Great customer service. I wasn't here for pet supplies but they do carry large variety of pet food and some great snack options for our 4 legged friend. We came here for the wash station. There are 4 wash stations and it's first come first serve. Although we came on a weekend, they weren't too busy. We were able to get right in and get started. For a little over $20 They provide the station with warm water, shampoo, a brush, two towels and ear cleaning solution. They have a blow dryer there for your use as well, if needed. The wash station does go up and down to help get it to your desired height. Overall great experience! I recommend it for various reasons. read more

Came here on a random weekday to checkout the self wash area that was recommended by a friend. The store itself had a few customers but the back was empty so in we went. The owner helped show us around and made sure we knew how to operate the up/down feature on the tubs. They supplied soap, towels, a blow dryer and even ear wash. I loved that the tubs went up and down, not having to bend over made washing our pups so much easier! They also had a wet brush that helped get a lot of the fur off while washing, and with a Belgian Malinois and German Shepherd, we appreciated this very much. The wash area was convenient, clean, the price was right, and the whole process when very smoothly. We will definitely be back! read more

Came here to wash the dirty bitches we have. They were in need of a good bath. And this place has a great self dog wash. And like I said they needed it. Lady went first and she was not liking it. Until I adjusted the water temp. Then she was fine. Monkey took it like a champion. She loves the water and shower. But I think she loved the low drying the best. But we loved the smell of the shampoo and all the stuff we got to use to clean them. The experience was great and didn't have to make a mess at the house and was cheaper than having someone else do it. And didn't have to wait for an appointment at the groomer's. We love supporting local, independently owned shops and really liked the vibe in here when we visited about an hour before closing time. * Products: They carried a variety of products. Lots of unique and healthy, limited ingredient and/or natural food and snack options for your pets. They also had a variety of leashes, collars, clothes, etc. * Price: Due to the nature of some items, they were pricier, but for good reason (the good and clean stuff usually doesn't come cheap). * People: Excellent service. The men in the store were friendly and very willing to help or answer any questions. Definitely feels like an independently owned and/or family run store. * Dog Bath Area: Clean self washing station. This place was awesome, called last night after seeing their new sign about self service dog wash stations and asked for the info on how it works: 18$ any size dog (included in price: tub, towels, shampoo/conditioner, ear wash, scrubber) and the tubs have adjustable water temperatures and a blow dryer!! Greg was the individual I spoke to but his cousin was the one who assisted us in the whole process and they were both very kind. This is a perfect option for cold weather (or in our case our backyard is going through construction so we needed a different location for our bathing). Travis (the pup pictured) was a little afraid at first getting in the tub but he warmed up to the process with some encouragement and treats. Will definitely be coming here again. 10/10 service and utilities. All was super clean and they provide more than enough in the price. Awesome work guys, the pups thank you. read more

Very happy with our first experience here. We were greeted upon entering the store by the owner. He's very nice. He told us everything we needed to know and showed us whr to find everything. The store is nice too. Plenty of stuff to offer. The only negatives which are minor imo is the self wash area is tight, the towels weren't fluffy soft and it's $4 more than the other place we were going. That said, I will still continue going here bc the pros out weight the cons. Give it a try! read more

I have been a customer of Murk Dog's almost from the day they opened. Greg, the owner, walked a few doors down from his store to my outdoor table at La Habra Heights Cafe (also a place I recommend) to give my dog George a treat. George and I went in a few minutes later and George fell in love with Greg and his family and employees. George died (cancer) a couple of years ago and they cried with me. I have taken three other dogs there (treats, dog food, advice, leashes, baths), and I have never been disappointed.
