I love Dr. Munson! He's an excellent dentist. He's very honest and conservative with dental treatment. I still have 18 year old fillings in my molars from my teen years when Dr. Munson filled them. This is a great dentist with many years of experience that will give you his honest diagnosis. We've been going to Dr. Munson for over 10 years. This is a great office & not a factory where they pretend to clean your teeth with a quick polish but charge your insurance for a deep cleaning. Both my husband & I have a HMO so its not covered but we pay out of pocket knowing their dental hygienists know what they are doing. Sometimes we slack on going every six months but if you want a competent DDS & excellent dental hygienists you will be in good hands. read more

I stopped going to Dr. Munson after being a patient for nearly 10 years. I have no issue with his hygienists, all are lovely and welcoming. The man himself is not the friendliest, which wouldn't be an issue if he wasn't so ROUGH. I know a dentist visit isn't supposed to be pleasant in the slightest, but his silent, ominous presence once he enters the room and his inability to be gentle definitely don't help. He's a great dentist, but a poor host. The REAL reason I'm shorting this office 1 star is because whoever works at the front desk is RELENTLESS about calling to schedule appointments. If you don't schedule on time, beware: she will call you twice a day every other week until you answer. (It's been two years since I've been there, and I got two calls today and a text). Occasionally she'll leave a voicemail reminding you in her most annoyed voice possible that it's time to schedule. It's ridiculous. I know I haven't been to the dentist in over a year, and I'll call when I'm ready. Except, to spite you, I will continue ignoring your calls and not let you know I've switched over to a dentist whose receptionist sends one simple text and then WAITS TO HEAR BACK FROM ME. What a concept!!!!! Anyway, I just needed to vent about Munson's receptionist on some platform where someone important might potentially see it and advise her to pump her brakes on the patient pestering. Decent, honest, and professional dentist who doesn't push for any other services unnecessary. I would have given five stars if he treats gum diseases. He has to refer me to other nearby periodontist for periodontics exam that he doesn't do. Overall, strongly recommend. read more

Nice man, seems to do good quality work. The staff do not use computers to book appointments. So many times we get repeated calls to schedule an appointment even though one is on their books. We get called at our offices multiple times in a day asking if we'd like to come in TODAY even though we're already on their calendar next month. I keep explaining we're extremely busy at work and pleading that they communicate with each other. The hygienists each use variable techniques and seem to have very different opinions on the best techniques. Office staff are friendly. Waiting room has 5-year old magazines and is sometimes uncomfortably warm. read more

Dr. Munson was referred to me by his dental hygienist, Carrie. We were looking for a new dentist and she told me about him and his character. Well she was spot on! He is a very honest, kind, gentle and skilled dentist. Most people, even some dentists say if you have the silver fillings it might be best not to disturb them. My brother did and had many problems afterwards. Dr. Munson never pushed or even asked me to replace mine. But I asked him about it and trusted him and had him replace all of mine! I did not have Any problems with mine! He was gentle and thorough. They look great and as apprehensive as I was to replace them, I couldn't be happier. I would recommend him to everyone and anyone looking for a dentist! And Carrie as his dental hygienist is thorough, skilled and the most bubbly person you can meet! Dr Muson has been mine and my son's dentist for 21 years. He has an amazing work ethic. He is a perfectionist which is so very desirable in a dentist. He will go to whatever lengths it takes to save a tooth including referral to a specialist if need be. His staff, from the office manager to the hygienist to the assistants, are totally amazing; caring and professional. I am VERY blessed to have a dentist that I can trust! read more

There is a very large range in the quality of dental care and expertise out there. Unfortunately, most of us are not experts in this field and so one often does not know when one's treatment is not up to par, much less top notch- until something goes wrong and they are forced to keep moving along until all of a sudden you hit that top notch and you're like "whoa! dentists can be this competent?". Well that is Dr. Munson. And due to that, it makes sense that all his support staff such as hygienists, dentals assistants and office staff are just as amazing because they are. Dr. Munson is one of the best dentists I've ever visited. When I first came to him I hadn't had dental insurance in quite a few years - there was a lot to fix! He saved one tooth that I thought there was no possibility of saving. He did several root canals and several crowns in addition to regular fillings. I'm in awe of what a good job he did getting my teeth back into decent shape. His office staff and hygienists are professional but very friendly. I recommend him wholeheartedly! read more
