They determined we needed to have the pool fully drained. So we did. The individual who drained the pool let the water hose run out along the backside of our hill, and if I had not caught it, would have caused a full landslide and potentially ruined our entire home and pool. One of their employees came out a day late (not uncommon) and was obviously under the influence of marijuana, which we reported to the owner. Kyle did state he would address that employee. It was just very frustrating. The few times they came out to clean the pool, they did not actually clean the pool. Additionally, they said they would be out on a specific day each week (so we had to make sure the pool safety net was removed the evening prior) they were always either a no-show or a day late. We kept having to remove and place the safety net back on the pool daily, even when we weren't using the pool! We are definitely leaving this service after trying to stay with them and work out all the issues over 4-5 months. Never again. read more

Stay away and find another provider. I hired Noble's after doing a backyard remodel and seeing their name on a list of Jandy approved vendors. I had them for 10-months and they started well and then the quality of service deteriorated greatly. After three months, I got a bad case of Algae which was caused by the Tech not putting the Chlorine tabs in the cartridge. Then service got worse. For a 17,000 gallon pool and attached spa, the Tech was spending 8-minutes on-site, which was validated by security cameras. For April 2018, the Tech that was servicing the pool only did so on one occasion and either didn't show or put a note in the mailbox for a random reason why he couldn't do it that day. After the third time, I called and ended the agreement. This was again validated with the security cameras and the condition of the pool skimmer basket (see attached picture) Now, Noble is trying to charge me for a full month of service. Trying to do the right thing, I contacted their office, explained the situation and then paid a pro-rated amount equal to the service performed (25%). Today, I received a bill for the balance of the work not performed. // Update // Thank you Kyle for acknowledging the pro-rated payment and glad to know it was a system issue and not ignoring it which I had believed since no one contacted me or returned the message I had left. In terms of the algae bloom, it happened in June 2017. The pool was finished in May 2017 and not servicing the pool with the proper chlorine was the contributing factor. In terms of the dog bite, I find that rather interesting. My two dogs are small, less than 14 pounds, and can't put a tennis ball in their mouth. The person servicing the pool made this claim and told me that one of our dogs bit his calf only after two weeks addressing showing up for a couple of minutes each time and one call to your office. Also, my wife works from home, so if they were out and he was concerned, rather than not doing his job, it would have been nice if he knocked on the door and told her that he was here to clean the pool. I think that my response(s) have been rather detailed; however, please call me if you'd like to discuss. I don't want this review to be considered as a disgruntled customer, I'm not, it's truthful and without emotion. After the last review they came out and made the pool spotless. And kept it that way for a few weeks. And now the algae is blooming and the pool is full of dirt. One of the pumps has stopped working weeks ago and we haven't been able to even get any kind of response on it. Yet again can't use the pool, cause the water is turning green. If they are able to keep the pool maintained and clean for more than a month, and fix things like a broken pump (at least two weeks no answer) I would be happy to update the review again. The last couple times I had my DE filter cleaned he kept putting me off or didn't respond and I have used someone else. I called Noble's when my pool pump went out. They came out right away without any of the complicated trip fees that the large national company nearby tried to pass off. They were very professional, fast, and while a pool pump is expensive, they were very competitive with their price. Honestly, I am very happy with the service and will be calling again when I need further repair. Also, the cleaned out my pool filter which is a total pain in the butt job. Noble Pool is the real deal ! Was at my wits end, Called Kyle (emergency) and Kyle was out in less then an hour. I maintain my own pool, ran into an Algae issue not only did Kyle diagnosed the issue in minutes, but solved my problem. Was spending $$$$ to try to overcome the problem, where he could have saved $$$$ if I had called him earlier. After dealing with this company for many years I am through with Noble! The owner or manager Bill needs to learn what customer service is and return calls in a timely manner. This all started about a month ago with a simple service call to get our pool pump cleaned and serviced. We asked for an appointment got it scheduled for Friday 5/10/2013 between 7 - 10 am but the tech never showed up called to find out that they were short staffed do to an injury. Okay I understand that called back next week and got told that they can not make it because they are catching back up from the week before. Then I asked the manager Bill when do they think they have time yes the next week we could I told him Thursday 5/23/2013 in the morning would be best! That morning we get a call at 12 noon we can not make it we have another injury with the staff! After this i thought I hope this is not another excuse by them because they are under staffed or they just dropped me! Then I asked when can you do it then? I do not know I'll call you after the holiday! On 5/30/2013 called to get our pool serviced for the 3rd time and left message no call back! Then I went into store physically to ask when I could get service and have yellow algae problem and could they send a tech out to get it taken care of they told me the earliest they could would be 6/11/2013 because they are backed up with calls. I am getting very tired by now with all there excuses but I make the appointment. Wow a tech finally showed up but the tech took a look at me pool and wanted to check the water, he did and came back and told me what needed to happen. I agreed and he said he would be back the next day to drain the pool half way, then we are to fill it and have us treat pool for them to come back on Friday 6/14/2013. What happened couldn't make it that day. after waiting for 2 more days no call. I then went into the store location and found a service person who look like a deer in headlight and asked for a service call and I have been dealing with this for over 4 weeks and need to take care of it because I have done all of the things they wanted us to do but still no tech out and they said there will be at my home 6/20.2013 between 7 - 11 am but after a no show I called Noble and got voice mail asked them to call back but after 1.5 hours I called back and got a hold of BILL and told him I was very upset that the tech didn't come and wanted to know why they couldn't call back to tell me when they would be because they promised in the morning! After I changed companies Noble's (Bill) sent me a statement saying that I owe $46 for service that was never done. Not worth the money. They are definitely overpriced for what they provide. They recommended replacing a single speed pool pump motor with another single speed pool pump motor. The markup on the single speed motor was outrageous. Amazingly, they did not even suggest/recommend a variable speed motor. A variable speed motor is in keeping with California's new variable speed pool pump law. Will not be using them again. My recommendation to anyone looking for any pool/spa-related service is that you find another service other than Nobles. Hi Kyle, Nice to actually get a response from you. But, you have me confused with some other customer (probably hard to keep track of all of your customers who are unhappy with the work that you have done). When I came in to your store to pick up the motor, I did not even see you. In fact, I have never seen you. The truth is that one of your employees got the motor from the back and gave it to me. Your employee was very pleasant, by the way. There was no scene. I don't know which of your customers you think made a scene and told you that you did not do anything and that your service is a rip off (nice way to talk about one of your customers by the way). It was not me, since I did not even see you. You might want to get your story straight. It turns out that the pump housing was bad. But, your guy did not even spend the time looking at the pump housing to make that determination. You are wrong about variable speed motors. Part of providing a service to someone is that you give them alternatives. You did not do that. With regard to the $85.00. If I had seen you at the store, I would have told you that the work (i.e., pulling the motor) that was performed was not worth that amount. If you were there at the store when I came in, I am not sure why you did not come out to talk to me. I have paid the amount just to get rid of the nuisance. I have found another service that I am much more happy with. I guess that is for the best. read more

Well ever since the owner passed away, I was buying my clorhine from there because it was much stronger and they even posted a sign about there strength in the product. This week I put 2 gallons of clorhine in my pool and algae is growing at a fast rate. I tested the water and it shows no clorhine. Really!!!! My pump was tripping my breaker. After having scheduling issues with the big Corporate company up the road from my house, I called up Noble's. Kyle answered and said he could be at my house in 30 minutes to take a look at it. I was really surprised. Leslie's needed a couple 3 days to get on their schedule, and they actually cancelled on me the day of! Kyle was very responsive and helpful in diagnosing my pump. I needed a new pump anyway, and he had it installed 2 days later. They replaced a couple valves, and installed the new pump in a day's work. And then programmed it. Price was fair for the work. He also took care of my warranty registration and rebate. I am very happy with the level of responsiveness and customer service. First experience with Noble's: I received Noble's coupon book in the mail. I needed a few small parts for pool (skimmer basket, brush, etc.) and two of them were discounted using coupons in the coupon book. The store is near my home so I drive down. I am welcomed by a couple of gentlemen who immediately strike me as two guys who are tired of stupid uninformed customers walking into their shop wasting their time. After asking a couple of questions I realize I am better off just finding the parts myself rather than have two guys give me attitude because I don't know the difference between skimmer parts. I find the few discounted items and go to the checkout counter. I have the coupon book on the counter and I say to the clerk, "I believe these two items are discounted, correct?" He assures me that they are and rings me up. Assuming that these gentlemen want my return business, I leave the store without checking the receipt. Upon returning home I realize neither of the two items were discounted. I call the store and they instruct me to return to the store (another 20 minutes wasted) to have the items discounted. I return to the store and the (manager/owner?) assists his clerk but neither is able to figure out the register. The manager/owner finally gets tired of trying and gives me the discount as a cash return. He apologizes. I say, "No problem". As I walk away he greets the next customer in line and makes a comment about what a crappy day it has just become. I will never be spending another dime at Noble's and I will be sure to recommend that all of my friends and neighbors avoid Noble's Pool & Spa. If this were my business I would have made sure that everything was kosher with my obviously new customer so that I would gain his return business. I would have given the refund for the discount and offered him a BIG discount on his next purchase or I would have simply given him a small item for FREE in hopes of rectifying the situation and gaining his return business. I am always amazed at how some businesses like Noble's Pool & Spa have kept their doors open when they have such horrible attitudes and terrible customer relations. After waiting 3 weeks for another pool store by my house, to fix my pool sweep, I decided to take it to nobles only to be asked if they Even opened it to see what's wrong??? I said they had to because they told me it was the "power module " it would cost 179.00. So I went to Kyle Noble and he ordered me one for $172.00. To make a long story short, The pool sweep had never even been opened to see what the problem was! Kyle got me the part in 2 working days, opened up my pool sweep and discovered all it was was loose bearings, he tightened them and my pool sweep was fine. NO CHARGE!! Saved me $172.00. We haven't used our spa in years and decided if we were going to keep it, we might as well use it. I called Noble's to have them clean it up, test the equipment and get it running again so we could enjoy it again. Kyle came out the next morning and met with me and explained he couldn't test the heater until it was full and running but the motor came on so we could atleast get it cleaned and filtering. A couple days later he had one of his technicians Frank out to Acid wash the surface, get it filled, rebalance the water and clean the filter. I had my fingers crossed the heater still worked and sure enough, the heater still worked! We were able to enjoy the spa we haven't used in over 5 years last weekend!
