I spent a lot of my childhood at my Grandma's house in Loomis, scurrying to the top of the playset to watch as trains flew past. I loved falling asleep to the gentle sounds of steel wheels hitting train tracks as a kid, and now that I live in midtown Sacramento, I still get to hear it, and it makes me happy. I'll stop being a Sheldon Cooper, and get on with it. Although trains have not stopped here for many years, the Loomis Train Depot has recently been restored to its former glory as a historical point of interest train station in the heart of the town of Loomis. You can't miss it. Just follow Horseshoe Bar Road from the Loomis exit off of I-80, past Taylor Road, until it dead ends at Blue Anchor Park, behind Taylor's, where you should also stop for a Golden Eagle Shake. GO DOHS! It is currently the site of town hall meetings, and inside you'll find a gavel and courtroom style chair set up along with a small train museum for enthusiasts. It's also an awesome venue for a small party or in this month's case, a bridal shower. There are plenty of chairs, tables, and a kitchen complete with sink, trash cans, microwave and fridge. I liked this location as a venue so much that I have my eye on it for the future. Example : one of these persons came into my house during an open house when we were not at home. There were people in the house looking at it for sale, she pulled our real estate agent aside and started talking to her about compliance. This was outrageous behavior. The other issues involved were inconceivable. Example: paint, this person said our pet wasn't in conformity. To the best of my knowledge the paint is identical one repainted to the original paint palette when we purchased the house there was no need to repaint to a pallet change which is taken place probably four Times of the last 20 years. Other components of their issues were ridiculous. From pot being peace out front that coordinated with our Color scheme. When I received a letter written on 30 August I had already corrected the re-barking. And then they added some additional bullshit which I found. Personally I am not standing by and taking this any longer and this continued harassment Will cease as I'm not opposed to bringing a lawsuit against SCLH.

This agency is nothing short of criminally negligent in nature. People argue that they "just work…read morehere" and "don't write the laws", but everyone gets to choose who they work for in this country. I lost my job of 5 years, reported to them that I was waiting on my unemployment insurance to kick in and that there would be a slight delay of a few weeks (which totaled about $200 that would be paid about 2 weeks late), then they IMMEDIATELY reported an entire month (over $400 [with no obligation to report anything under $1000]) as unpaid, despite having records that proved that to be untrue, which lowered my credit score by almost 40pts, which will end up costing me a total of up to $90,000 in APR over the next 30 years as I was just preparing to buy a house as soon as I started my new job, or potentially cost me the entire ability to have a house to leave to my 6 children as the only parent responsible enough to have a chance at that. There is no actual past due amount because the full amount has already been deducted from my unemployment insurance payments. Just an overzealous anti-father government theft agency doing their part to replace strong fathers with the state in order to forcefully indoctrinate our youth with their radical agenda once they render the father a weak figure with nothing to leave to their children.

An organization that can, and does, screw up your life, and makes everything 10x more difficult than it needs to be. No idea how whoever runs this place is able to sleep at night, knowing how horrible they treat parents in Placer County. They constantly shift you to someone new, without letting you know. They ignore communication, don't return emails & phone calls, but expect you to provide everything instantly. If you are a young person and dream of having a useless career where you have the power to make the lives of the people in your community, who need your support and help, miserable, then this is the career for you!! No doubt there are some good people working here who try to be helpful. I've worked with a few. But the system, and the other workers who aren't helpful, and who do nothing to help, ruin it for those trying to do a good job. You can see many of the good ones leave because it's a horrible system, horrible processes, and incompetence abounds. SO DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!!! Pity anyone forced to be here at the hand of a vengeful ex.
