The first is the chicken sandwiches were both inedible because the chicken breast pieces were hard and undercooked. We ended up replacing the the tenders in the sandwiches and throwing out the chicken. Second the Mac and cheese tasted great a few weeks ago but today the sauce / flavor to macaroni ratio was way too high making the Mac and cheese also inedible. They really need quality control to prevent jn the future. I would have rated 1 star but I know they can do better so hoping they use this review to improve their chicken sandwiches and Mac and cheese. Will be getting only the tenders in the future.

Probably medium. They also gave us the 24k sauce so we had to exchange it for the buffalo sauce. Everything was great but the app automatically adds a tip... I only caught it because the total went from $14.99 to $19.99 and when I checked there was a $2 tip. So I removed it. They don't even bring your food to the table. So be aware if you're ordering on the app.

They had television sets on the dining room but none of them were on. They have Pepsi products that you fill yourself. They have a little dessert display which I took a picture of that as well. If I wasn't so hungry, I would've eaten half and saved the rest for later!! The fries were a bit overdone for my liking, but they were freshly fried and made-to-order which I appreciated. The beef roll was fantastic. The ratio of meat to accoutrements was perfect and I loved the medley of sauces. I will DEFINITELY be ordering this meal again the next time I visit.

I cannot even tell you how good and different this is. The garlic sauce is FREAKING amazing. We brought a hot dog home for our son who didn't eat it, the next morning my husband and I ate it cold, right out of the fridge. It was so good. Service is great. The first time we went we had no idea what we were doing. They walked us through it and gave us great advice. Cute and clean.

I like Mumbai cafe. Good Masala omelette and $3 chai (NO refills). The Mixed Grill we had, ALL chicken? It was good but pricey at $19, maybe the Mix was the two different treatments, tika masala & tandoori chicken. Good news is we had huge good rice leftovers for a week. Haven't had the paans yet. All the small plate deserts seem expensive. Lots of seating in two well lit adjoining rooms, the cafe side & the Omelette side where food comes out. It looks like the hours between the two are the same but I have been told to come back after 5 to the Omelette side by the cafe. Young kitchen worker on the Omelette side works his butt off. Really nice view of the Golf Road White castle from the Omelette side. Mens looked like an almost cleaned up crime scene, good enuf. Off Golf road cut up parking shared by many different intg shops. Wow!!! They specialize in all kinds of Desi drinks and snacks. Particularly the traditional Indian-Pakistani drinks. Only place to go and get Faluda, Ganda Gola, Pan and Kulfi. Me and my friend came to this place from all the way from Gurnee to try their Best Ganda Gola (shaved ice). It is pretty to look at too! My friend I had the Sahi Ganda Gola, Mumbai Special kulfi and fresh sugar cane Juice with a lemon and ginger. The service was very good. I will defiantly come back for their chats food and pan. We drove all the way from Wisconsin with our extended family and kids to dine at Mumbai Cafe and our experience was awesome and pleasant. The staff was very welcoming and accomodating, given our noisy kids and room full of adults trying to hang out there. The food was delicious, met our expectations and was served in no time. The Shahi falooda and Bombay Falooda brought back memories from India. My husband, brother and cousins also tried out the Bhai Bhai menu and it was beyond words, completely appetizing and mouth watering. Great Indian snaky kind of place, Good ambience. Great service. The customer service is great. We go there with our entire family again and again and we always get great customer service. The ladies at the front are always helpful. Don't know what the complaints are all about for the customer service. Our recent visit was last week and here is what we thought. For the food we highly recommend their vada pav. The next one is their bombay sandwich then their Mumbai bhadang which is basically Bhel. But great taste. We went there two days ago. Made a quick stop before driving back to MN to check out the place recommended by our friends in Chicago. Very nice place.decor is nice. Comfortable to sit and relax. We ordered kids sandwich masala puri chat and chai. It was yummy. The lady at the register is very friendly. Great with kids. Very friendly staff in kitchen. The food was delicious. I used to enjoy coming to this restaurant for snacks and raved about it but after today's experience I will only come to get paan. The food was all microwaved and not fresh. The samosas were soggy and the rice hard. Many of the posted menu items were not available. When we complained about the samosas new ones were fried in oil were given to us and they were burnt. When we asked about the rice he said they wre made in the morning. The quality has definitely gone down and I will no longer be recommending this place to my friends. read more

This is my third visit to the place. Seems like they added more to their menu. Decided to give their info Chinese a try. We were impressed. Hope they keep up with their quality. Went there for the first time on Friday evening. Had most of their paans and my favorite so far is the Badakti Jawani. They're kind and pretty awesome people. It's like they're already your family or even friends. I will definitely go back whenever I go back to Schaumburg. Their Kulfi is pretty good as well. Along with the other flavors. We started with the hot garlic momos, which were perfectly saucy, spicy, and difficult to stop eating. The samosa croissant sandwich sounded unusual, but the buttery, flaky croissant worked incredibly well with the savory samosa filling. The dahi chana bomb was one of the most memorable bites of the meal. It was crispy, creamy, sweet, tangy, and spicy all at once--truly a burst of flavor. We also loved the paneer wrap, which came loaded with smoky tandoori paneer, fresh vegetables, and crispy fries. The paneer lababdar with garlic naan was rich and comforting and balanced out the more playful dishes nicely. For drinks, the dark-chocolate cold cocoa was excellent--rich without being excessively sweet--and the masala chai was satisfying as well. The menu is also quite flexible, with several dishes that can be prepared without onion and garlic when requested. Service was warm and welcoming throughout, and the entire experience felt thoughtfully put together. Hocco is a new addition to Chicagoland, backed by an Indian food legacy of more than 80 years. We had a wonderful meal and can't wait to return for the chana puri.

Finally she came, took our oder - She served 2 samosas first, but no utensils so we asked, took another 5 mins. She was busy to taking to other customer: how happy she is because he came back to try her restaurants and etc. I understand communicate with customer is very important specially for the new restaurant. But she could gave us the utensils first and chat with the other customer would be better. Because whole time while she was chatting him, she was holding our utensils. 3. Waters. - When she took our order, we asked for the water. She forgot. After the food served, I went to counter and asked her the water! She totally forgot again. We showed up a little early, which made getting seated quick and easy. The space is roomy and welcoming, and the staff was very helpful throughout.
