Very creepy and not the sort of environment to road test an instrument, unless you play a lot of wakes.

And they also give you a case every time you buy a guitar because every guitar comes with the case, they give it to you in the original case unlike other music stores that we all know such as Sweetwater, Guitar Center, American music supply or AMS none of them in the original case you have to buy it for extra $200-$300. At TME they give you a case whatever Guitar you buy I've never left that store without a case. A hardshell case at that not a gig bag. But a real hardshell case that you could stand on all the guitars in it, and it will not hurt the Guitar. I even had one fall out the back of a truck and hit the ground pretty hard in the hard showcase and they were both fine. All three were fine 73 Gibson and less Paul 1998 seven string Ibanez RGS/RGA?? 7 7120 something like that. it was black with a Floyd rose. I don't remember what kind of pick up cause back man seven strings had just come out not many people knew how to plan now they're just as easy if not easier to play in a sixth string because everything's based on seven patterns and the strings of positions and fingering on each string and on and on and on, I think if you learn guitar theory with a seven string, you wear your ass fit a lot faster than having to see the seven string feeding pattern and the fingering positions just to get a seven string so you don't have to skip that seventh repeating pattern you just play it also you get a full three octaves instead of two octaves and 4 notes so basically anywhere from 17 to 19 notes Max. On a seven string you can complete the whole fingering pattern in each three note for string pattern and you played 3 office and your notice that if there are a much shorter space on the six string it will go from like 5th fret to 7 or eight, possibly nine

It's understandable to a certain degree, these are elegant instruments worth a hundred grand easy, but wow. I was met with hostility from a staff member upon entering. I came in expecting to spend some time with some beautiful pianos and get to experience playing and trying some out, but was constantly berated by a particular staff member who was actively trying to get me to stop playing the pianos, asking me if I had an appointment and verbally telling me to stop playing for a minute. He then insulted my financial status by suggesting something in a lower price range. Eventually he came up with some story "We have appointments with customers in the next 5 minutes, so if you could wrap it up here, that would be great." He interrupted my playing numerous times and slyly kicked me out of the store and was a complete asshat! People like this make the world of music less enjoyable for all. Music is meant to be spread and rejoiced by everyone, not gatekeeped by snobs. The one star in this review is for the pianos only. It truly is tragic that these beautiful instruments must sit under the same roof as these rotten people.

He was very helpful, enthusiastic, and opened to my questions. What is a plus is that he's been in the piano dealing business for nearly 20 years and know quite a lot about the other competitor brands. What I like about this place is that it's quiet, clean, and just makes me feel at home, that's the way every piano shop should be. Scott is also kind enough to give me advice and several helpful brochures about purchasing a Steinway Piano. I am pleased to shop here and hopefully I can buy a piano there in the near future. If anyone in Houston has a taste for Steinway Pianos and cannot find one in your regular piano shop, come over to Steinway Piano Gallery in the heart of River Oaks Community..You will not be disappointed!

It is so easy to find because across it is a big intermediate school, so you shouldnt have trouble finding this. Inside it has a indie feel to it. This place has records, CD's, music, and many cute stationary stuff! The service is decent because they were attentive to what I needed and met my standards to what good service is (thank you and have a nice day etc.) I ended up buying a really cute pencil in addition to my music.

First day I walked in, I saw this unique handcrafted small body jazz guitar. The proprietor, Taka Moro, built it over 13 months ! We started the first lesson. I was floored. He is an extremely accomplished jazz player and complete musician as well. He does this UNBELIEVABLE set up. I have had him do what he terms as 'premium setup' on one classical/hybrid, three electrics including one Traveler guitar, Gibson LesPaul ES and Gibson Johnny A. Honestly, I didn't know what I had until he put his craft to work. He will have you play for him so he knows exactly how to set it up. You will be amazed !! He will send you pics of the entire process. No BS here..none. His own crafted guitars are to die for..action, tone..complete everything ! Honestly, I am not a pro, but I've been to several of the top repair guys in Houston over the years, but this is the SH*T !. Taka will not hold your guitar hostage for several months (dealt with that), brush you off (again, been there) or do a half ass job..nothing but PERFECTION every time !! Please note that CFMA does not follow the Cy-Fair ISD or any school calendar year for that matter. If your lesson doesn't fall on Thanksgiving Day or Christmas, expect your kid to have a lesson that week (instead of an opt-in for a camp like before) and you pay full rate regardless if you're out of town for break. I voiced my concerns several times having noticed this change since the departure of Ms. Nancy, but CFMA said that "this is their policy going forward". Well, you lost a customer x2 the way this was handled, having had my kid enroll for the past 4 years and my youngest this past year. No more trophies, no more incentive wristbands, no more workbooks avail for purchase - you buy your own and well, you get the picture. Teachers are great; management, truth be told, could improve on their end.
