Dan Owen and the team at Murdock Chevrolet were fantastic in helping my daughter to buy a car. From initial contact via text, to the test drive, negotiations, financing, and detailing. They hit it out of the park. Thank you!!!

These guys are always so helpful and quick to offer anything you need. Clean and nice waiting room with complimentary drinks and popcorn. If you're a business professional that needs to work and wait it is possible. They offer rides to where you also need to go if your vehicle has to stay.

**AWARENESS FOR VETERANS, SERVICE MEMBERS, CONSUMERS** I'm a U.S. Navy veteran and recently purchased a used 2018 Ford F-150 from Murdock Chevrolet in Woods Cross, Utah on June 24, 2025. I'm sharing my experience to help protect other service members, veterans, and consumers who expect integrity and safety when buying a vehicle. After driving the truck home, I noticed visible dry rot on all four tires, which concerned me given that the dealership had claimed to have performed a full inspection. I later spoke with General Manager Casey Bingham, who read directly from the dealership's internal inspection notes. According to the GM, their mechanic had documented the need to replace the tires for loud road noise and cupping and had verbally identified dry rot with me and another sales manager present, Eric. They also mentioned the tires were toward the end of their typical 6-year lifespan. Despite this, the dealership passed the vehicle through inspection and sold it to me without disclosing the tire condition or providing the inspection report. I was genuinely concerned for my family's safety if we were to drive in that truck with all those conditions. When I requested a copy of the inspection, I was told it would not be provided. The issue was internally known. I was not made aware of these tire conditions, therefore I was not given the opportunity to make an informed safety decision I opted into the extended warranty (5yr/75,000 miles) upon purchase for a vehicle I thought went through a thorough safety inspection and road ready, i believe this was not the case. After continued escalation, I was eventually offered a full refund, which I accepted. While I appreciate that resolution, this situation highlights a serious breakdown in safety practices and consumer transparency. If you are currently serving or have previously served in the military and have experienced similar issues with this dealership, I encourage you to share your experience and help protect others. Here are official resources where you can file a complaint: Military Consumer Protection (FTC + DoD) - https://www.militaryconsumer.gov Click "Report a Problem" to submit your case through the Federal Trade Commission Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) - https://www.consumerfinance.gov/complaint Especially helpful if financing, interest rates, or loan terms were involved Better Business Bureau (BBB) - https://www.bbb.org Public complaint that the dealership will be asked to respond to

Sales process was fine. Deal on the vehicle was fine. They pushed the extended warranty a lot (as expected). We didn't buy. Known issue happens (tailight issue on 2016 Yukon XL) with the vehicle we spent $30k+ on. We'd driven it less than 5k miles (just passed the manufacture warranty). We check with Becky to see if there's anything they can do- you know maybe replace it in the name of customer loyalty (they had replaced the other one as it went bad within a week and a few hundred miles). I want for a response, Becky says she'll check and get back to me. 3 Weeks later, I still hadn't heard, so I text Becky, and of course, they can't do anything, that's what the warranty is for. No surprise, right? You just figure, hey, I spent $30k on a vehicle, the dealer knows what other cars I drive, maybe, they'll look at it from a business perspective, and say: "Well, it makes sense to take care of this tailight for $600. After all, his next vehicle could be another $30k vehicle. Let's do it, it makes business sense. " Nope. Well, maybe they won't replace it, but they'll still look at it from a business perspective and see me as a customer and potential customer in the future if I get treated right, and say: "Hey, sorry we can't replace it. It really stinks that that taillight went out so soon after you bought it. I'd be frustrated too. I tried my best, but my manager says we can't replace it, but we can offer you $50 off and get you in line at your earliest convenience to get it fixed. What is the best time to bring it in?" Nope. So, I simply let them know, no big deal. I'll get it fixed, and I'll look elsewhere for future vehicles. After all, who wouldn't? Don't you want to buy from a dealer that takes care of you and will go the extra mile if little things come up? Sure. Who doesn't? "Sorry, we can't fix it. That's why I tell my customers to buy an extended warranty, but okay make us the bad guy, when you didn't buy the extended warranty. No problem we will be the bad guy that sold you a vehicle that is out of warranty and you want free work done. Got it. Cool Dude". If you want to buy a new vehicle and be taken care of after the fact if little things come up, look elsewhere besides Becky at Murdock Chevrolet. To her, you're just a number. So they made a mistake and then told me to just go ahead and break the law. Then, when I went to get a second temporary registration, another staff member acted as if they had made amends for not getting my permanent registration in time because they were providing a second temporary registration. Never mind that I drove four hours round trip to get this second temporary registration. I tried to address the problem of Incredible Auto Sales not getting me a permanent registration, but they didn't answer and didn't return multiple calls. I would say that the review isn't a one star because the car was at a good price, but the CD player went out just a few weeks into owning it and the air conditioner is rather bad, as it has been since I've owned the vehicle. So the only reason this isn't a one-star review is because they at least provided screws and a screwdriver to put my license plates on, once I finally did get the permanent registration.

I had simple questions about the VTR fee, registration charges, and emissions charges being added to my paperwork. Instead of calmly explaining what I was paying for and why, Misty came across as extremely rude, aggressive, dismissive, and hostile whenever I questioned the charges. I felt like I was being pressured to accept the paperwork rather than being given a transparent explanation. After researching the transaction, these are the Utah laws that raised concerns about what I was being told: Utah Code §41-3-211 -- Unlawful Acts or Practices: Restricts a dealer from requiring an amount above the negotiated purchase price or additional fees as a condition of sale except for specifically permitted charges. This was my primary concern regarding the VTR charge. Utah Code §41-3-401.6 -- Transaction Disclosure: Distinguishes legally required taxes and fees from other optional charges negotiated between the dealer and purchaser. This raised further questions about how the VTR charge was presented to me. Utah Code §41-3-301 -- Dealer Sale & Registration: Utah law specifically addresses transactions where a dealer temporary permit is not issued, which raised concerns about being told that dealer-handled registration was required. Utah Code §41-3-302 -- Temporary Permits: Explains the dealer's responsibilities when it chooses to issue the normal dealer temporary permit, as opposed to the process where one is not issued. Utah Code §41-3-303 -- Emissions Requirements: Contains exceptions related to purchasers who reside in counties that do not require emissions inspections. I am a Summit County resident, which is why I questioned being charged for Davis County emissions requirements

My salesman, Wes, told me that the vehicle's fluids had been changed. After the purchase, I discovered that this was not the case. Sam, the service manager, admitted that I had been misled. I was also told that Wes was no longer with the company. Sam told me AutoSavvy would cover the cost of the oil and transmission fluid changes because I had been given incorrect information. Since then, Sam will not return my calls, and the General Manager will not speak with me. Then Daisy called me. I explained that if AutoSavvy refused to take care of the problem, I would have no choice but to change my original 5-star review to 1 star. Her response was: "Do whatever you have to do." That tells you a lot about how this company handles customer concerns. I drove the vehicle all the way to California, and on the way, a major part fell off the vehicle. After everything that had already happened, this was extremely concerning. Do yourself a favor before buying from AutoSavvy: click on the low reviews and read them. Pay attention to how many customers appear to have changed their reviews after initially giving the dealership a higher rating. My experience has been one of multiple broken promises, being given information that turned out to be untrue, and horrendous customer service when I tried to get the situation resolved. I would strongly recommend avoiding AutoSavvy Woods Cross.
