Prior to pick up, it would of been helpful if the lady would of gave me a heads up on the parking situation. The store is on busy Ventura Blvd, which is all metered parking - good luck basically if you come here on a weekend, which I did. The day I show up there's no spots near & I ended up parking in loading which made me so paranoid of getting a ticket. I ended up asking the employee if I can park in the back & she said I could go around. Good thing I did because this car seat was HEAVY & BARELY fit in the car. I also did look around the store to see what else they have for sale. This truly is an infant store. You won't find toddler clothing or toys. All the merchandise is specifically geared towards infancy, which is nice, especially for first time parents who need all the things. She first taught us about the Uppababy car seat and showed us how to put the baby inside of it and gave both me and my wife the opportunity to try it. Then we went to the cars and she taught us how to install it using the latches and the seatbelt. Both my wife and I got a chance to do it on our own with her watching on our own vehicles. I definitely could have read the manual or gone on youtube but Karen was very knowledgeable about a ton of baby products and answered our questions and put both of us as ease over the installation and how to use the car seats in our cars. All I needed was some kindness. To the owners of the Pump Station- the people using your website are most likely VERY tired moms. I personally am getting 3-4 hours of sleep a day. Instead, the day before delivery, we were notified of a fixed three-hour delivery window and told we would be charged a fee if we chose to reschedule. When I requested to cancel the order because the delivery arrangements differed from what we had been told at the time of purchase, I was informed that a cancellation fee would also apply. Ultimately, we changed our plans and accepted the delivery. However, this experience left us extremely disappointed. We feel that the information provided during the sales process was misleading, and the fees associated with rescheduling or canceling left us with little flexibility. Based on this experience, we do not anticipate making future furniture purchases from Living Spaces. This type of sales practice is unacceptable and does not reflect the level of customer service we expected.

We communicated via phone and email on several occasions- up until the day before pick up (scheduled for the morning I was traveling to the shower). All was perfect up to that point. However, on the date and time scheduled to pick up the cake, she was not there. I called, texted, and emailed multiple times. I was at her apartment for over 30 minutes, concerned, confused and then angry. I was left cake-less. My only explanation for her horrible behavior would be some sort of illness. Still, it's been over a week and still no word from her. To me, that is just unexceptable. I just hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. I was up till 2:00 am making my own diaper cake.
