By far, the absolute best cheese shop in the entire Midwest. Nobody else can come close to the…read morequality and price point that they provide. We have driven from as far away as the upper peninsula of Michigan and Minneapolis, Minnesota to get their cheese. We load up every time we get anywhere near there. We currently live in Arizona and we have ordered cheese to be delivered to us whenever we run out. My wife is addicted to their Baby Colby and I buy everything else in the store from Munster, Provolone and of course tons of Cheese Curds. All you have to do is stop here one time and you're going to be addicted like we are. The cheese is awesome and so is everyone who works there, they are truly awesome people that provide an outstanding product at an unbelievably low price what else can you ask for?

We tried several of the havarties which included caraway, olive and dill along with some longhorn and aged Swiss and cheese curds. We also bought a sausage to try out. Their cheeses are fresh and low priced. The atmosphere was a little quiet. Everyone was busy doing their job so nobody bothered to greet you on entering the store, or asked if we needed help. One did answer a few questions when asked but other than that it was not very friendly. We use to go to a farm cheese house in southern WI where you could pick out your cheese, they slice it and wrap it to order. This place just has cheese chunks already wrapped in a case. I prefer the order and wrap style. Makes it a more into experience to interact with staff. But I would go back here if in the area.

The cheese selections are incredible, and they always have a bunch of samples out so you can taste before you commit. The Truffle Gouda is my all-time favorite, with the reserve coming in at a close second place! Everywhere you look, there's food! The employees are friendly, and the service is quick. My kids always get ice cream when we are here, and they have to go visit the cows. There's a playground, a giant jumping pillow, and a track for tricycles. We've never eaten here, but we've taken meals to go plenty of times. We are never disappointed. The restaurant is always busy, and the atmosphere is always full of energy.

The waitress wasn't overly friendly, but whatever; the worst part was not being given straws for huge glasses of soda, or utensils. The best part was the appetizer of deep fried mushrooms. The avocado chicken caesar salad was so-so, it was just that the chicken, cucumbers, croutons, etc., were bland and the caesar dressing was like pale ranch dressing (which was just super odd). The classic burger had a thin, dried out patty. We would not bother to stop again.

But before the cheese curd endeavor, I had ordered a scoop of ice cream which was darn near the best I've had in a very long time - so good it rivals my ultimate favorite frozen custard. I forgot the exact flavor name of ice cream, but it was a peanut butter chunk chocolate.... Also, this "scoop" of ice cream I requested was not merely a scoop, it was more like a bowl! Also picked up a variety of meat, summer sausage and meat sticks. Never can go wrong here. Highly recommended if you're within an hours drive! Funny thing to add is my work colleague was with me - he did not grow up in Wisconsin and never had fresh cheese curds. I had been talking about squeaky cheese curds before we had been here and he gave me the crazy WTF look when I was trying to describe them. Well, he popped a few into his flapper, and he started to tell me "hey, these squeak when I chew them!". He's then telling me, hey.. squeaky cheese curds... they actually squeak! Laughing his ass off at the same time ..... and amazingly, that bag disappeared very quickly
