Went in to inquire about a new comfy gel seat due that I just started riding my 10speed bicycle & I was in desperate need of seating comfort. Kris the associate was very help & made me feel very comfortable as for my needs . He educated me on women's biker shorts & gave me tips on how to adjust my seat etc. I ended up purchasing the shorts which have provided much comfort! My bike broke, derailer detached unexpectedly while riding, bent the chain also. Brought my Fuji there, didn't have the part in stock. Quoted me a price and said the part would be at the store in a couple of days. Thursday called and said it was fixed the derailer was reattached, new chain installed, plus I had them install a cool looking bar wrap. The price was exactly what I was quoted. Impressed with the guys at MOAB. Will definitely be back! Very knowledgeable and friendly employees every time I go there. Great, knowledgable staff. Very attentive to making sure they answer all your questions. You're going to spend more here for a regular bike than you would at other places, but what you get is their expertise, service and a great bike. I haven't owned a bike for a couple of years so I didn't really know what I should get. I was torn between different sizes and different models and the staff made it incredibly easy to narrow down. I've never bought a bike here, and I don't know that I will. Not because of anything with the business, but because of me. I'm cheap. My own father says I pinch a penny so hard I make Abe Lincoln cry. I'm not sure that's entirely fair, but my son's last bike ~did~ come out of the neighbor's trash. I walked in to MOAB with a handful of parts (mostly cables) from that bike that needed replacing. They made up some custom cables on the spot and I was able to get that junky old bike fixed up for my son. Best of all, I didn't pay much more than I would have getting a generic cable kit from WalMart. Great customer service, and they have my business on parts, if not on bikes themselves. read more

I needed a low entry comfort bike suitable for an older rider. Although this shop has mostly road bikes, Taylor and Evan were awesome and made sure I got just what I was looking for. Ok, so yes the customer service was awesome, and yes they let my mother call in a gift card, and yes they did great work on my baby (her name is Dina and she got a full tune up and new brakes), but the real reason they get five stars is because MOAB possibly has the highest concentration of attractive young men than any other organization in Murfreesboro. I mean dang. I know that a lot of bikey guys are fine, but it seems like they hire the extra good looking ones on purpose. Definitely will return for all my bicycle needs. Touché. read more

Absolutely fantastic shop. I spoke with several different guys from their shop and every single was helpful and more than willing to discuss my bike options. One of the few shops I have been to where everyone seems to be in a good mood and enjoys working there. They are all very knowledgable and don't give off that elitist attitude and it all starts with their owner who is excellent. He took the time to even answer my girlfriend's crazy questions. The prices were very reasonable (400 cheaper than the other store I checked) and they have a wide range of bikes from entry level to high end. Way to rock the costumer service, these guys have went above and beyond time and time again for me and my kids junkie lil bikes. I will always go their. I just took a bike I got off Craigslist in the other day and he fixed the brakes right on the spot for free. Can you get any better than that? Very disappointed in my experience with MOAB. I took my sons bike in to get a new, better, set of brakes and was told that the bike was such low quality it wouldn't be worth fixing. The technician said the bike was just a toy. I realize there are zealots in all industries, and the bike was purchased at a big-box sporting goods store, but trashing a kids bike, in front of him, seems a bit overboard. read more
