They do get very busy around peak times but are worth it! Very tasty, great deli options. We do a lot of office lunches here.

Heres the deal.... I went to murrays for lunch on a saturday. Its a nice casual family friendly atmosphere. My mom ordered a rueben with potato salad and i had a french dip with curly fries. The curly fries were very good, the only thing that stood out as they were clearly homemade and freshly fried. We both agreed the sandwiches were lacking in taste and size and if i had to describe them in one word it would have to be forgettable. Would i come back? Ya, I guess I would, but for three reasons: 1) I love french fries and their housemade curly fries were pretty tasty. 2) The atmosphere at Murray's is pleasant and clean 3) While the sandwiches were both lacking, they weren't horrible, but they were far from memorable. read more

I love getting their food to-go through westtexastogo. Their chicken salad on top of an avocado plate is yummy. My husband swears that their Ruben is the best in Midland. The curley fries are good as well. read more

Friend and I came and we ordered the French Dip and the Chik-ado with the jalapeño bun. I got the Chick-ado because I heard it was great--overall I thought it was okay. I felt that chicken was a bit over-cooked and dry. Potato salad is also okay, a bit too creamy for me. My friend thought the French Dip and it was terrible. The roast beef really dry and the au jus did not have much flavor. The chocolate cake is delicious though! read more

I enjoy going to Murray's for lunch. I have gotten a few different sandwiches. And their hamburgers are really good. Their BLT is one of the best in town, they put a ton of bacon and have them toast your bread. They have curly sting fries that are perfect side to a sandwich or fruit. The best deli in Midland. Don't let the long line at lunch scare you. It moves fast and is so worth the wait. Scan the menu and be ready to order and that will help speed things along for everyone. I love the meat eater!! It's my favorite minus the horseradish! They will make it however you like it. Have had several other sandwiches and have no complaint about any of them. I had lunch there, today. Everything was clean, and the staff were very friendly. Having tried the jalepeno burger, I decided to go lighter, and order the best burger. The beef patty could use some seasoning, but the burger was really good, with the fresh lettuce, tomatoe, and other condiments from the salad bar. After reading the reviews I realized I might have ordered the wrong menu item. I had the BLT with no "T" on half of the sandwich. Very little mayo on half of the sandwich but sloppy mayo everywhere on the other half. It is not hard to make a BLT, IHOP makes a good one, maybe your sandwich artist should pay them a visit:) read more

Love the vibe if this place. The green chili burger is amazing and best served with the fries. I also recommend the Turk-a-doo and the avocado stuffed with chicken salad. Soups, burgers, and hot sandwiches are so good! Get here early for lunch, as the line to order is quite long; dinner is sit down and order. The potato salad is OK, but ask for brown mustard to give it some flavour. They have Big Bend Brewery beer on tap. The food is average, I was expecting more after reading great reviews...it is more of home style food, simple & OK. The building being a bit older does have a funny smell to it but didn't bother me as much, I do wish it had more light though...almost felt like I was eating in the dark. read more

I called 1hr before they closed to verify they were open. They said they were open and I told them I would arrive in 5 minutes. When I arrived they said they closed early and refused to serve us. I've been a fan of Murray's for decades. For a time it was the only place in town to have Guinness on tap. It's definitely one of my favorite local hangouts. The only downside is that they no longer wait tables during dinner. It's like lunch, where you order at the counter and they call your name. It's not a deal-breaker, I just don't like staple places to change. It was a necessary evil in our stressed job market. read more

Love this deli. It can get very packed at lunch. Park out back of you can. Dinner is not near as busy, and you also get better one on one service. We eat here a lot, dinner it is close to my home. Best BLT in town. read more
