    Long nails

Took dog for shots and grooming (spa day), dog was bathed but they did not clip her toe nails. One of the main reason that I took her. They said they were to short to cut. Everyone that comes to my house, says, she needs her nails clipped. Very disappointed. Then they charged me $50 for a worm test. That was a waste. Cause if she had or did not have worms, she needs to take a worm pill ($18), so why the test, just give her the pill. So $239 later, she still has long nails and now I will have to take her somewhere else. Only compliment, a few of the staff were nice. But I guess that was cause I was paying $239. Lol

He's being so chill and good!

I nearly never leave reviews but I had such a good experience. My cat hates the vet, labeled a caution and the last vet basically we like don't bring him back unless he's for real sick. We just moved cross country from northern CA and road tripped it over 10 days. Needless to say super stressful time for a cat. I dunno how they did it but he was just magically an angel with them. Even let the take his blood without being sedated or anything!! And when we got home he didn't act like he hated me. I think maybe previous sedation made him scared cause he was disoriented but I thought he was just mad about being at a vet. They definitely know what they're doing with cats and I'm super grateful. The medical advice part was very helpful too lol

When we moved from MB to Murrells 20 months ago, they came highly recommended by everyone we know. We loved them at first but little by little, things got worse. The last straw was today when I went in to pick up my dog's heart medication, which is a controlled substance, and was informed that they would be charging us $20 to write the script in addition to the $50 we pay CVS for the medication itself. We also paid $250 in advance for a fecal test for our cat and we were up front about being out of the country for three months and would administer the test when we returned. Due to my illness, we returned home six weeks early and completed the test, only to be told they couldn't complete it without us paying for it all over again. We have two dogs, one old, and an old cat that we take in regularly for treatments. In 18 months, we've spent several thousand dollars on our beloved pets but finally decided to divorce MIVH, citing irreconcilable differences. We loved the doctors and staff but the owner's rules are too onerous and expensive for us moving forward.

Been coming here for years. They treat my two 16 year old cats like royalty, and I adopted my new kitten from here as well.

They have been amazing with my phone conversations with them. The Vet tech's and the Vet were amazing. I would never go anywhere else!

The…read moreworst and most dreaded day is when you have to say good by to your cherished and loved fur baby. This terrible day is made even worse when you have to take it to a vet's office in front of all the other happy pet owners and go through the anguish of humanely ending your baby's suffering, then take the remains home and bury it yourself. I had to do this with one of our cats who was dying, and years later, it still deeply saddens me. I was reliving this pain as I looked through the internet to find a vet to do this once again because our 17 year old, sweet boy Nemo had cancer and was covered with nasty tumors, and could no longer keep his food down. It was time to end this suffering for him and give him his final peace. This was when I ran across an ad that promised "home euthanasia" by a certified mobile vet. I jumped at the chance to make this unbearable task, at least a little easier. I made an appointment with Dr. Hughes to come to our house and help us. I was pleasantly surprised to open my door to a compassionate and caring professional who came in and guided us through this difficult and sorrowful experience with a reassuring and respectful session that eased our baby's suffering as well as our own. She explained everything, then sat on the couch with my wife as she first put him to sleep and waited until my wife was ready, then ended his suffering with one last injection. She made a pawprint keepsake for us, then removed the remains herself and took them to be cremated. Making all the arrangements herself. We are saddened by the loss of our best little friend, but feel a little better after being shepherded through all this with the help and professional service by this sympathetic and tenderhearted doctor who is as close to an "angel on Earth" as you are going to get. Thank you Doctor Hughes, We are grateful for your kindness! If you read the 1 star review here, you can see a person that thinks he can just make up his own rules and expects everyone to just do whatever he says. He made an appointment with Dr, Hughes, then did not even show up for her visit and expects to just let a neighbor make medical decisions for his pets, and she would just go along with it. This would expose her to all kinds of legal issues, and is why she expressly says she only deals with the pet's owner. Any doctor would do the same whether it's a pet or your own child. Then after wasting her time with a missed appointment, he disrespects her even further by refusing to pay for her time, that he carelessly wasted, then writes this hateful review. I am writing this because someone who provides such a merciful and sympathetic experience to those who are in pain does not deserve to be treated like this by someone who is so callous. My review is from someone who actually experienced the doctor's wonderful care and not from someone who just wants to be vindicative. The doctor's unique service is an absolute blessing and should be respected!

Its never easy knowing the right time for your pet but Dr Brass was very reassuring and supportive. Incredibly compassionate and loving toward our sweet girl. She explained everything that would be happening, listened to our stories and gave us all the time we needed. This was also a short notice request and she accommodated our need. We were able to give our beloved dog a comfortable and dignified goodbye. It definitely wasnt easy but in the end we knew it was the right choice so that is definitely a comfort. Dr. Brass handled Lola so gently and sat with us while we shared stories and cried.
