Our Oreck vacuum started smoking so I relied on Yelp to find help. I called the doctor and brought the patient in for a diagnosis. The staff was socially responsible and observed CDC guidelines and more importantly, gave me their thoughts on how much repairs would be up front. They also offered a overall cleaning but said they would call if the costs exceeded a certain amount. Honest and based on Yelp reviews, Dr. performed his examination and correctly determined that we own a hairy dog(Bernese Mtn dog in fact) and her hair was impeding the roller brush from working and causing the belt to overheat. He suggested we visit his shop and consider a different model that could deal with both the dog, and our condo floors( hardwood,carpet and tile). I appreciate honesty and although it will cost me more in the end, I will get a machine that can handle both. Only open 3 days/week but worth it- they know their stuff. read more

Nothing against the business..i bought a cyclovac at the recommedation of JD and I hate it. Its nothing but cheap plastic that picks up nothing heavier than dust. I let him sway me against getting the Vacuflo and its the biggest $2500 mistake I have ever made. read more

I had purchased a Miele vacuum from Topps in Sarasota. Shortly after I ran into a problem with it due to the salesman not informing me of the proper way to use this sophisticated machine. When I went back they refused to help. Miele directed me to Vacuum Doctor who knew more about how the vacuum worked and all I needed to do was flip a switch 2 notches higher.
