Figured it was a perfect opportunity to check out a potential gym spot, get in a workout, and hit a hot shower. We called Family 4 Fitness to inquire if they had day passes for sale. Once we explained the situation, the employee on the phone gruffly said "We're not a bath house". Yes, we explained, we didn't think you were. We were just checking on the availability of day passes for that day. Again, even ruder "We aren't a bath house". We once again tried to explain, we understand. But you have day passes listed on your website, are they available? "We aren't a bath house" was all we got. After that interaction, I was left with 2 primary take-aways: 1. We needed to research a different gym in the area that doesn't accept less than poor customer service, employ rude staff, or feel that an interaction like that is acceptable. 2. Family 4 Fitness is running a bath house. No other explanation for such an over-the-top, incongruous response to a simple question. We did find a different local gym, and we love it! Friendly staff, clean facilities, and it's not a bath house.

And then thought to yourself " why can't we have the good snacks at home?" That's what this gym felt like. It's a decent size gym tucked away in the foothills, but it was put together by someone who is obviously in love with the game. Good quality equipment. Especially the free weights. Whenever you work out on holiday, it's always a good idea to try and call ahead of time to make sure that there's nothing funky with getting in. So I called the phone number, Attached to the review. Troy Davis, the general manager, made time to make sure that I knew the process for getting in and how to pay and all that good stuff. That is kind of a big deal when you're not coming in Monday through Friday during standard business hours. During the week it seems they have an on-site manager, which is always a good thing. I really wish it were bigger. Having one smith machine has been my biggest gripe, people prefer to use it over barbells (myself included). Good luck if you want to use anything when groups of boys come in and take over entire sections. Again, I like this gym. All the equipment are in good shape and the place is clean. I told her thats not what I was told and she said there is one other person there, but I probably called the wrong gym. I showed her the number I dialed on my phone and she said that was there number. So I went somewhere else. This was a bait and switch tactic and she was pouring on the sales pressure when she said, "that price is only about $8.00 a day" Stay away! They are not honest!

On my first day, I had trouble accessing the gym through the app. Although I was hesitant to bother anyone, I texted the owner, Rob, whose number was posted on the door for after-hours assistance. He responded promptly and patiently helped me get everything sorted out. The next morning, I arrived around 4:30 a.m. and once again found myself unable to get in. Feeling terrible about reaching out so early a second time, I sent Rob another text, only to learn that the gym doesn't open until 6:00 a.m. on Sundays. Despite my mistake, he was pleasant, professional, and incredibly helpful. The gym itself is clean, well-maintained, and equipped with the majority of the machines and free weights that most gym-goers need. While the facility is somewhat smaller and the dumbbells top out at 75 pounds, that's completely understandable given the location and size of the gym. I'm genuinely grateful that a facility like T-Fit exists in the mountain town of Arnold, and the day pass pricing is very reasonable. Although I have never met Rob in person, I hope to do so during a future visit. Based on my interactions with him, he appears to embody the qualities of both an outstanding business owner and a true fitness professional. I would gladly return whenever I'm back in the area.

The next year we moved in to Sonora Hills, and about a year after that I discovered CLASS 5, and suddenly my life changed for the better! CLASS 5 keeps me strong; so I can live a better life.
