Worst experience ever! I went in to lease a Equinox and left with a deal I was not pleased with but could live with. I then got a call the next day telling me I had to come in and pay a fee they forgot to charge me for. I went in and was told over and over and over again (for the better part of 30 minutes) "you have to pay" after they made me wait 20 minutes to even see someone. Manager, who did not show up until I requested it, not helpful and downright rude. I feel CHEATED. Shady business. I will NOT be a repeat customer and will NOT recommend Muzi to anyone I know or to those I do not know. Mistakes happen, it is how you deal with them that can make or break trust in a business. This review is for the body shop. They are slow. This is most likely due to taking on too much work. Their lot was packed with cars, and the body shop is really not that big. When I dropped of my car, they promised to start on it right away. But later, the car was obviously not being worked on (the list of excuses is long). So if you have weeks (months?) of time to wait on getting your car done, go ahead and use them. If you need work done in a timely manner, or like to know when it will be done, go somewhere else. Further, they don't communicate well. Example: when calling them, most of the time my calls end up in their voicemail - and they never return calls. I will write another review for the quality of work, avoiding blending customer experience and quality of work. read more

Recently at Muzi for repair on a Chevrolet clutch. Poor communication with no call back. Problem was misdiagnosed and finally reported back to me that burned out clutch failure was from abuse. Went to another Chevy dealer who correctly diagnosed problem as leaking Slave Cylinder , not burned out clutch and repaired under warranty. I feel that I did my part buying the car. If Chevy want to keep selling cars they need to improve their Dealership Customer relations. read more

I went to Muzi to purchase my first car , having lived in N YC prior to moving to Boston I never needed one ... so needless to say I was a little skeptical as you always hear the "horror stories" of the "car salesman". I researched a lot of places and was actually referred to Muzi and specifically Paul Roseberry through a friend. I had such a great experience. Paul, and really the entire team at Muzi, were so friendly and helpful and patient with all of my questions. Paul is also a stand up comedian so I was laughing the entire time which just added to the fun! I felt as though Paul helped me pick the best choice ( 2017 Chevy Equinox - loving it! Thank god for the back up camera!) while respecting my budget. The paperwork part felt seamless and easy and while I waited Paul had me download the WinWin Referrals app - I did and referred my coworker to him with the app and I got $100 and so did my coworker! BEWARE, if I could give lower I would. Absolutely, flat out lied to in order to get me in the door. A total bait and switch, I didn't realize this was still done at car dealerships, but wow was this blatant. I was contacted by Angella Lucia the business development coordinator via phone and notified the truck I was interested in was in stock and they had great deals right now. After explaining I wanted to lease, and what my budget was, I was told they could absolutely make that deal work and to come in. She even called a manager to confirm they could make the price work. Soooooo I left my weekend getaway on the cape a day early to come up to muzi because I really needed to get a new vehicle ASAP, and Angella called me in the morning to confirm they were set for me to come in. When I arrived I was notified that the truck I was interested in sold, but they had other great trucks. They confirmed with me the same morning and never mentioned the truck was sold days before!!!!! So I asked them to give me the deal I was promised on another truck and when they came back with the price the lease was nearly 50% higher priced and with $2000 out of pocket which I reiterated a dozen times previously to Angella to confirm was suppose to be zero. The manager Keith Eisele then said the deal I was getting was "great", but when I reiterated this wasn't the deal that was confirmed before I came in, and that I wanted the deal I was promised he said it was impossible!! He said "the numbers were the best they could do, they are making nothing on the truck, and I guess the deal isn't going to work". I was beyond angry, more disgusted that these sleezy acts still take place in this business. I wasted a day of vacation on the promise of these scumbags , ONLY TO BE BLATANTLY LIED TO. I asked to speak to the GM Jeffrey Cutler and was told he was in a meeting and would call me back ASAP, ....still no call back. I went to get my car checked for a noise that I heard coming from my right tire. They performed a diagnostics test on my vehicle and told me that I needed to get my brakes replaced. They gave me a limited and brief explanation, and told me the cost, after emphasizing how imperative it is for me to get the bakes changed right away. My intuition was telling me otherwise; that I was being hustled. I declined the service. The affect, body language, and response to me turning down the services were very unkind. The guy had an attitude and the customer service quickly dwindled. I left the dealership and went to immediately get a second opinion at a trusted mechanic. They test drove my vehicle and performed another diagnostics test. The results came back that my brakes were great; there were rocks and light debris rubbing against the brakes, which created the sound. The diagnostics was free and thanks to my intuition, I saved $500. I don't even think they deserve a star. This is not my first time experiencing this type of service from them. With the results of this last visit, I will not be going back. read more

They have a tow place in the back called "roadside rescue". I spoke to them 3 times on the phone about picking up my car and not once did they mention they only accept cash. I had taken a cab there by the time I found this out. It was the middle of winter and not safe to walk under 95 to find an ATM due to snowdrifts covering the sidewalks. Had to scramble to get someone to pick me up before they charged me for another full day of storage at 12PM. read more

Jiffy Lube discovered that I had a front headlamp bulb out in my Chevrolet Travers, which I had purchased from Muzi. Jiffy Lube told me to call Muzi. It was 3:30 PM. Muzi said I should come right over. They had the headlamp fixed before 5:00 PM. They even sent the service writer over to explain to me that the bulb was not sold separately, and that I would have to replace the whole headlamp. The price was about $90. Done perfectly, in record time! read more

We had been customers of the Muzi Chevy service department for over 11 years. Almost all the services that we needed for both our vehicles had been performed by Muzi. We were happy with them for a long time but over the last 2-3 years things had started to go downhill for both vehicle repair and customer service. We had instances where we didn't make it out of the parking lot before having to return for incomplete work. However things got very sour with our last repair. Over a 5 month period, we had to bring the vehicle in 4 times with the same issue. Although Onstar confirmed there was an error each time and the engine light was on when the vehicle was brought to the dealership, we were told twice that they could not find an issue with the car (we were told this on the second visit only to have the car have the same issue soon after.) It was admittedly a difficult, elusive repair which we understood, however, the customer service was abhorrent. We would regularly go days without hearing from them. We'd call and be promised a call back that would never happen and when we tried to escalate it within the dealership, nothing would change. If we talked to anyone other than the service adviser that we were dealing with, no one would have any information about the status of the car. Sadly, after a fairly lengthy sample period we can confidently say Muzi Chevy's service department has really noticeably fallen off. Obviously we will not be returning with our vehicles in the future. read more

Where to begin? I had financial difficulties last year due to illness and injury. I had a lease that was ending and had looked at a couple other dealerships where they just blew me off. But when I walked in to Muzi it was different. I'd particularly like to mention my sales consultant Rob Roderick. He was just the best. Yes, his job is to sell cars, but it's the way that he does his job that makes him amazing to deal with. He listened to my needs, and treated me with the dignity and respect I deserved. I was honest with him, and he with me. I was treated like a human being! I told him about the traumatic year I'd experienced and how this car was literally the last piece of the puzzle for me. And it so was. I'd also never owned a Chevy before and I've been impressed so far with its handling and diagnostics! And he and the finance manager got me a very good deal, hassle-free. I really can't say enough and am just sorry it's taken me a while to write this. Muzi and Rob have both impacted my life in such a positive manner. Shady lending practices and try to take advantage of woman. My fiance's daughter attempted to buy a truck where an older truck that needed work was traded in. After several questions to the Finance manager to learn the conditions of the loan since she does not have good credit they were not revealed until the deal was ready to sign with an obscene 19% interest rate. She decided to cancel the deal and since the dealership had done work on the trade in they wanted payment for the work done which was understandable. However, when my finance who has excellent credit offered to pay for the repairs this large corporate dealership would only accept payment in cash or money order which is absolutely ridiculous. I called to speak to Finance manager who was not available at the time I called so I left a message and he did not even bother to call me back even after commenting I would describe the experience on social media. I would say it is apparent they don't care about serving their customers and would recommend to stay away from them and find a more reputable dealer. read more

Took a Certified Pre-Owned Impala that I bought elsewhere in for the free Oil Change and Tire Rotation today. For some reason the CPO status wasn't in the Chevy system. I would advise you not to trust this dealership. Especially the Finance Dept. We were sold a Insurance Policy when we leased a 2014 Cruze there, under false pretences. We were lied to and told the insurance would cover up to $5000 toward any excess mileage and or excess damage or wear and tear. After we turned the vehicle in we were told even though we went over on the mileage it was all set. They returned our plates and returned our vehicle to the Lease Co for us. We then leased a new 2017 Cruze and purchased the Insurance for excess mileage again with our current lease. A few weeks later we started to receive bills from the Lease Co for excess mileage. We told them they must have been mistaken, we purchased a $5000 insurance policy. When I contacted The GM & also the Finance Mngr thst sold us the policy twice at Muzi. We were now told, Oh sorry that policy only covers $400 toward excess mileage the rest only covers damage. Whaaat?? We would have just purchased our old Lease vehicle out right it was in fantastic shape. But now our old vehicle was already gone and sold at auction. And we were now in our next Lease and had been lied to again into purchasing the Insurance for an extra $20+ per mth and again told, don't worry drive as much as you want. Nothing but lies. And I tried to talk with Management at Muzi and gave them a chance to step up and make it right and they refused. What kind of customer service do you call that? So now I'm warning others to stay away. If they lied to us we certainly aren't the 1st and surely won't be the last. read more

My husband has bought many company cars from Muzi and was largely disappointed in their service department today. He made a service appointment one week ago today letting them know that a work truck needed service with a same day, quick turn around time. He was told "tell the them at the time of drop off, that it needs to be serviced first thing." He dropped off the truck this morning at 7:15am and conveyed that message and was told "no problem". At 2:00pm, when he had not been contacted, he called for an update and was basically told that it was sent to the body shop where nothing had been done. He picked up the truck at 2:40pm - loosing an entire day of work for no reason. At 4:20pm, someone from the body shop called to tell him he would receive an e-mail today with an estimate for the work needed. It is now just shy of 9:00pm and no email, no phone call. Looks like he will have to pay them a visit in the morning...wouldn't mind a call from management prior to this visit. read more

Just purchased a used car there for my son. Found it on the internet, the price was better than the competition. Scott the sales Rep was great, no pressure, answered the question. Lou the sales manager was even better. I purchased a car at Muzi Ford 15 years ago and the experience then was fine, this one was great. I fully plan on buying my next car there. One hint, I did the initial look on a Sunday afternoon, closed the deal on a Monday afternoon. A lot less crowded. In October of this year (2016), I test drove 8-10 Silverados at Muzi Chevy and every one of them had a vibration problem. Some were more pronounced than others. When I asked the sales person and sales manager (Lou) why they all had this vibration, they said they didn't know and that maybe it was the tires. Afterwards, I googled Chevy vibration and came across the "Chevy shake" article. Clearly, Muzi knew about this problem and when asked directly why the trucks vibrated they deliberately lied and said they didn't know. Not only am I very disappointed in the state of the current Silverado, I do not recommend shopping for a vehicle at Muzi because of their intentionally deceptive actions. read more

this review is for the service department. the lack of professionalism and communication is astounding at this place. i am not one to write bad reviews but Muzi Chevy Service earned it. my advice is to stay away. its a shame because i bought my truck at this location and i will never go back because of this experience. i made an appointment in advance to have all rotors and brake pads replaced on truck. I was assured when making the appointment that this process could be done in 3-4 hours. so i left the truck in at 7:30am on appointment day. the truck was not ready at the end of the appointment day. from 7:30am to 6pm on appointment day they did not get this done. why make an appointment? i tried calling in the afternoon on appointment day to get an update (as i was promised by Al) and no one would take my call or return the 1 voicemail that i left. i spoke to the manager, John, the day after the appointment day and he said whoever was responsible for this delay had the day off. so he did not know how this could happen or provide an acceptable answer. basically there was zero responsibility taken. in this conversation on day 2 john assured me that this repair would be done by 1pm. fast forward to end of day 2. i showed up and only the front brakes/rotors were done. no one was even working on the rear and i don't think they had any intention of completing the process. John told me if i want the rears done, its going to take more time. so i took the truck from them and am going somewhere else. don't waste your time at this place like i did. 2 days to get nowhere. plus i have to set aside more time to have the rear rotors/brakes done. what a joke. read more

If I could put zero stars I would. We have had multiple cars purchased/serviced by Muzi and they are the worst company in all of Boston. Body guy completely stole from us. Two brand new frames later on our Suburban and the car is virtually worthless when as a used car it should have a value of $12k. Just recently sold us a new Yukon with fancy rims. Got a flat and guess what they never gave us the wrench to get the rims off. They could have cared less about helping us. One week later after screaming and yelling at them to help us out, we called another car company who told us what tool to order online to get the rims off so we could fix the flat. $50 dollars later and no car for a week, we could finally get the tire off. The General Manager was not only not helpful, but condescending and hung up on me. So here I have a $40k truck sitting in our driveway with a flat and nobody can help, not AAA, not Liberty Mutual no one. And they did absolutely "0" to help us out. With our Suburban, they promised to make good on repairs when we bought the Yukon and returned the truck in worse condition and no working speedometer!!!! They are the worst, worst, worst dealership in the New England. Never ever go there. Anyone who posts a positive review is totally not coming clean. read more

I went in to this dealer ready to purchase in the advertised car which was a new 2018 Chevy Colorado priced at $28,687. After a test drive I explained that I wanted a bed liner and a side step added for the car. when the salesmen brought the price back to me for some reason the same exact car that was in the picture was to be sold to me for $35,590. I asked how the price had gone up nearly $10,000 and he explained that the $28,687 plus the $279 for the bedliner and $750 for the side step equalled the $35,590. At this point I was upset by the stupidity because anyone who knows simple addition can tell that that equals $30,000. The Manager (a disgusting and rude man) came out to speak to me about the false advertised price, he then explained to me that I could and I quote work for word when I say this "You can qualify for everything under the sun and you will never get that price, because it is a scam to get people through the door". After making this horrific confession I walked out and say that I truly have never met such scum in my entire life then those disgusting con men who try to call themselves salesmen. Right after my husband turned the car on A/C started leaking on my husbands foot THE SAME SECOND! Originally we wanted to trade in our Chevy Impala 2006 and get new Chevy Spark. KBB says the value for our car in our condition is between $3100 to $5100. On top of that we said we will pay the rest in cash if they give us a good deal. Keith (sales man) said not to worry he will give us a good deal. 10 min later he comes back saying that if we trade in our car+pay cash+sign up for some kind of credit union for which we have to pay $20 to sign up he will give us $1000 discount for the car!!! I was so shocked I couldn`t say a single word!! Then my husband said that KBB value is between $3100 to $5100. So Keith suggested us to get a check from KBB in this case! I am leasing my first vehicle through Muzi Chevrolet in Needham, MA right now. My blood boils when I think about how much they ripped me off. Rob the first salesman was good but the "middle man " deal maker is the reason I will never do buisness with them again. I was told if I put a down payment of $1,000 , they would take care of everything else. The next month I received an $800 bill that they did not cover! They pressured me into the sales then pressured me into some warranties that I was very clear that I didn't want but kept pressuring me until I broke. They knew I was a first time buyer and fully took advantage. After I found out by friends and family about how bad I got ripped off, I never want to buy or lease a vehicle again especially from them! They went on and on about doing a customer survey for them and that " I could lose my job if it's not all perfect scores. " I don't want to cause anyone to lose their job so I did it but they really should have gotten horrible scores. My car wasn't even ready at the promised time! I had to sit in their small waiting room for a half hour when they had all day to get it ready. I'm currently trying to get out of this lease without digging into my pockets again but it's looking like there is no way to do that without huge penalties and fines. Based upon the recent visit to the dealer, not sure how the person writing a comment about the review knows how many times I came by. THE SALESPERSON LOU IS A LIAR. I came by ten times. Not sure the e mails and voicemails being talked about in the comments. I never received e mails and voicemails that the vehicle is sold. Writing deceptive allegations about a customer's negative review is a reflection of poor customer service. The deposit should have automatically returned upon the vehicle sold. I spent lots of time following up with these people and I never came out with anything positive. I never received at least a written quote. For example,Salesperson Lou shut the phone down on me. And upon in person furthermore Lou told me to go wait in the break room for an hour and I certainly wouldn't waste my time waiting there. The above is reflective of inconsideration. And shockingly, the vehicle is POSTED inaccurately in stock in the website. Not sure that anyone would want to do business with a business that based upon the content of the business's writings has too MANY inconsiderate remarks to say about their customers. read more

I purchased a used 2008 Chevy Avalanche on May 5th 2012, within 41 days the front left spring and strut collapsed leaving the truck touching the ground. After 41 days it was not only unsafe to move but completely undriveable. Muzi motors has refused to pay for the repairs. I was told that they owed me nothing due to the circumstances of the repairs. I am now filing a consumer complaint against Muzi Motors to seek reimbursement. To all those concerned I would highly recommend that you NOT buy a used vehicle from Muzi Motors. They do not stand behind their used vehicles nor do they value their customers. I paid 21k cash for the truck and they refused me the $1074.48 to cover the repairs after only 41 days of purchase. This shows how little they care about their customers, $1074.48 is not a lot of money but they refused to take responsibility all the same. The principal of this matter is more important than the money, if you buy from Muzi Motors you are on your own they do not stand behind their vehicles. Once they have your money good luck. read more
