My order total was roughly $20 after taxes, tip, and a random $1 online ordering fee. Since I added so many sides, I decided to check on my order when I picked it up. The sides were correct, except I erroneously ordered queso fresco instead of queso blanco (womp), but the tacos were covered in tomatoes. They corrected it and made me fresh tacos in just a few minutes, which I appreciated. My first bite into the tacos tasted like pure salt. Unfortunately, they didn't get any better. They were also pretty greasy, and my stomach wasn't a huge fan by any means. I ordered them with hard shell tacos, which was an upcharge, and they tasted way overcooked. All told, I just didn't enjoy the dish. The chips were extra salty too. I heard the rice was good though. I'm probably being generous with a 3-star rating, but I'm hoping it was just a bad night for them. It does seem like this spot is hit or miss based on other reviews here. I wouldn't be opposed to trying them once more on a future trip to Jersey, maybe next time I'll do a sit-down dinner, as their dining space looked quite nice and they even had outdoor seating too.

The person in my party that received the food looked at it, look up at me and said "really". Another person said "isn't that more than $20?". The person that ordered it cringed and apologized for ordering since we were paying. Another person ordered a burrito and it came all by itself on a plate. The put nothing to even make it look good. Another order was tacos and the meat was not even hot. Soft drinks came to $8 for the large and $6 for the small. Place hadn't been bad before reason why we decided to go this time, but I felt like I got robbed. Tab came to $100, when in other places that serve high quality food would charge $80 or less for the same things we ordered. The place looks nice though and the service was good. I just think those prices need to be checked or the portions need to be larger. I have been to the Mariachi Loco in Hammonton and with this kind of tab I would have fed an extra person or two.

It took the French dip and roasted veggie grinder 30 mins to come out and the order was wrong - it wasnt a French dip, my sandwich was not toasted, nor did it have the aioli on it either (2nd strike); both went back - server apologized and said remake would come out quickly. I saw her and asked when out food was coming - 1255pm the remake came out. The French dip was supposed to be on a seeded roll which it was not, and my roasted veggie sandwich was a mushy mess of what they called roasted veggies still on a soft ciabatta roll that was not toasted as a grinder should be and the veggies were over salted.
