The 3-person Tylo sauna was pricey, $12k. Paid an additional $750 for delivery & assembly as well as $500 for freight...so about 10% extra surcharge. For $1250 extra in addition to the cost of my sauna, I expected a better experience. When the unit was delivered, my neighbor who is a general contractor was in the garage with the delivery team, watching their assembly while I was busy inside the house. When the team told me the assembly was finished, my neighbor pointed out to them that the entire unit is visibly dusty / dirty as well as the glass door seal being (1) too short on one side and (2) messed up on the other side...plus a blemish on the black wood board. I overheard one of the team members mumbling about my neighbor to the other member while getting these issues resolved, which I thought was a bit unprofessional. All my neighbor asked was for an expensive ticket item to be properly delivered, assembled and presented...very sad that the delivery team seems to think this is a big ask for a pricey sauna. I called Coastal about the door seal being short and spoke to Susan. She said she will talk to the manufacturer and get back to me... she never did. Quite a disappointing experience with Coastal. Update: Oh, just noticed that the delivery team didn't even screw the heater into the sauna wall properly. Two of the four support screws were half exposed...they are specialty screws so I don't have the tools to screw them into the wall fully so have to probably hire someone to do it or buy the right tools. What a joke...paid $1250 extra for this type of service.

Obviously the response was a bot. Again do not buy mechanical parts from them since they are only covered for 30 days. I was able to find the same parts on amazon for 20 bucks each instead of leslie charging me another 55 bucks each for something thats not going to last! This is based on the repair parts they choose. 2 months ago i had leslie repair my pool vacuum which is the mx80. They told me both my motors where bad and needed to he replaced. So even though they offer free repair, you have to buy there parts. Again seems like a fair trade. Here is the draw back, there parts are only covered for 30 days. When i had the repair done none of that was mentioned, plus i dont get to choose which parts for the repair. 2 months from when i had them just repaired, i bring it back and sure enough same motors are bad. I go ok shouldn't the parts be covered for more than 30 days the answer is no. I read the reciept and yup thats there policy. So going forward ill take my repairs somewhere else with a better warranty. Probably going to shop somewhere as well, what good is offering free repair, if the company doesnt stand behind the parts they choose for me. The staff was very polite and professional. This review is on the leslie brand and parts.

The individual who drained the…read morepool let the water hose run out along the backside of our hill, and if I had not caught it, would have caused a full landslide and potentially ruined our entire home and pool. One of their employees came out a day late (not uncommon) and was obviously under the influence of marijuana, which we reported to the owner. Kyle did state he would address that employee. It was just very frustrating. The few times they came out to clean the pool, they did not actually clean the pool. Additionally, they said they would be out on a specific day each week (so we had to make sure the pool safety net was removed the evening prior) they were always either a no-show or a day late. We kept having to remove and place the safety net back on the pool daily, even when we weren't using the pool! We are definitely leaving this service after trying to stay with them and work out all the issues over 4-5 months. Never again.

Stay away and find another provider. I hired Noble's after doing a backyard remodel and seeing…read moretheir name on a list of Jandy approved vendors. I had them for 10-months and they started well and then the quality of service deteriorated greatly. After three months, I got a bad case of Algae which was caused by the Tech not putting the Chlorine tabs in the cartridge. Then service got worse. For a 17,000 gallon pool and attached spa, the Tech was spending 8-minutes on-site, which was validated by security cameras. For April 2018, the Tech that was servicing the pool only did so on one occasion and either didn't show or put a note in the mailbox for a random reason why he couldn't do it that day. After the third time, I called and ended the agreement. This was again validated with the security cameras and the condition of the pool skimmer basket (see attached picture) Now, Noble is trying to charge me for a full month of service. Trying to do the right thing, I contacted their office, explained the situation and then paid a pro-rated amount equal to the service performed (25%). Today, I received a bill for the balance of the work not performed. // Update // Thank you Kyle for acknowledging the pro-rated payment and glad to know it was a system issue and not ignoring it which I had believed since no one contacted me or returned the message I had left. In terms of the algae bloom, it happened in June 2017. The pool was finished in May 2017 and not servicing the pool with the proper chlorine was the contributing factor. In terms of the dog bite, I find that rather interesting. My two dogs are small, less than 14 pounds, and can't put a tennis ball in their mouth. The person servicing the pool made this claim and told me that one of our dogs bit his calf only after two weeks addressing showing up for a couple of minutes each time and one call to your office. Also, my wife works from home, so if they were out and he was concerned, rather than not doing his job, it would have been nice if he knocked on the door and told her that he was here to clean the pool. I think that my response(s) have been rather detailed; however, please call me if you'd like to discuss. I don't want this review to be considered as a disgruntled customer, I'm not, it's truthful and without emotion. I've found a company that I'm pleased with and is providing the service that I had hope for. I hope that you can learn from this and improve your business.

Although I was about to purchase a hot tub from a large, well known dealer in Corona, I decided to look at Custom Spas Direct, which has good online reviews and happens to be very close to our house. I'm glad I did. I was not familiar with the Vita spa brand that Custom Spas Direct sells. There's very little information available online. After doing some digging, I determined that Vita is a decent, mid-range spa with competitive pricing. Nothing fancy, but it's built with good components from companies like Balboa Water Group. Dealing with Custom Spas Direct has been fantastic. It's a small company and we interacted directly with Jim Galpin, the owner. Jim is a straightforward guy and he was very helpful in choosing a spa. Since I was unfamiliar with Vita, I had a lot of questions and he patiently answered all of them. He quickly responded whenever I sent him a text with a question or request. After the purchase, he was super flexible with regard to delivery, setup timing, coordinating with the electrician's schedule, etc. The delivery and setup was quick and well done. The installer did a good job answering all of my questions. We've had the spa six months and have had a couple of minor issues. One was probably due to user error on my part and the other was not. In both cases, Jim responded to my texts immediately and quickly resolved my issue, even during a holiday week. I'm so glad I purchased from a local dealer that provides such fantastic service after the sale. I'm sure a larger dealer would not have given us the same treatment. Thanks Jim! Five stars!
