about it and a let her know after the holidays. I even insisted she document it in my file. Of course she SAID she did. We have purchased appliances from Mullets for 2 houses now. The first house went off without a hitch. The second one, not so good. When installing micro/oven combo the installers scrapped up my cabinet pretty good. I reported it, but have not heard one word from Mullets. I also sent our sales person a question regarding the microwave, and have not gotten an answer yet and it has been 2 months. They like selling, but not servicing. read more

I would never use this company again and highly recommend others do not as well. I paid them to come out to fix my washer in early March paid them for the service call and to order a part. Never heard back from them again. I called the, on a weekly basis requesting a Manager call me back, left messages for Keith the Parts Manger on a weekly basis not one call back... after several months of trying to reach them, and out over $100 for the service call I called Appliance Repair of Lakewood Ranch, they came the next day - pulled the part off their truck installed it and was done in 30 minutes. Mullet came to my house to fix my refrigerator. After they left, I saw that they had broken a part of my ice maker so I called. They called back aggressively and rudely denying that they broke anything and that maybe the part broke from taking it out of the freezer into the warmer outside. This is not possible as the part that broke is attached to the inside of the freezer but they wouldn't know this as they have not even investigated. I was only able to speak with receptionist after calling twice. They didn't even work on the freezer part and all frozen food remained frozen. They have taken NO responsibility for this. I purchased a high end washer/dryer set from this company for $3,400 including delivery and set up. The "set up" has been a series of mistakes. Specifically, the company did not have dryer duct hose on the delivery truck (I had to go to a hardware store and buy the duct hose). Additionally the delivery men failed to level the machines. After several calls to the company (most of which were not returned), the company sent the same delivery men to my home to level the appliances - which they did. However, they left without re-connecting the dryer duct hose. In summary, this is a family owned business that is glad to take your money but is sloppy when it comes to installation and certainly does NOT place importance on "customer service after the sale". read more

We purchased the extended warranty from them without knowing that they never have same day service, most of the time the following week, they won't give you a time, you have to wait till the morning of for their call to give you a 2 hr window, they call typically between 930-10 am. I want an appt. ----not to be left hanging till you get their call and then you have to rearrange your day--this does not work for most of us that work. Yes, they do fix the problem normally after several visits but it has taken so much of our time. They need to change their approach to repair and get techs out there by 8 am and offer appt times in advance. The techs are good and they can't control this company policy so I hope someone that can change it will step up. read more

Very professional, honest and fair service for your appliances. We have a Sub-Zero Built in fridge. They are the only authorized servicer. They have a tech named Keith that knows his business. The Sub-Zero is a very expensive appliance but has serviceable parts and you can keep these appliances working for a long long time. The company (Sub-Zero) has been easy to work with and helps to pay for parts even though the unit is far out of warranty. You may find someone that is cheaper than Mullet, but they will send you someone that is competent and solves the problem. read more

I bought all new appliances for my kitchen and laundry from Mullet's but when I needed to get a replacement part for my oven I had to call and leave several messages which went unanswered. On my third attempt, I finally got to speak to someone in the parts department and was told he would research and get back to me. That was over a month ago so I gave up and found what I needed at another appliance dealer. I won't go out of my way to buy from Mullet's again. read more

I have never been so disappointed in a place as Mullet's that had great reviews and one thing after another keeps going wrong. We received all of our appliances but our dishwasher and each month they tell us it is coming that was in Aug now it is almost Jan and still no dishwasher. They install the fan over the stove with no circulations device still waiting. Today they were supposed to fix our wine cooler that keeps beeping and will waiting they just called to say they had the wrong zip code so it would have to be another day. Mullet's has great service and they service what they sell. Today, I called to get my Sub Zero refrigerator repaired as the ice maker and door water dispenser stopped working and a red light came on over the water dispenser. Rather than make a house call for $100.00 for a visit, one of the repair people called to tell me to press and hold the water button on the door for 5 seconds which would reset and unlock the water and ice dispenser. This simple phone call saved me $100.00. read more

Reading all the reviews - most of them were very negative and basically expressing lack of customer service along with cheap excuses. Looking at their website the owners praising customer service comes first, but actually at least their branch manager (Jarred) is certainly not living up to it. We called for their service telling them that the blower of our hood is not functioning anymore. They send a guy who didn't bother to wear a face mask, neither gloves. He pushed to 2 buttons and then (surprise) told us the blower is not working and left. We got a call a few days later stating that they don't repair or replace blowers. I then tried for several times to reach the branch manager, left mutliple voice mails and after many attemps he was kind enough to take my calls. There was not one moment where he was understandable that I dont want to pay for their "service", which wasn't helpful at all, neither he gave us any indication how to fix our problem. When asked why his guy didn't followed the rules in respect to the Corona crisis, he had the nerve telling me, I should have required that the guy should wear masks and gloves. There was no apology, no interests to waive the so called "service charge". For sure we and our friemds now know where we won't buy appliances anymore. read more

DON'T USE THEM for repair or parts. After me delivering them a dryer to repair, they wanted upwards of $220 for a simple replacement of a door switch!! Instead, I purchased the switch and replaced it myself. It took 15 minutes, at most. I bought the part from Mullets and they charged me upwards of $50. Later I went to the Whirlpool website, and found they charge full retail from Whirlpool $22 for the exact same part.... While wandering around their store, I noticed they do not post prices of the appliances they sell. I shutter to imagine what their prices are for the appliances they sell, compared to what the manufacturers suggest the retail price should be.... If you have money to waste, use Mullets. Otherwise, I would shop else where. read more

We contacted mullet had them come out because our freezer was making a loud fan compressor noise. The tech came and disassembled the ice drawer to get to the compressor. (For him to tell me they could not hear the noise so they would have to come back or to call them when it made the noise again or send a video ?!?!?) He put the ice drawer back but did not check the tracks and the first time we opened the ice bin the bearings for the track want flying all over the place. We contacted them about the railing they needed to fix right away and left them voicemail. I sent them pictures and video so that they knew what needed to be fixed they ignored me for 3-4 weeks then they said they needed to send the tech out to see what the problem was with the railing. Keep in mind I had sent them pictures and video. Than I check again with them and they tell me the railing are no longer made so I am on my own if I can find the part they would come and install them but that they could not source the part out. Their solution was for me to loose my ice drawer.?!?!? And source my own part if I could. I asked for the office manager to call me back. I left messages for him to call me and he did not. About a month later they called and wanted to now fix the rails. Meanwhile I sourced out the bearings on my own and installed it on my own. My original problem was not fixed since they could not diagnose the noise?!???. They charged me for the original call and broke my rails and did not fix them. And made me waste well over 1 month for nothing and time off to wait for the tech for nothing. The tech was nice but obviously did not pay attention to the original problem and cause a second problem. The office was the worst ( Peggy) if I remember her name right should get her manors adjusted. I was a very polite, forgiving and patient paying customer looking to get this situation resolved and she could careless. As for the manager he did nothing either. read more

1/23/19 I was told there is a $99 diagnostic fee to come out and look at our microwave and if it was repairable the $99 would be deducted from any repair cost and that the earliest diagnostic appointed was 1/29. Even though this wasn't the most prompt service response I elected to wait. A very nice and competent man came and diagnosed the problem to be a TCO part - I already knew was an inexpensive part. I was told someone would contact us soon with the repair cost. The next day Mullet called to say the job would be $262.70 total which broken down was $44.51 for the part, $132.00 labor and $69.00 for the service fee which represented a $30 discount off the $99. I explained I was told the full $99 would be deducted if I did the repair when I called on 1/23/19. I requested to speak with the svc mgr and tried to explain to him (Jarrad) what I was told. He first said they changed their policy in 2010 to only give $30 off the $99 and that when they took my credit card on 1/23 to book the appointment this policy "popped up on the screen for the appointment person". I explain the appointment person did not explain anything about only getting $30 back off the $99. Jarred also said Mullet's changed their policy in 1974!!! I said to him "a minute ago you said you changed your policy in 2010 - what is 1974 and your website shows nothing about this. I will not be doing business with them except to pick up the part they claimed they have ordered and to pay them the $99 for a terrible misrepresentation of their diagnostic fee. If I could give them a minus 0 rating I would. Very disappointing experience. read more

Was fortunate enough to have Gail Locke assist with the purchase of new appliances for my kitchen. She knows the inventory cold. Even came to my house to see the space and recommend what would fit. With the installation of my wall oven, she referred me to an outside vendor who remodeled the existing space. Cannot be happier. Besides being knowledgeable, she is friendly and will go the extra mile to be sure you are satisfied. read more

I have been a customer of Mullets since the 1980's having purchased my large household appliances exclusively from them. Several weeks ago my Meile Washer broke. I called Mullets and described the problem over the phone. Despite the machine being only 7 years old, I was told it was unrepairable and was advised to purchase a new machine. Regardless, and "just to be sure", Mullets sent a technician to my home. He quickly verified what Mullet's had already told me over the phone. Weeks later I received a quote in excess of $3200 for repairs to the machine, which I declined. Now, over 7 weeks later, Mullets has charged $124.00 to my debit card for the service call. I called to inquire about that and was told quite rudely that, "We don't work for free, that is why we keep your card information on file". I do not know how much money in service calls and purchases I have paid to Mullets over the past 37 years and do recognize service calls come with a fee, however, had I known their service fees had become so expensive I would not have agreed to let them send the technician at all. I am very disappointed. I have been a good customer over these long years and it saddens me to be treated so shabbily. Clearly I won't be able to use Mullets in the future. read more

I have read the other reviews and I had to write this. I used them to purchase a very nice induction range and a very nice hood that could suck a small child through the roof. Been some time since I purchased but never thought to write a review. Sales was great the service was great. We did NOT have a setup for a hood in our kitchen. Aka the hole in the roof. They brought a great roofer and installers that did a spectacular job. We had one small electrical issue with our hood " manufacture issue " and they contacted them for us and sent out replacement parts. Living in Sarasota now for over two years and have spoken to many that love mullets that don't write reviews on Yelp. I spent upwards of just over 7 k there and would love to spend 20,000 more. Don't let the nay Sayers sway you. Spend 30 minutes in store and you won't go anywhere else. read more

I had Mullet's out to my house to fix a Jenn-Air Electric Lanai Grill...I will never use them again. The 2 heating elements were under warranty, so I had the parts for part of the problem delivered free from Whirlpool. The grill also had a broken infinite switch, which I had diagnosed myself...not under warranty. A nice technician came out and installed the 2 new elements I had and affirmed I had a broken infinite switch which could be ordered. I assumed the work he had done installing the elements was covered under the "service charge"....it took less than 1 hour to do. He said they would call with an estimate for the switch and installation. When they called today, the total charges for the infinite switch ($54), service charge, labor and tax would be $387. (Including replacing the elements). Way out of line for this job. Totally ridiculous. read more

I had great service from them about three years ago when I bought a new dishwasher. So when my out of warranty Viking refrigerator stopped working, I called Mullet's. They sent a guy, Matt, out the next day but that was the end of any kind of service. It took them more than three weeks and two false starts to fix the refrigerator - all this time we had no refrigerator. There was no written communication supporting a bill for $1200 that i was told I had to pay over the phone or they would not proceed. I had to track down the service manager, Jared, to find out what was going on and still no written communication. i never did understand completely what had been done and the invoice I got after several requests was not descriptive and inconsistent with what I had been told originally; like one of the other reviewers, I was told that the $99 diagnostic fee would be applied to any parts and service. After the fact, i was told that only $30 would be applied. A scam? More importantly, they do not guarantee their work or the new parts; my fault for not asking but I was desperate to get my refrigerator fixed. Remember, this was $1200. I've purchased many appliances from them over those years and have always been impressed by the products they sell and their amazing customer service. The sales, service and parts department are staffed with the most knowledgeable people I've ever dealt with in this industry. I can not be any happier with the quality of the repairs/service, sales and delivery/installation departments. I had an appliance that needed repairs. The technician fully explained what was wrong and how much it was to repair my outdated ice maker. I then asked the sales department for an equivalent replacement and they found one for me for less than I could find on the internet, then had it delivered and installed within 5 days. The delivery/installers were quick, on-time, prompt and very professional. Thanks Mullets' for getting me ready for the upcoming football season!!! read more

I only give a 4 because of some of the employees me or my friends have encountered. I had a good encounter with mike! He did a great job and truly cared about my situation... I had one bad experience with a guy at mullets and thankfully they didn't send him again!! I have talked to other friends who have used mullets and I only recommend them because of mike, I'm not one to say names on here of the bad ones because it's not my place, but my friends had a good experience with josh and bob!! Recently purchased a refrigerator, microwave oven, dishwasher and a slide in induction range all from Mullets and installed by them. This project spanned 3 months for ordering everything and installation. Our salesperson regularly called with updates. Installation was flawless. The built in microwave oven had to be replaced twice, but that was done and we were given a 6 year parts and labor warranty for the inconvenience. Our salesperson was highly knowledgeable, courteous and made the whole process seem easy. The wait and time delays were the manufacturers problem, and again Mullets came through in winning ways for us. The Mullets staff in sales, install, parts and warranty ALL were very professional and helpful in every way. A long standing family business, they treated us like family too. we purchased a new kitchen aid refrigerator for $2,803.13, september of 2019, and took delivery 9-24-2019. the ice maker broke two weeks later. we have had a total of 5 service calls within 12 weeks of taking delivery on this refrigerator and it has stopped making ice and water all together. we have requested to speak to the service manager and the sales manager but they do not return our calls. i strongly recommend that others do not purchase appliances from this store. i have filed a compliant with the attorney general and intend to dispute the purchase, which was paid by credit card. we have requested that the refrigerator be replaced but they say it's not up to them. really! consumers are not stupid!! read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. Ordered a high end microwave and dishwasher, with plans to order refrigerator drawers and a whole new kitchen. Extremely nice installers arrived to install microwave and dishwasher. We quickly found out the wrong size microwave was ordered, and the dishwasher was ordered with the wrong handle. Installer called my salesman at the Naples store, while I have 2 empty holes in my kitchen. Salesman says sorry, we will have to wait for new appliances.The microwave I can handle, but with 3 small kids I expected them to install the dishwasher while waiting for new one, or at least offer one off showroom floor. Manager tells me its my fault, salesman says I gave him wrong measurements, but HA!- manager doesn't know that I have full email chain of all the pictures I sent to salesperson showing a tape measure held up to all appliances so he could clearly see what to order. There is even an email where I ask if the correct dishwasher handle was ordered, and he emails back YES. I tell manager all this, and he does not care - tells me he can't put dishwasher in because he can't sell a used dishwasher. Installers hear whole conversation and can't believe it. Just goes to show that a store can look pretty on the outside, but actually very ugly with appalling salesperson and manager. I told manager this is unacceptable, as well as being blamed for problem that I could prove wasn't the case. I told him just to refund my money, and manager says "ok". The service I got was laughable and am happy to tell others of my experience and spend my money elsewhere! Sad, sad business practice here. read more

i wish they had zero stars for a rating - this place works hard to earn it! first, the owner will respond with some BS response. just ignore it. trust me. spent 50k with this firm when I built my house. all high end appliances. the reviews listed here about service are true - they can't get to you for at least 10 days. this particular review is about a miele dishwasher replacement. bought a miele dishwasher from mullets as part of the 50k package. have had nothing but problems but that is not the fault of this business. their service though is terrible - beyond terrible. after at least 8 to 10 service calls over 7 years we decided to replace the unit with a Bosch - also purchased from Mullets. here is the time line and experience: January 19th - called for service - could not get here until Jan 30th. January 30th - tech says unit needs to go to shop - mullets never calls to schedule. Feb - first week - I call and ask service scheduler if I should just buy a new dishwasher versus a $400 service. she says she will check. never calls back. just radio silence from this place - and I am ready to buy a 2k dishwasher. Feb 8 - I call back - no dishwasher working. work with Rob who actually did a good job. sells me a Bosch which I requested and had researched online. schedules install for Feb 17 - I take off work that day. Feb 16 - get a call in the evening we are first on install - see you in the AM. ready for a new dishwasher after 1 month. Feb 17 - install day. get a call - oops - dishwasher never came in. will take some time to get it. we regret the mistake. SO - one month later they still cannot deliver an appliance I am begging to buy. Bottom line - just go buy somewhere else. Service is abysmal at best. ignore the owners defensive response. this place simply has the worst customer service you will ever experience. if the manufacturers cared they would cancel these guys as dealers. We do not recommend Mullet's. Their installation and customer service are terrible. We could write a book on all of the problems we experienced. The results were tile steps damaged during the refrigerator delivery and flooded kitchen with ruined cabinets, drywall and insulation due the the installers failure to check for leaks after installing the dishwasher. We incurred expenses of over $1,500 due to his mistake and the store manager refused to even pay the $500 we requested. read more
