The pro shop was expanded and has a good selection of hats, balls, shirts etc. and Matt, the GM can order whatever clubs you want. The cafe has also expanded the food and beverage selections with very good quality. Due to the huge influx of people to the area, the demand on golf courses and corresponding price hikes are noticeable to the locals/regulars but not excessive. I'll definitely be playing again on every trip back to Round Rock. Try it, you'll love it!

During this visit, we had a front-row seat at the Bluebonnet Airshow, which was happening next door at the Burnet Municipal Airport. One nit, you will not finish your round in four and a half hours. Great in practice but incredibly frustrating when you pay $18 for the "coaches" to spend the entire evaluation on their phones. You are much more likely to find staff playing or socializing than managing the front desk. I have overheard players bragging about how their buddy at the front desk lets them in for free. Friends of staff are allowed to do their evaluation against higher level groups rather than being thrown in with new members like everyone else. Signing up for an evening slot usually results in there not being enough players for games, with everyone clearing out before the first hour is done. You end up spending $18 for two hours of pickleball only to have to wrap up after an hour.
