Misleading advertising. Their website states they service the appliances you buy from them- untrue. I was directed to use a company called mobile appliance service. Horrible experience. They do not use genuine ge parts, charged me 4x the price for a non ge part, $125 vs $36 on the ge website, did not install the part properly, had to send someone out again and broke a part that wasn't broken and now have more plastic parts falling into the tub of my washing machine, not to mention scratches on the washer from his tool belt. I had an hour and a half to shop for 3 appliances. I didn't know exactly what I wanted, but I had measurements and knew what I didn't want. Grace was succinct and efficient in helping me. She was patient with my questions and in dealing with a delivery/installation date. In less than an hour I was happily out the door. I stopped in at a later date and, again, Grace was patient and extremely helpful in addressing my questions. I've dealt with a variety of small businesses, as well as "big box stores" over the years. within the past year we purchased a new Maytag electric range and a gas range. Mumma's prepared the das stove for propane hook up. Both ranges have met our expectations. Due to our satisfaction with Mumma's we recently purchased a clothes dryer. The dryer is exactly what I wanted. the young man who delivered the dryer was very astute by noticing how the door would open. He changed the door without me having to ask, to open opposite from the adjacent washer so I could easily place the clothes from the washer to the dryer. the product quality is very good along with the excellent service. We were faced with an emergency this morning! Our 7 y/o Samsung fridge was at 54 degrees, and we have a flight to Denver tomorrow morning! I went to Mumma's website, got their tel # and called. They said no problem and come in. Went there at 9 am, picked out a new GE, and they arranged for SAME DAY INSTALLATION and removal of old fridge at no cost!! They just finished Installing 10 minutes ago. Needless to say, we will look to then FIRST for any new purchase in the future! Total tome from purchase to installation was 3 HOURS!!! read more

Mumma's did a great job and left our newly refinished floors in perfect shape. A few months post installation we needed a minor dishwasher adjustment which they came out promptly to fix. After having bought from the big box stores previously I can say Mumma's is hands down top notch! read more

A family owned, small store but still has a good selection of brands and models. We had purchased all our appliances from them when our house was built 15 years back. Have called them couple of times for repairs or fixes and found them to be extremely helpful and prompt. Recently our dishwasher broke down and we went to look at the different brands available. Always found the owner, John, to give his honest opinion which sometimes one doesn't get while researching online. He explained the features available and pointed out the useful ones compared to the ones which are not commonly used. Installation by Danielle was done efficiently, came at the specified time and was quick. The whole experience from start to finish was handled very smoothly. Prices are fair and they will offer good deals on floor models and in stock items. Highly recommended. read more

Terrible customer service! We purchased a new GE washer and dryer from Mumma's. 6 weeks in, the dryer started to sound very loud so we called to have someone look at it. Tech said it needed a new belt so they called GE to come out. GE repairman said it needed a new motor. I called Mumma's and asked for a replacement dryer rather than having a brand new dryer repaired, which they said they would do. They delivered the new dryer today. Delivery guys didn't check it before they left and when we turned it on, it sounded like ball bearings were loose in the dryer and was twice as loud as the first one. So I called and explained the problem and they said they would see what they could do. Called me back and said they would be out with another dryer. 5 minutes later, the owner, Mr. Mumma, called and said they were coming to get both the washer and dryer and were refunding us our money. He said since they can't satisfy us and there was nothing wrong with either dryer, that's what he decided to do. He said his installers do this all day and dryers make noise and there was nothing wrong with the dryers (even though GE man said 1st one needed a new motor) and dryers make noise. We even ran the dryer while he was on the phone and asked him to come out and listen to it. He refused to do so and said they would be back to get the items. When the men came to pick them up, we turned the dryer on to let them hear it and they agreed it was not right. We now have no washer or dryer and need to try to find replacements. Earliest delivery is next week! I will never do business with Mumma's again and will make sure everyone knows they have terrible customer service! read more

They talk a good talk about family owned business and great service. We bought appliances back in 2021 from them thinking that was the case. Our experience is not that as my wife visited them early last year about our washer shaking and vibrating dancing on the floor when it extracts especially towels and was told Noah would give us a call when in the area and take a look but he never called or showed up to address the problem. Now today I called for service because our program cycle is stuck on lock and nothing will work. When called I felt I was just a brother to them. I did listen and followed her instructions and still not working so I called back and was told I needed to call ge because I have a extended warranty that I thought was with them but no they can't fix it. So much for great customer service and support just gave me a number to call and schedule service which was also a nightmare. We should have fit these appliances from Best Buy as in the past because they really took care of us better then Mumma's read more

I have been a customer for over 50 years. I have bought several refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, microwaves and even TV way back when. Anytime I have a problem with a appliance they come out and look at it. Somethings it can be repaired and they repair it. If it is not worth the coast of repairing they tell you. The team works very hard to get you what you need, when you need it. I recently needed to service my dryer. A horrible experience! Today,we went looking for a refrigerator at Mumma's (our first visit there). We thought purchasing from a small business rather than a big-box retailer would yield compassion during this COVID crisis. So, we were surprised and very turned off by the rude customer experience we had with a salesperson (a blond wearing glasses). You would have thought with her stank attitude they did not need our business. So, we left and brought a new fridge somewhere else. Upon arrival, we were the only customers in the store and we were barely greeted. During the selection process, we were provided with very little assistance to help determine which range model would be a good fit for our kitchen remodel and cooking needs. We were not made aware of the Viking "buy one get one free" limited time promotion, which would have been a significant savings for us, until I asked about the promotion to the sales person. The salesperson took his time to look up the promotion information, during which time he took a phone call from another customer that took at least 10 minutes. At no time did he apologize to us for the delay or ask if he could call the person back. It wasn't until another salesperson arrived, when the person "helping" us began to acknowledge our questions about the different Viking products and which ones were included in the promotion. Ultimately, he didn't have any pricing information and said his daughter (?) would email my husband. We never received an email and the promotion has most likely ended. We never contacted/followed-up with the store because it felt like the person "helping" us didn't want our business as an African-American couple. We budgeted to spend between 3,500-5,000 on the range and we will gladly spend it at another Viking retailer who wants our business. read more

These people are professionals. I have gotten a dishwasher, microwave, and freezer delivered and installed. Every time the price has been great, the delivery on time and hassle free, and the people have been incredibly nice and thorough. You won't find a better appliance store. Avoid the chain stores. I don't know why but I bought appliances here about three years ago, I guess not because the prices were that great but more 'cause I wanted to help an independent dealer and give them my business. For the most part, the purchase was okay but we had issues with the delivery being rescheduled 2x and the install guys were just plain rude. Also,our one appliance has had issues and has gone on the blink a few times and I think it relates to being mishandled during delivery. Mumma's blamed it on the manufacturer and I was told to follow-up with them after the second service call. They washed their hands of it. Thanks for the great "service". I'm remodeling my kitchen and shopping for all new appliances. I stopped in here on a Saturday and there was only 1 person working, the owner I believe. He did not seem to know the products very well, and gave me the minimum information I asked for. No features/benefits. No suggestions. All the while, he kept looking past me like I was keeping him from other customers. I finally gave him my contact info and asked him to email me a quote for the products. It's now a week later and I never received an email. The office was decorated with safari pictures and it's clear that's where he'd rather be. Make sure you look else where before shopping here. They have some nice appliances but their prices are very high. For such a high price you would think you would get good customer service. I called Mumma's about an electric range I wanted to purchase. I was hoping to purchase local rather than Home Depot, Best Buy, etc. Their price was $300 more than the previous two stores and I asked if Mumma's would match the price as I was told several months ago when I needed to purchase a washing machine, that they would price match. Unfortunately, they could not get the washer to me for several weeks and I needed this appliance immediately. That gentleman was very nice. Today, this sales lady about the range became very nasty and disrespectful and said that they were the only store that had the item and NO, there would be no price match. Granted, the two previous stores had the item back ordered for a small amount of time but I told her that I was in no hurry for it. Again, she became very nasty and said this is our price ($1200) and there will be no changes. Both Home Depot and Best Buy have that item for $900 and I will wait the two weeks or so to save the $300. We are encouraged to buy from local businesses and I totally support that and I tried - I will not pay more nor will I put up with that kind of nasty, disrespectful attitude from a salesperson. Never take the time to do this ...Ordered a washer boot for my maytag front loader washer, paid for in full per clerk/owner took 2 weeks to come in no follow up call as to where it was. Never asked if it was stacked which it was tech finally came after several calls.... Oh I can't do that we need 2 people OK called in to schedule still no call back .. Called Brubakers appliances set up appointment and was done within 3 days with one man.... Then took the time to call them spoke to the women owner to let her know to take me off the list for a service call ...RUDE RUDE ...she was like whatever So glad when we were building our home we didn't buy there we stopped in and another owner couldn't be bothered.
