Since Daisy ( our fur baby) stayed there, I decided to let her write a review. My mom and dad dropped me off and I stayed there for at least five years. (Me-in realty it was only a little over a week)'. Mom had packed up my meals for me but they also can feed you their food. Mom also packed some treats for me with instructions to give me one at night before bedtime. What I really liked about BARK was that during the day, I got to play with all the other dogs who were being boarded and who came in for day care. I had a blast and came home exhausted and slept for days. Would I come back here? My mom has already made reservations for me to go there again. I can't wait. read more

My dog has been frequently groomed here. Boarded once before. Always 5 stars . BUT LAST WEEK.... He is EXTREMELY sick with kennel cough from a three day stay. Saw his vet immediately and has been getting treatment. Since it's not improving called to attempt to find out if they knew the strain, in order to get yet another expense antibiotic injection. NO woman at desk said it's been 3 weeks without an idea of what meds are best. He can barely walk. Constant hacking cough and sneezing. Up all night. He is a 4 year old who has never had a sick day before. Place should have been closed for cleaning and to let contagious to died off. NEVER AGAIN. read more

I just picked my dog up from Bark Pet Resort after a six day boarding. He came back to me with a quarter sized wound that smelt like it was infected, his weight is also down 5 Ibs. A trip to the vet and five staples later, my $312.00 boarding just became close to $1000.00. It is safe to say that I will not be returning, I would encourage others to be wary of this company. Here is my full complaint: On 6/6/2024, I picked my dog up from Bark Pet Resort. After returning home, I noticed a smell and a patch of fur that looked like it was matted. I looked closer at the area and saw a wound (about the size of a quarter). Upon seeing this injury I contacted Bark Pet Resort to request an investigation into what may have caused this injury. The response I received from the representative was, "I am at the front desk all day but I can ask around". No apology, no concern, no asking how my dog was doing, absolute silence. By the end of the day, I had received no follow up, no one reached out to check in, again, just silence. I understand things can happen, dogs can play rough, they can run into things, etc... that is not what I am upset with. I am frustrated with the fact that this went unnoticed, unreported, and had I not picked him up on the 6th who knows how long it would have taken Bark Pet Resort to have noticed this injury. By the time I picked my dog up, the wound had already began to smell. I am unsure of the exact timing when this incident could have occurred (Bark Pet Resort has yet to follow up), but best case scenario he had this wound for 13 hours (from the end of play at 6:00 PM on 6/5/24 - to pick up on 6/6/24). Worst case, it happened earlier in the stay and had been festering for multiple days. Again I understand that things can happen, but I also entrusted this company to protect my dog and they failed to do so. At a price of $52.00 a night, I would expect Bark Pet Resort to evaluate the dogs under their care at least once daily for wounds or abnormalities. This lack of attention to detail speaks to this company's professionalism and ability to keep animals under their care safe. I am also disappointed in the follow up. To not reach out at the end of the day, to not show any concern to a dog that was their responsibility to protect, to not even say that they were still investigating the matter, shows a lack of professionalism on Bark Pet Resort. read more

We dropped off our dog at our usual dog care place and I don't know what happened, but the lady had a meltdown. We took our dog back and started scrambling the dog care places in our area. We found Bark Pet Resort. I called and the kind lady told me to bring her in and they would care for her. She helped me fill the necessary information and we were on our way! You can see your dog on the cameras in the day. All the dogs are calm and socializing. We feel comfortable leaving our dog there and that is what it's all about, peace of mind she is getting good care. The workers are very kind as well. Five stars in my book! read more

I have either toured or used other doggy camp facilities and this one is by far, the absolute BEST!!!! Here's why: - Cameras everywhere!!!!! You can watch your beloved frolic and play all day! Cameras allow you to see that your baby is not kenneled all day, even though the place you tour "looks great". IF it were "great", they would have cameras!!! So many countless doggy day camps that I toured, had a fantastic play areas but the dogs are kenneled regardless of the time I came by to tour. Of course we know what that means - they stay in the kennels, and the playground is just a selling point for pup-parent tours. Here, you can see your doggie playing all day except for 12 to 2 which is doggie nap time and a lunch break for the staff. - The owners charge a VERY fair price for their magnificent camp! - My dog forgets ALL ABOUT ME when we arrive and nearly chokes himself trying to get in to play. I guess I never walk fast enough lol. - Super clean all the time! - Pets ALWAYS have a person supervising and interacting with your puppy in any of the play rooms. There are cameras in all. Lose the ******* "camps" that take your pup in, show you a great playground, then after you leave, kennel them in a crate the rest of the day so they never have to work or cleanup the play yard. I drive 45 mins each time to go here, and it's worth every mile. read more

Our seven-month-old doodle runs to the door In the morning when I ask her if she wants to go to "school!" No problem getting her to the car. Haha She has enjoyed the socialization with her "peers." Great exercise and getting out the "zoomies." We have used their grooming service twice. Danielle does an outstanding job with our Princess. I wish I could give this fantastic organization 15 gold stars. They deserve them. read more

My dog stayed at Bark Pet Resort for a weekend trip and then later for two consecutive weeks, for a total stay of twenty days. We purchased our days as two 10-day packages. Initially, Bark Pet Resort seemed to provide everything we needed, so here are the pros and cons for the first 18 days of our stay: Pros: 1-My dog could play during the day instead of being confined to a kennel. 2-Cameras were available to view my dog in the indoor common areas. 3-I was able to check my dog out on multiple occasions to spend time with her. 4-Facebook posts provide occasional updates for BPR, and one time, I was able to see my dog online, which I found exciting and enjoyable. 5-My dog seemed content to go back to the kennel and did not show any signs of anxiety or fear. Cons: 1-My dog was rarely in the common areas indoors, and there is no camera in the outdoor play area for big dogs. 2-The report card feature on the BPR portal never included any updates or notes about my dog. The online portal seems to be used only for billing. That's my initial review of BPR, and if my dog's stay had ended at 18 days, I would probably give BPR five stars. Unfortunately, the end of our experience made me lose confidence in BPR, and I do not currently feel I could kennel my dog at BPR without going to check on her every day. Here are the facts, and you can draw your own conclusions: When I picked my dog up mid-morning on Saturday, I was asked if anyone had called us (which they hadn't) and then was informed that my dog had started coughing two days prior and that she may have kennel cough. No other information was given. We were on vacation, already checked out of our rental, and limited on options since it was Saturday, so we loaded up and headed home. It was soon obvious that my dog had more than a cough, and I began looking at options for emergency veterinary care. When I finally got my dog into an Urgent Care vet, she was diagnosed with severe pneumonia in both lungs and immediately transferred to ICU at a veterinarian hospital. After spending four days in ICU with oxygen tubes stitched into her nose and IVs pushing fluids with antibiotics, my dog was able to transition to oral medications. When she came home, it was with multiple medications, severe activity restrictions, and 3AM medication administration, along with directions to routinely time her respiratory rate and take her to the emergency room at any change, as respiratory distress would still be life threatening. Thankfully, our sweet, beautiful girl has pulled through the trauma and stress, which our vet suggests might have been avoided had we been contacted when she first began coughing. read more

Very poorly run organization. Called to have my dogs boarded. The receptionist Annie gave information about pricing which is $86 for both dogs. Then proceeded to inform me I had to go online to make a reservation. I went online and it's a whole ordeal. They want all kinds of information about the dogs, eating times, portions, and so on. Fair enough... then they want your dogs photos and credit card information upfront for $170 deposit. This is when I got frustrated. I submitted my application and called to set up the dates. Annie informed me she did not have my credit card information and wanted it over the phone. My response was I already gave it in the application. I haven't been to the facility or seen what they have to offer. So... I got the vet records and drove there to see the place. I was informed I was not allowed to see the facility. Next, I was informed they don't know what happened to my credit card information. So recap. Annie was incapable of setting up my boarding over the phone, I filled out the application as requested, they want my CC info over the phone, and would not let me see the facility. Folks... for that kinda money it was a very poor experience. I was told to go elsewhere. When I stated that was a poor answer. She said that's the only answer. I ended up boarding at K9 cabana. I wouldn't waste my money or time with this facility. read more

My sister and I are very happy with the care our boys received. We were met with friendly staff, got a tour before we left them there. We also enjoyed watching them play on the webcam the ladies watching them were great about giving the dogs attention. My vet had not recorded the Bordetella vaccine that he received, I had to go up the street to get one for him to be accepted. I know he got one, I am glad Bark! Pet Resort didn't just take my word for it because I don't want an unvaccinated dog around my dog. My sister and I made another reservation for October. read more

I'd love to give them 5 stars but I just can't. Our dog has been a few times, seems happy to be dropped off and happy to be picked up. The last visit, got in the car and he had a bit of a cough. Thought maybe he was just panting so hard that he'd worked up a cough. That night, no one in our house slept as he was up all night coughing. He had to be coughing at the kennel and they didn't bother to share that with us. He was coughing when I picked him up. Over $400 later at the vet, he has kennel cough. He's vaccinated for it but still capable of catching it. I just wish they'd told us when he was picked up. I emailed them to let them know he was coughing and heading to a vet. I then emailed them to confirm that he indeed had it and never heard back from them. read more

First time using a daycare and we wanted a place w. a camera. The staff were very nice and gave us a tour. There was a staff member with the dogs at all times. It seemed like they mixed big dogs w medium and small at one point. Wish the cameras had better angles cause there were parts where it'd cut off so you couldn't see in the corners and our dog really liked staying in one of the corners the picture of the cameras was good and there was no audio. One of the staff members blew bubbles for the dogs and in one of the indoor play areas they had a trampoline and sit swing. Outdoor play area had a caterpillar toy thing that some dogs like standing on top of, a slide that we saw a couple dogs go down, and a cot where dogs could sit and relax, outdoor is turf which I imagine is b/c it's easier to clean when they potty read more

I cannot recommend bark enough! It's always a little stressful trying to make sure your pet is in good hands while you're out of town and they made it easy for us. We boarded our pup here while we went on vacation and they took excellent care of him. They sent us an email update as to how he was doing and posted a few pictures on Instagram which we were very happy to see. The facility is clean, well taken care of, and up to date. Can't say enough GREAT things about Bark! My dog Hunley LOVES it there! The staff are always friendly and the pet resort is immaculate! I was given a tour when I first inquired about bringing my fur baby there. It has outdoor areas as well as indoor areas. The dogs are under constant supervision by staff in each area. I felt Hunley was very safe, loved, and stimulated there. I'll be honest I've never been in a pet facility where it didn't smell like dogs or harsh cleaning supplies- Bark is the exception!!! You would never know they had dogs in the building if there wasn't a sign out front! No dog smell, urine, or chemical smell! It's impressive how clean they keep Bark! It makes me feel confident that my Hunley is well taken care of. I like that they take pride in keeping Bark sanitized in a safe and healthy manner for the dogs. The best part is the cameras! I love to just check up on my fur baby throughout the day. It's cute to see them play with there friends and the staff. I also get my dog groomed. They have a full grooming service available. Hunley gets a deluxe bath which is the works! A bath, brush, nail trim, ear cleaning, teeth brush, etc. They do it all. He even comes home after with the cutest bandannas! I could go on and on how much they mean to me and Hunley! It's a wonderful place!
