We decided to go to Texas to visit our 86-year-old uncle. Our uncle is in a wheelchair and has…read morelimited mobility. As children we spent many hours sailing with our uncle. We wanted to reminisce about that experience. When I told Captain Dave the purpose of the trip he was as excited as if he were visiting his own beloved uncle. We discussed logistics of getting our uncle on the boat. Once we realized we could do it we booked the trip. You only have to look at the smile on my uncle's face to know this was a five-star trip.

We took about an hour to cruise the lake and see some of the beautiful homes up on the cliffs and even saw a deer down close to the water. The water was still pretty cold so only the kids got in to try wakesurfing for the first time. The captain could not have been nicer and more patient with them as they were trying to learn. After an hour of that experiment, we just anchored in a quiet cove and relaxed on the boat enjoying the beautiful weather on the lake. The boat was exteremely clean and comfortable for our family. The captain was very knowledgable and thorough about all of the safety protocols. We felt spoiled on the boat and will definitley be booking with Three Seas Charters again this summer after the water temp warms up!

I immediately respond-introducing myself and inquiring about the boat. He responds FIVE HOURS LATER!! He says name and credit card are needed to reserve...I'm not comfortable TEXTING sensitive information like that. He says they reserve over the phone and I ask for a receipt or PayPal request for payment and he NEVER responded. From May 23-May 25 he gave me and another friend the run around. The ski was clean, had a great sound system, and came with added storage (a cooler secured on the back but we used it for cooler and storage) from the base model. We got a good and thorough run down on how to use the seadoo and basic safety before we set off. He stayed nearby and was available if we ever needed help while out on the lake. Capt'n Greg made sure to go over all precautions and was attentive to our enjoyment. We got lucky that our sail fell on water balloon fight Wednesday and on a full moon night! Getting to watch and chase three other sailboats as they played like pirates hurling water balloons across the bow was hysterical. Helpful hints for your experience: Something I didn't think of was dinner. Fortunately, the day before, I read a customer's review that mentioned they enjoyed dinner (which they brought along with them) aboard. If you're doing the sunset cruise, make sure you bring your own drinks/picnic basket so you can fully enjoy the gorgeous sunset off Lake Lewisville and not be disturbed by your growling stomach. Also, if the temperature is right, bring your swimsuit and towel. Cap'n Greg might anchor and let you swim to make your experience truly amazing, if that's your thing. Highly recommend.
