My husband looked at a vehicle Saturday. Told the sales person we were interested. He said it hasn't gone through service yet. I showed up Monday morning at 9 (were told they are closed on Sunday). Spoke with the same salesperson and he said someone came in and bought it (cash). Then told me to wait while he confirmed. Then he said they financed. Then he said the deal wasn't done be it hasn't gone through service yet. Then asked me if I wanted to look at it. Three different stories in 5 minutes. I drove an hour and 15 minutes for nothing. 4 MONTHS of dealing with these crooks I've been a customer of theirs for many years, but the past year has been nothing but aggravation. Started when my 14 GR Cher had issues... weeks after they did engine repair there was excessive metal in engine. Talked me (unfortunately) into buying a car from them -to give them one more chance What a mistake that was. I drive away in my new vehicle and get a call about 2 hours later telling me they made a mistake and that my payment was going to be $150 more per month. I had a signed contract. Talk about bait and switch! Their service dept is atrocious. No communication, tie your car up for WEEKS. I purchased a vehicle with heated seats. I don't have many vices, work 3 jobs and spend an extraordinary amount of time in my car. It's a comfort I look forward to. After having my car in their (dis)repair shop for TWENTY FOUR days because they MISSED broken engine mounts on their 'rigorous 128 point inspection'. Ken in service actually asked me to LIE to the warranty company (purchased extended warranty) so the repair would be covered. I am now being told that the vehicle that I purchased with HEATED SEATS THAT DO NOT WORK- well, Frank, the GM isn't going to fix the issue because it's not a 'safety' issue. I just purchased a 2023 Chrysler 300S from a Cadillac Dealer that was a trade in. I got a rejection sticker because the emergency brake didn't work. The Cadillac Dealer told me to take it to a reputable Chrysler Dealer to get a repair estimate so without knowing any better I called McGovern Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram. They charged me $249.50 for the estimate of the repair. I had an appointment at 8am and it took until noon to get an estimate for over $2,800.00 to repair the emergency brake. The Cadillac Dealer was shocked and told me that price was out of line and this Dealer was a crook and that he could replace the complete front, rear, and emergency brakes in a new Cadillac for much less than half that amount. I took the Chrysler 300S to a local mechanic and got it repaired in 40 minutes at a total cost of $120.00, less than half of what they charged me just for the estimate. McGovern Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram took 6 times longer just for an estimate and wanted to charge me 24 times the cost. Then they told me the battery in my fob needs to be replaced at a cost of $31.50. The battery cost me $3.56. The prices that they charge should be illegal and anyone that pays their inflated prices are crazy. The people at McGovern Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram are crooks and the reason that big Dealerships have a bad reputation. read more

Stay away. Bought a jeep over the phone for my daughter. It was a process with salesman having to check with many people, different prices and no phone calls back. After finally completing the deal, we drove 3 hours to be told that the jeep had been sold to another dealer that week even though we had communication about paperwork right up to that point. Management showed no remorse and really didn't care. Was told we would receive a call by end of day to see if they could get car back but that never happened either. read more

I wish 0 stars was an option. I made an appointment for an oil change, inspection sticker and a noise my car was making. Upon arriving they said "mechanics don't work Saturdays. I wish the receptionist's did their job" I then received messages that my car failed inspection because of my brakes and a flex pipe. After many calls/texts to try and reach the associate to get more information about the repairs, I never received a response. I decided to go ahead with the brakes the other piece would have needed to be ordered. They quoted me over $1500.00 for the new part. Upon picking up my car I asked for the print out of the failed inspection and I was told they didn't have it, "It's in the states computer" When I got into my car I saw the print out and my brakes did NOT fail inspection (926.00). The messages I was sent saying my car failed was before they even ran tests to see if it was inspected via time stamps on paperwork. I was also charged 20.00 to move from one side of the parking lot to another for a failed inspection sticker. I have never been treated SO rudely by an employee. I will never go back to McGovern. I have been a long time Jeep owner and never had these issues with customer service at other dealerships. Any chance I get I will be sure to discuss my feelings and how they practice illegal and shady business to trick customers. Shame on them read more

They sold me a lemon and made no effort to stand behind the transaction. The service department is weak; they failed to respond to multiple phone calls and emails about a number of issues, including a dangerous recall, failed brake system and multiple engine failures. It's hard to distinguish between the bad car (a Jeep) and the borderline dishonest sales people, who are highly skilled at appearing "concerned" while morphing everything into another sale. read more

AFTER confirming with me an appointment for this SPECIFIC car, i showed up 30mins late AND communicated via text i was running late and on my way and was told "it's okay see you soon" and when i got there they said "they cannot find it" for my test drive upon arrival after i drove from over an hour away and i told them i was coming from far away and they said they wouldn't sell it out from under me.AFTER being told i couldn't put down a refundable deposit to hold it, bc they don't do that. upon arrival, i was TOLD it "sold" in New Hampshire i have a photo of my visual voicemail on YELP review too. Now have the infamous paint bubbling all over from the known aluminum corrosion issue (TSB 31-001-19) Called to have it looked at and was told (even thought they have a body shop ) "we don't paint cars and can't help. Amazing dealership! I had a great car leasing experience with Max and everyone I interacted with at McGovern. Max is a problem solver and went above and beyond to meet my needs since I had some personal logistical issues. Very fair, professional, and easy car leasing process, plus they even fed us (BBQ grill) while we were waiting for things to go through -- this is in stark contrast to other dealers as I was shopping around for leases. Max was a pleasure to work with, like hanging out with a friend, stress-free. And my new car (Jeep Compass) is great. This is the nicest Jeep dealership I have been to! The waiting room is clean and welcoming; you can't go wrong with a Keurig coffee machine & free WiFi while you wait. Additionally, Jennifer was kind, patient, helpful, and personable. She was communicative and I knew I was receiving what I came for. For a Saturday, the wait was not long: I had a service appointment at 1:00 and was out of there by 3:00. My only complaint was that the parking layout was a little confusing (I wasn't aware that the service garage opened by itself so I was driving around the lot looking for the service department). I also received a sales call the day before my appointment, which I thought was a little strange considering I was just coming for basic milestone services. Horrible Customer Service I purchased a vehicle and as part of the agreement McGovern was going to buy from me a vehicle I was leasing and had bought out. McGovern was aware that it was going to take several months to receive the title and informed me that the purchase price they quoted for my vehicle "would not change". They have the vehicle in their possession and I have no payment! When the title was received and sent to McGovern they have now refused to honor the price quoted stating they were not aware it would take so long to get the title. The salesman (J. Murphy) I dealt with changed his tune once his deal was signed and he received his commission. The sales manager has been just as difficult to deal with in attempts to rectify this situation. Reached out to the dealership regarding inventory listed as available on their website, with MSRP listed on the website. I was told one car was sold "moments ago" (and of course, inventory moves fast, especially as new cars inventory is very tight), that they would not take an over the phone deposit on a car, and that a sales rep would need to talk to me about the car in order to get a price. Received a quote listing MSRP for $10,000 more than the actual MSRP, and with a $500 "documentation fee". When I said that MSRP neither matched the amount listed on their website or was comparable to any other dealership I had talked to, said that the car had a market addendum. A 10k market addendum on a 50k car (20%!) is more than I would ever pay, but what caused me to write a poor review was that the market addendum was inappropriately listed under the MSRP section of the car. Any MSRP is being set by the dealer, and to suggest that Chrysler was setting a price that is purely going direct to the dealer is very disingenuous behavior. I would not trust this dealer to do any business with based on this interaction with a sales agent. read more

We purchased a new 2022 Jeep Wagoneer last February. This was our second Jeep product we purchased from McGovern last year. We purchased a third Jeep from them in the fall. We have had constant issues with the Wagoneer from the day we drove it off the lot. The other two vehicles have been fine. They have had the Wagoneer in the shop more times than I care to count. We have been told that they just have to update the software. Well they have tried that many times and it gives us no relief for the problems. One time they were updating the software for three weeks. We opened a case with Chrysler but unfortunately dealt with a customer care representative that doesn't seem to care very much about his customers. He kept telling us that McGovern auto didn't have the tools or the knowledge to solve the problems we were having. Then he closed our case saying that we were happy with the results. We shared our concerns with the sales and service managers and staff at McGovern. They seem to try to solve our issues and are quick to say that they can only do what Jeep - Chrysler allows them to do. The Wagoneer rides beautifully, it is a good looking vehicle that has many features that simply do not work. The problems all seem to us (we are not auto mechanics) to be electronic. The radio, the GPS, the phone charger, the auto seat adjust, the heated seat, remote start and other things all work intermittently. Here we are eleven months later and still no relief. Three months ago we hired an attorney to start a lemon law case with them. To date they said they would give us $5,000. and fix everything that is wrong with the vehicle. My question is if they can fix it why haven't they? We assume that is an attorney saying they can fix it not their service people. We asked for them to give us some piece of mind and extend the warranty so we know that these repairs are not temporary. That didn't work, now we are going to a arbitration. They know they have problems with some of the Wagoneers. We are done what ever they ask and here we are almost a year later and we still have the same problems we did when we purchased it. I guess this is why so many people call them "Lemoneers". The people at McGovern seem to be concerned but I'm not getting anywhere with them. The people at Jeep-Chrysler don't even seem to care what we are dealing with. One thing that bothers me about McGovern is there is no general manager for us to bring our concerns to. We have spoken with the sales manager and the service manager but they can only do so much. I think if there was one person in charge they may be able to help us with this vehicle. I have more than 1 year with the same situation on my Jeep Renegade 2018, I drop off my car several time reported the same problem but always they have a "recommendation" on my car with nothin related with the problem. My car have a really serious problem that coming from transmission system, Now they said the new struts and the new tires is the reason, but before my car have new tires and new struts, it has the problem. I can't understand how is possible they found problems in my car that it never had but they are not capable to find the real problem? read more

Awful, scary and band-aid fixes... And we are back with the same CEL. They did nothing to fix the problem just cleared the code so the CEL went away but came right back in 200 miles. Probably either to not actually have to do work, to save money or because Mcgovern or Jeep does not stand by their warranties, they like to watch families go broke trying to maintain a vehicle or to kick the proverbial can down the road so it's not under warranty. Unfortunately, one star was the lowest I could go. I need to warn potential customers of taking their Jeep into this service center. I brought my 1 week old car in after a fender bender....after 2 and a half weeks of back and fourth in and out of the dealership (due to their lack of detail orientation and CARELESSNESS). 3 different problems were discovered and then discovered to have not been a problem.... I finally get my car back for good and find out my BRAND NEW car has a brand new 250 miles on it. Please please please think again before you take your car here. Not to mention when we were made to wait over 4 hours for a rental car when we were supposed to go home with my car. Once rental car was received no gas was put in it and we had to fill it up after it gassed out down the road. No, we were not reimbursed. read more

I am left speechless after what I can only describe as a euphoric experience leasing my first Jeep. Jeffrey Boyd, Kaylene Brunelle, and manager, JFK, are not so much salespeople as they are AMBASSADORS for the Jeep brand. From the first quote over the phone with Kaylene, the price never changed on the deal. Actually, it did - it WENT DOWN $10/month! I met with Jeffrey for a test drive. I conveyed that I don't like the "must sign today!!!" sales approach and he could not have been cooler. He was informative about the brand and model, and honest about pro/con comparisons when I mentioned other brands I was looking at. Jeffrey introduced me to dealership manager, JFK, who actually advised me NOT TO LEASE THAT DAY but to wait 5 or 6 days until January manufacturer incentives were announced because he thought the price might get better. What car salesman has ever told you NOT to sign that very day?! As a joke I even poked JFK to make sure he was real!! He is. I visited about a dozen other dealerships to test different cars, and even priced out the Jeep with other dealerships - nobody beat McGovern. Jeffrey let me come back for a 2nd test drive yesterday and I signed the papers - picking up my car today! They earned my trust, my business and my RESPECT! Thats the stuff success is made of.
