My nephew attends this school and it is clear that the teachers are not trained in basic accommodations and learning styles. The behavior management is strictly punitive and does not contain any positive reinforcement. Rather than supporting students (even when provided explicit guidance on what may work for a child), the administration would rather send the child home, completely disrupting the work day for caregivers. Teachers do not greet students or previews activities which is basic 101. This place feels like a prison and my baby cries every day at drop off. This was never an issue at the previous school. As a former teacher, I would not recommend anyone to send their child here. read more

My husband and I were really hesitant at first, but the entire team has made the experience smooth and comforting. The Director, Blanca, was incredibly patient and thorough in answering all our questions and explaining the daily curriculum. All of the teachers are so attentive and loving with our little one. Disclaimer: My child was with them for a year and a half from infant to toddler. This review is based off comparison to my child who is now 4 months in his new school. PROS: + Best teachers from infant-toddler: Ms. Alma, Ms. Caitlin & Ms. Susan. Our absolute #1 is Ms. Alma. + Convenience of time. 6:30 am till 6:00 pm. CONS: - POOR TEACHER TO STUDENT RATIOS. In the toddler classes, it is (1:12-16) 1 teacher to 12-16 students at a time. Teachers were often overwhelmed & unhappy. My child was often placed in different classes throughout the day to accommodate poor staffing ratios & had different teachers rotating. Not conducive for stability. Now we are at a school that's 1:4 ratio. - EXPENSIVE TUITION. Tuition based is not worth the price for the poor student to teacher ratio. We were paying almost $500 a week with them. - AT RISK FOR GLOBAL DEVELOPMENT DELAY (GDD). Due to poor staffing ratios, my child often was placed in the infant room for extended periods of time till I address it. I believe that contributed to GDD. - NO AUTISM INCLUSION. Most of the teachers weren't inclusive to autism. Center director basically told us that he needed 1:1 ABA while at the center. I can tell you now that he is in a class where it's 12 students & 1:4 ratio, he is absolutely thriving without 1:1. - SICK ALL THE TIME. My child literally had hand foot mouth disease and/or a cough/cold every 2-3 months. It was frequent to the point my child was in urgent care often. At the new school, my child has only gotten sick once & not gotten HFMD. - FREQUENT INJURY OCCURRENCE. My child has gotten bitten or bruised frequently. There is one incident that my child had a bruise on forehead that lasted for days. As a nursing professional myself, the bruise was atypical & unacceptable. They had no explanation, did not notify us parents and or even witnessed the incident. Investigator by community care licensing stated they did not violate anything. OVERALL: We absolutely loved the teachers we mentioned. However, I DO NOT recommend this place at all. Our telltale sign was that our child was nonverbal, had global development delay & would have meltdowns going into the school. Within 1 month of our child in the new school, our child is thriving, speaking, and is now meeting milestones. Absolutely loves going to the new school. Please look at community care licensing complaints they've had. We wished we knew this before he was even enrolled in there. We believe the teachers deserves better ratios, better implementation on cleaning & infection control practices...just everything. read more

Kindercare and the teachers have been a blessing to our family. As a full-time working mom with an active-duty spouse, it is critical that I have care for my children that I can trust. My son has been enrolled for 3+ years and was fully prepared to attend elementary school after going through their programs. The impact they have had on my son was the reason I enrolled my daughter when I had to return to work after maternity leave. I know that my kids are safe and well taken care of every day. The teachers are always accommodating to my preferences and foster open communication. The facility is always safe and clean and provides age-appropriate activities. Lack of communication from caregivers Ms. Bernadette seems to hate her job and doesn't do well with children. My son had a BI with him at all times and they let us know the place was inconsistent with rules and the kinder care giver had little patience with the kids. This center is absolutely phenomenal. My daughter and I have been with this center since she turned 3 months old. She is 4 years old now! This center is our family for sure and I would not trust anyone else with my daughter. She looks forward to coming to school and especially loves seeing all of her teachers. My boys absolutely adore the employees that work here. They are in two different age groups and walk in with smiles each and every day. They are also always greeted with smiles and by name on their way in. Something that stands out is how highly our boys talk about their providers in the center. Our youngest is filled with love from staff, reassurance, and how thankful they are to have him there. He comes home everyday saying how much he loves them & how kind they are to him. They are always updating me with what they are doing throughout the day and what he's eaten/hasn't eaten. My oldest also loves his providers, they had such a positive impact on his life so far as well. He is comfortable and feels safe going to KinderCare. I appreciate all of the staff showing up for my kids and all of the other kids each and every single day. I know that when they are in KinderCare they are being treated with love and respect which makes us parents going to work everyday easier! read more

It started off great until not even a week or two later I was getting notes every day on how bad my daughter was misbehaving and such a nuisance to their staff. Mind you she just turned two. We just moved her daycare's because moved. We never had any issues at her previous daycare and we were there for 16 months, The Director and most of the staff were so rude and disrespectful to myself and husband. They did not offer any help or any solutions at all for any of the issues that were going on and gave us a week to find a new daycare. We were only there a month now they keep sending me bills two months later to pay all these daycare fees like we still attend there it's super annoying. It's borderline harassment. If you try to email them, they do not reply and ignore you. I have multiple examples . They do not help still even months later please do not take your kid here and save the stress, I do not recommend them to anybody. My child started to regress there as well due to the lack of care and education. I'm sure they'll come on my post and say how sorry they are for the misunderstanding to make up some bullshit excuse don't fall for you guys. I wish I could leave a zero star review. My son is 2 and a half and has disabilities but the director Blanca ensured us that he would be fine there. They began complaining that he was playing in the sink causing him to need his clothes changed everyday, he was coming home with soaking wet shoes to the point of his feet being wrinkled. They said he plays in the sink while other kids are getting their diaper changes, but they only have one teacher per 12 children and they're supposed to have a second teacher. They made us bring his iPad to entertain him so he wouldn't play in the sink? Did that and he was still being soaked on a daily basis. We complained to social services and then the school started complaining he wouldn't take a nap, again he's 2 and a half with disabilities, so they would make us leave work to pick him up early multiple times. Finally they decided to kick him out of the school because he wouldn't nap. We've already spoke with licensing and social services who have said that is against the laws. My advice is to not waste your time here. Don't expose your children to this center. read more

My kids have been going to murrieta kindercare since they were both 3 months old. We have been nothing but happy with how they are taken care of and how much they have learned and excelled. Whenever there has been any issues such as my son biting or trouble adjusting they have continued to work with us to figure out exactly what the problem is and fix it. My son has been going to KinderCare for the past year, and I believe that each year it get's better and better! My child used to have issues leaving my side, which is completely understandable because be is an only child, but for as his education and how much the staff cares for him makes me more and more comfortable. If adjustment's need to be made they are willing to work with your, almost, every need. The pricing is definitely reasonable considering that they have the ability to take your child to school and pick them up. I have shown up to this facility at random times and days, and I have not once come accross anything out of the ordinary with my child. If anything he doesn't like when I pick him up early!! He always looks forward to going back and I look forward to taking him. It has always been said that you want to listen to your children and watch their reactions with people especially, and this is exactly what I do with the daycare. He loves it! read more

If I could give them ZERO stars, I would. Awful, awful, awful! Not all Kindercares are created equal. This is my first experience with Kindercare and it has been terrible. I had heard good things about Kindercare schools in other cities, but this one clearly does not stack up. Communication from the teachers and administration is terrible. I almost never received the "daily reports" that they insist they prepare for every child, the children are crammed into tiny, oppressive spaces that I cannot imagine is comfortable for the kids or the staff. Money is clearly the number one priority at this school. I found this out the hard way when I had entered into a verbal agreement from them before enrolling my child that they would honor a price match for 12 months (their tuition is close to double that of other local schools)... well 6 months in to the agreement period they revoked the price match stating there is "fine print" on the contract saying they have the right to change the price whenever they see fit. Nice. They even acknowledged the agreement existed, but stated that I probably should have gotten it in writing anyway. Are you serious?? I cannot warn people enough.... stay away. Your child's happiness and well-being are not this center's number one concern.... $$$$ is. Sad. My son was absolutely miserable at this school every day during his 9 month enrollment. When I realized that I should have listened to my gut and taken him out of this school much earlier, I felt horrible for leaving him in there as long as I did. My advice, pass this school up and put your child in a quality and enriching environment like Murrieta Ranch or Anne Sullivan Nursery School. They are less expensive and foster a positive environment that money just can't buy! read more

My son has been going here since he was 3 months old and he LOVES it!!! A while back, we were suppose to be moving so we disenrolled him and he was really upset by the whole thing. Long story short, we ended up staying and by that point a new facility had opened closer to our home (Childrens Lighthouse) so we took a chance on them. WRONG MOVE!!! That facility was very poorly managed so he is now back at Kindercare and he is 100% happier. read more

I can not say enough great things about this KinderCare! My daughter started out last year in the preschool program and immediately the kindergarten teacher, Miss Jennifer noticed her potential. They asked me to place her in the kindergarten class and I can proudly say my daughter just started first grade although she does not meet the age requirements the schools have to enroll. She has excelled in every area and is excited for school! My kids have been going to the Murrieta Kindercare since 2014. Both started in the infant room and have had a wonderful experience. The teachers/director are fantastic and really care about the development and safety of my kids. My husband and I are very picky about childcare and did a lot of research. Sure, kindercare is pricey, but you get what you pay for, right? Since the new director has taken over, Kindercare has added a lot of great programs like cooking, summer programs and phonics. KinderCare Murrieta has been wonderful since the first day I walked in for a tour. I immediately felt a welcoming and inclusive environment. The director and her staff have always been very compassionate, understanding, accommodating, loving and caring with our son. We especially appreciate all the small things that the staff members do for our son. Those acts of kindness may seem small but they make a big difference and show that attention is being given to details. Our son has been attending KinderCare since he was two and is now in prekindergarten. He loves his teachers and classmates and looks forward to going to school every day. One of the main reasons we chose KinderCare is because of their accreditation and academic curriculum. Our son is acquiring all the knowledge, skills and abilities for his age and will be well prepared to transition into kindergarten successfully. We love the KinderCare application because it is updated throughout the day with our son's academic progress, activities, meals and pictures of what he is doing. It is also an additional tool to be able to communicate with his teacher or the director. KinderCare has taken all the necessary steps and recommendations to reduce the risk of COVID-19. We were allowed to take our son out of school at the onset of the pandemic without being charged for tuition, were kept informed about the status of the virus's impacts on the school during his absence and he was able to return once we felt comfortable and saw KinderCare successfully implement the safety measures to avoid contagion. Our son has been back in school since June and we have not gotten sick due to their safety and sanitary measures. We look forward to enrolling our one-year-old daughter in the near future. I recently pulled my daughters out of this program because of the lack of support and encouragement they give to their students. My daughter (4 y/o)is a bit strong willed and had been struggling with transitioning from fun activities to (what she considers) activities that are not as fun. Teachers never called us to schedule a meeting to try and figure out the best way to work with our daughter. Our daughter would cry every night and tell us that she hated school and pretended to be sick so she wouldn't have to go to school (mind you, she is 4 y/o). A couple of the teachers (from other classrooms) shared with my husband and I that the teachers yell at my daughter ALL DAY. We were told that they scream at her and when she doesn't respond to their yelling, they do it more. They didn't try additional supports or interventions nor did they make any attempts to link home/school supports so that we (as her parents) could address the target behaviors at home. As far as my husband and I were concerned, our daughter was struggling with regulating her behavior, we punished her, talked to her, we even created our own behavior chart to help her track her own progress... after talking to other staff members, we found out just how poorly she was treated and realized that she was simply responding to them the way they responded to her... With anger and frustration. This organization is NOT for the children, they are in business for the money--PERIOD!!! their teachers nor their director are trained in creating interventions that support students academically, socially or emotionally--and if they are, they DO NOT implement what they learned. If your child is passive and always does what they are told, when they are told to do it, and how they are told to do it--then this school may be good for you! However, If you have a child that is a bit more strong willed, and needs something more than a cattle call to follow directions, please save yourself and your child the heartache and find a different program. read more

They are money grubbing scam artists! I signed up for a trial week through Groupon and everything was fine until the next week. I told them it wasn't a match because they do not provide transportation to my child's home school. There is very poor communication. They wanted to charge an amount that we hadn't discussed and wasn't on the contract. I cancelled and had a hard time reaching the director. The assistant told me she would take care of it and I received a bill higher than the original amount they wanted to charge. I called the corporate office and they would NOT resolve it. They placed it on my credit report and told me to contact the director. Don't waste your money! It's a scam! read more

This place is not a welcoming place for children, communication is no good with directors VS parents, and the have a board in front that is not updated on daily basis. The entrance was horrible that still had summer registration display it was cute in the beginning but now summer is over and paper is torn down on floor. I've witness teachers having their backs on small children, and two children were fighting and were screaming you think the teacher would have turned around. I had to inform the teacher to look before anything was done. The teachers look like zombie's unhappy to be working there. The place inside looked like a dungeon dark and gloomy environment. The worst preschool I have ever expereinced. I have seen small children 2 years old on ground outside crying, and teachers just looking at them like they were animals being punished. It took my daughter's teacher Ms. Mercedes to pick up the little boy when she was escorting her own classroom outside. My daughter cried everytime I left her, and I thought it was because she wanted to be with me, but she told me No it was the place and she didn't feel safe, and she's only three. My son is now attending the private kindergarten at KinderCare. He has been at this center since the toddler room. He had problems leaving mommy at first and had issues with napping. But every age and classroom he moved up the staff was able to help my son and work with me. It really does matter when you have people that do what they say they will and keep me informed at all times. I would recommend this KinderCare to anyone I know or don't know. I also like the other programs they offer there. I put my son in the phonics program and he is very ahead of his other classmates. I've had a prior student of this location in my home for care. The poor little one had issues we worked thru. Without going into detail.... Please listen to your little ones...your heart/gut. Your child should be happy & excited to go to their care locations...yes, 1st experiences can be scary for them & it takes a little to adjust to a new place. Worse case if your not sure...hang out for awhile pickups/dropsoff, make surprise visits. Break your schedule up. Question the staff!!! You should not be considered an interruption to their schedule or make an appointment to talk to staff about their (your child's) day (I had this issue personally with Oceanside location (78/College)~ I was told by the director I needed to make an appt to talk to my childs main caregiver~pulled em out quicker then you can believe & filed a compliant with Corp Offices...got my $$$ back, they tried to stick me with notice/deposit crap). Oh check with Licensing too, before you put your child in any licensed location's care... they will disclose any violations (riverside county ) in past 3 years. read more
