Way too many days went by of no communication as to when coming back. Two times reached out to correct invoice & show paid in full. Both times, she'll get on that right away. Never did. He said she said a message was left. No voicemail from him. They offered to return. I said thanks but no thanks. He was hard at working. Fast & ready to leave with the cash. Wasn't a full days work.

PLEASE READ BEFORE HIRING: A few months ago we contracted Dwain and his company to take on a very…read more"easy" bathroom (his words, not mine) renovation that according to him would only take 3-4 days. Almost 3 weeks later and after never arriving on time ONCE to start at the time they mentioned, they finally "finish" one of the laziest jobs I ever seen a contractor do. During the time, we were instructed that the showers were good to be used but instead that caused house leaks that caused my 1 year old rooms to be flooded while she slept at 2am... multiple times. They came out to fix the issue, but again... used the wrong adhesives to connect the PVC and a few weeks later, we had another flood in the house. They never closed the holes done in the wall, they subcontracted some random dudes, and NOT ONCE showed on time. They deflect fault by hiring others, and when they realize the job is bad, they bad mouth contractors. BE CAREFUL WITH HIS CHEAP QUOTES: After the job was completed we've had to pay thousands of dollars to replace/redo the cheap work completed by Carbon Acquisition Group, Dwain and his SUBCONTRACTED WORKERS. These are not his employees he uses, he hired cheap labor and when things go belly up, he blames on bad contractors HE HIRED. The contractors reached out to me to complain he underpays them, or doesn't pay them at all. After having other professionals at home within their area of expertise (ex. plumbers), they've had nothing but scary things to say about the job completed by CAG. When they did our showers, multiple professionals AND friends have all communicated how many important components were missing from the shower. He even complained about the tiles that we bought were too small (they were normal bathroom tile).... this is when I should've picked up on his lazy/cheap tendencies and backed out. So far we've had over 3 leaks (2 shower, 1 toilet) and 6 contractors who specialize in their area to fix this lazy company's errors. If I could back and hire someone twice as expensive to receive a better quality job finish, I would do it in a heartbeat. Do not hire this company unless it's basic handyman work, and even then I would beware. If I could give a negative score, I would.

I asked him if he had a business card as I was from New Jersey and had just bought a house in Clermont Florida and may need some work done. The gentleman turned out to be Juan Velez. I needed blinds installed (13) and I had just set up a date with Lowe's to have someone come and measure for installation. Unfortunately the contractor from Lowe's soonest appointment was in a week and a half they would measure and then set up a date later for the installation. I was pressed for time and needed to return to New Jersey in a few days. When I found out the Lowe's contractor could not come earlier I contacted Juan the day after I met him. I told Juan what I needed and he set up an appointment to come measure the windows the next day as he was working in the area. Long story short, Handyman complete services measured and installed all the blinds a couple of days before the other contractor could come out to just measure the windows. Handyman needed some other materials and charged them to their account and provided me with a receipt. I was blown away by the professionalism and quality of work done in a very short period of time and would not hesitate to recommend them. However when he came he was professional, worked fast, easy to communicate with, and mostly I trusted him since he delivered good work so I gave him the remodel job instead. The photos show it but exceptionally pleased with how it turned out.
